OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

NOTICE
Before putting a new appliance into operation, you should wipe it thoroughly from the outside with a damp cloth and wash the crumb tray in warm water for hygienic reasons. Do not insert any bread into the appliance, set the longest toasting time (toasting level regulator at position 6), and turn on the appliance (see the Bread toasting section). Repeat this process five times. The appliance may emit a slight odour and smoke during the first operation. It will disappear after a while. Make sure that the room is ventilated properly during this process.

Caution

Appliance storage:
After use, unplug the appliance, let it cool down and store it in a safe and dry place. The power cord can be wound on a holder on the bottom of the appliance.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Caution
Before each cleaning of the appliance, unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet! Make sure the appliance has cooled before handling it. To clean the surface of the appliance, use only a damp cloth, no detergents or hard objects, as they can damage the surface of the appliance. Remove the crumb tray, empty it, and install it back into the appliance before the next toasting operation. Do not let crumbs accumulate in the lower section of the appliance. If crumbs remain inside the appliance, turn the appliance upside down and remove the crumbs by slight knocking. Never clean the appliance under running water, do not rinse it or immerse it in water.
