Safety Precautions

Set-Up
The user of this accessory is responsible for reading, understanding, and following all warnings and precautions prior to operation. Failure to follow all warnings and precautions may result in property damage, serious personal injury, or death.

  • NEVER use in the vicinity of power lines, junction boxes, or power sockets.
  • NEVER use the ECOSHINE™ PRO to clean people or animals.
  • The ECOSHINE™ PRO must only be used by a trained person authorized to do so.
  • This instruction leaflet must be made available for consultation by the user.
  • Do not use the ECOSHINE™ PRO to clean your own or other people’s shoes or clothes.
  • If the ECOSHINE™ PRO is used to clean illuminated signs, remember to switch off the power supply first.
  • Do not attempt to modify the ECOSHINE™ PRO as this could cause a safety hazard.
  • NEVER use faulty components.
  • If there is visible damage to the pole or fittings
    • replaces them immediately with original spare parts.
  • Only use spare parts from the manufacturer (STREAMLINE®).
  • Appropriate clothing and safety shoes should be worn when operating the tool.
  • When using the ECOSHINE™ PRO, do not place it on the ground or use it as a support element.
  • ALWAYS read, understand and follow operating instructions.
  • ALWAYS make certain area is clear of obstructions or hazards.

The ECOSHINE™ PRO should not be used to clean floors.

The ECOSHINE™ PRO is designed for use with pure demineralized water. The use of non-purified water, detergents or chemical products may affect the operation and safe use of the tool.

General Recommendations

  • The pump trigger must operate smoothly and return to the home position when released.
  • Check the tool works properly before each cleaning session.
  • Never use in the vicinity of children or pets.
  • Hold the spray device with both hands so that you can control the position accurately.
  • Always work from a safe, stable position.

Applications

The ECOSHINE™ PRO is designed for cleaning indoor glass & surfaces of any kind, vertical, horizontal or inclined, that is suitable for treatment with pure water.
When using the tool, take care not to disperse hazardous substances from the object being cleaned.
Follow waste disposal regulations closely.

Instructions for use

Filling the tank

  • Unscrew the tank from the handgrip by turning anticlockwise.
  • Remove the cap from the tank by turning anticlockwise.
  • Fill the tank with pure water.
  • Screw the cap on.
  • Screw the tank onto the pole.

Pure water supply

  • Operate the trigger on the handgrip repeatedly until a fine spray is delivered.

Using the tool

  • Operate the trigger to spray water onto the surface to be cleaned.
  • Dry the surface with a microfibre pad.
  • Change the pad when it starts to leave a mark.
  • The pad support can be rotated for enhanced cleaning by loosening the wing nut on the swivel.

NB. Do not use too much water, just enough to allow the pad to slide across the surface.
Always use a clean pad. Check for impurities or hard particles that would scratch the surface.

Changing the length of the pole

  • Loosen the ring nut by turning anticlockwise.
  • Extend the pole to the desired length.
  • Tighten the locking sleeve to lock in position.

Microfibre pads
The pads can be washed up to 60oC using ordinary detergent and can be washed up to 50 times without losing their integrity, providing the steps below are followed:

  • Never use bleach or softeners
  • Allow the pods to dry naturally
  • Only use the pads to clean smooth surfaces
  • Do not wring out by hand
  • Do not brush or beat the pads to clean them
  • Lay the pads out flat to dry them.

Storage

  • do not store the tool with the base resting on the ground
  • Remove the cleaning pad
  • Do not store where the temperature may drop below freezing or close to sources of heat.

End-of-life disposal
This tool is classified as special waste, which means at the end of its working life it must be taken apart and separated into similar components which must be disposed of in accordance with the regulations.
Do not use old components as spare parts.

STREAMLINE® Warranty

The warranty on all Machines and Equipment is for 1 year (12-months) from the RECORDED DATE OF PURCHASE.
THIS WARRANTY EXCLUDES NORMAL MAINTENANCE ITEMS, including but not limited to HOSES, FILTERS, O-RINGS,
DIAPHRAGMS, VALVES, GASKETS,

CARBON BRUSHES and damage to motors and other components as a result of failure to replace normal maintenance items. THIS LIST IS NOT EXHAUSTIVE. If STREAMLINE® receives notice of such defects during the warranty period, STREAMLINE® will either, at its opinion, repair or replace components that prove to be defective.

Replacement parts will only be supplied under warranty, upon the inspection and approval of the defective parts by STREAMLINE®.
Should it be necessary to supply replacement parts before the opportunity to inspect, these will be charged at current prices and credit will only be issued upon subsequent inspection and warranty approval by STREAMLINE®.

The customer is responsible for the cost of the return of the defective part. If the warranty is approved, STREAMLINE® will pay for the cost of the repaired or replacement part. This warranty excludes the following conditions and circumstances which are at the discretion of STREAMLINE®:

Wear and tear, misuse, abuse improper maintenance, frost damage, the use of chemicals other than those supplied or approved by STREAMLINE®, improper installation or repair, unauthorized modification, incidental or consequential costs, loss or damage, service, labor or third party charges, the cost of returning defective parts to STREAMLINE®.

This warranty constitutes the exclusive remedy of any purchaser of a STREAMLINE® unit and is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including without limitation any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for use, to the fullest extent permitted by law. In no event shall any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for use exceed the term of the applicable warranty stated above and STREAMLINE® shall have no other obligation or liability
