User Manual

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

WARNING

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed including:

  • Read all instructions carefully before using the appliance.
  • Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
  • Close supervision is always necessary when this or any appliance is used near children. Do not place this appliance within reach of children.
  • To protect against electric shock, do not place or immerse the cord, plugs, or appliances in water or other liquid.
  • Do not use the appliance near the edge of a countertop or table. Ensure the surface is stable, level, heat-resistant, and clean.
  • Unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning. Allow cooling before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning. To disconnect, turn any control to OFF, then unplug the power cord from the outlet. Do not disconnect by pulling on the cord. Always grasp the plug and pull to disconnect.
  • Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner. Do not attempt to replace or fix a damaged cord. Contact consumer support for examination, repair, or electrical or mechanical adjustment.
  • The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.
  • Do not store or use this appliance outdoors. Do not use this product near water (for example, near a kitchen sink, in a wet basement, or near a swimming pool or similar locations).
  • Do not let the cord hang over the edge of the table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
  • Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual. Do not use appliances for other than intended use. Do not use corrosive chemicals, vapors or non-food products in this appliance. This type of oven is specifically designed to heat or cook food. It is not designed for industrial or laboratory use. The use of corrosive chemicals in heating or cleaning will damage the appliance.
  • Do not use the appliance on (or close to) a hot gas or electric burner, or where it could touch a heated oven or surface.
  • Do not cover the crumb tray or any part of the oven with metal foil. This will cause overheating of the oven.
  • This appliance is for household use only. Do not use any type of moving vehicle. Do not use the appliance outdoors, or for anything other than its intended use. Misuse can cause injury.
  • A fire may occur if the toaster oven is covered or touching flammable material including curtains, draperies, walls, and the like, when in operation. Do not store any item on top of the unit when in operation.
  • Use extreme caution when removing the tray or disposing of hot grease.
  • DO NOT clean with metal scouring pads. Pieces can break off the pad and touch electrical parts involving a risk of electric shock.
  • Extreme caution should be exercised when using containers constructed of other than metal or glass.
  • Oversize foods or metal utensils must not be inserted into the appliance as they may create a fire or risk of electric shock.
  • Do not place any flammable materials in ovens, such as paper, cardboard, plastic, or anything that may catch fire or melt.
  • Do not store any materials other than the manufacturer’s recommended accessories in this unit when not in use.
  • Empty the crumb tray after each use.
  • The glass door is made of tempered glass. Always inspect the glass door for chips, cracks, or any other damage. Do not use the countertop oven if the glass door is damaged, as the glass may shatter during use.
  • If the appliance is to be: cleaned, moved, assembled, or stored, always switch the unit off and unplug the cord from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely.
  • Do not operate the appliance with an external timer or a separate remote control system.
  • Do not put any objects on the glass door as this can damage the glass or hinges.
  • Do not use with a programmer, timer, wireless plug adapter, or outlet that allows control remotely, or connect to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by the utility.

GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS

This appliance must be grounded. In the event of an electrical short circuit, grounding reduces the risk of electric shock by providing an escape wire for the electric current. This appliance is equipped with a cord having a grounding wire with a grounding plug. The plug must be plugged into an outlet that is properly installed and grounded.
Consult a qualified electrician or serviceman if the grounding instructions are not completely understood, or if doubt exists as to whether the appliance is properly grounded, and if it is necessary to use an extension cord, use only a 2-wire extension cord that has a 2-blade grounding plug and a 2-slot receptacle that will accept the plug on the appliance. The marked rating of the extension cord shall be equal to or greater than the electrical rating of the appliance.

ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS

A short power cord is provided to reduce the risks of becoming entangled or tripping over a long cord, an extension cord may be used if care is exercised in its use.

  • The electrical rating of the extension cord must be at least as great as the appliance. The extension cord must be arranged so that it will not drape over the counter-top or table-top where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally.
  • Fixing and replacement of the power cord must be done by professionals from the manufacturer’s maintenance department or the relevant department.
**INSTALLATION GUIDE**
  • **** Make sure that all the packing materials are removed from the inside of the door.

  • This oven must be placed on a flat, stable surface.

  • For correct operation, the oven must have sufficient airflow. Allow a minimum of 6 inches (15.24cm) of free space necessary above the top surface of the oven and 4 inches (10.16cm) on both sides. Do not cover or block any openings on the appliance. Do not remove your feet.

  • The appliance should only be used on a countertop over 3 feet (91.4cm) above the floor.

  • Do not place the oven where heat, moisture, or high humidity are generated or near combustible materials.

  • Make sure that the power cord is undamaged and does not run under the oven or over any hot or sharp surfaces.

  • The socket must be readily accessible so the toaster oven can be easily unplugged in an emergency.

IMPORTANT TIPS
  • For gourmet results please cook food that has already been defrosted.
  • Frozen food and thick cuts of meat take longer to cook.
  • Use the baking and roasting tray to cook foods containing liquids or fat to protect the heating elements from damage.
  • Be careful when opening the oven door as hot air can escape and cause burns.
  • Make sure to use the crumb tray and clean the toaster oven regularly.
  • Do not do any cooking with the door open.
  • Do not place any accessory or cookware on top or in contact with the heating elements.
  • Condensation is normal and can be seen on the glass door as the toaster oven heats up to the set temperature.

Timer Control Dial with Bell Signal
Set cooking time up to 60 minutes. Unit will automatically tum the oven off when it reaches ‘OFF’ at the end of the cooking time.

NOTE
Recommended to only use a toaster oven for 60 **** minutes within a two- hour time period.

BEFORE FIRST USE

If you are using your Toaster Oven for the first time, please be sure to:

  • Remove any stickers from the surface of the oven
  • Open the oven door and remove all printed documents and paper from inside the Toaster Oven
  • Clean the rack and pan with hot water, a small amount of dishwashing liquid, and a non-abrasive cleaning pad.
  • Do not immerse the body of the unit in water.
  • Dry the unit thoroughly before using.
  • Select a location for the Toaster Oven. The location should be in an open area on a flat counter where the plug will reach an outlet.
  • Plug the Toaster Oven into the appropriate electrical outlet.

NOTE: During initial start-up, you may detect a slight smell this is normal. Turn the temperature to the max and let run for approximately 20 minutes.

WARNING: When Toaster Oven is in use or cooling down, please be sure there is a 4-inch clearance between the Toaster Oven and any other surfaces or cords. Be sure the cord is not resting against the back of the toaster oven.

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS

Broil

Always allow at least one inch between food and heating elements. Adjustable Broil allows the oven to broil at any temperature. Great for melting cheese at 150°F or cooking fish at 400°F. Adjust as needed.

Example: Broil at 350°F for 10 minutes.

Warm

Example: Wann food at 200°F for 60 minutes.

Toast

Different types of bread require different settings. Lighter bread and waffles require a lighter setting. Darker bread, muffins, and English muffins require a darker setting.

Example: Toast bread in dark shade.

1. Place food on a wire rack. For best toasting results, position the rack in the upper position.|

Convection

This feature allows you to cook with powerful convection cooking. Hot air is circulated throughout the oven cavity to brown and crisp foods quickly and evenly.

Example: Use convection function at 350°F for 60 minutes.

  • About Convection Heat: In your Countertop Oven there is a built-in fan that circulates the hot air in the oven chamber cooking your 12 food faster and more evenly.
Bake

Example: Bake food at 350°F for 40 minutes.

CLEANING AND CARE

  • Turn the oven off, unplug the power cord from the wall and allow the toaster oven to cool before cleaning

  • Keep the inside of the oven clean. When food splatters or spilled liquids adhere to oven walls, wipe with a damp cloth. Mild detergents may be used if the oven gets very dirty. Avoid using spray or other harsh cleaners. They may stain, streak or dull the door surface.

  • The outside of the oven should be cleaned with a damp cloth. To prevent damage to the operating parts inside the oven, water should not be allowed to seep into the ventilation openings.

  • Wipe the door and window on both sides, the door seals, and adjacent parts frequently with a damp cloth to remove any spills or spatters. Do not use abrasive cleaner.

  • Do not allow the control panel to become wet. Clean with a soft, damp cloth. When cleaning the control panel, leave the oven door open to prevent the oven from accidentally turning on.

  • If steam accumulates inside or around the outside of the oven door, wipe with a soft cloth. This may occur when the oven is operated under high humidity conditions, and it is normal.

  • It is occasionally necessary to remove the wire rack, baking pan, and crumb tray for cleaning. Wash them in warm sudsy water or in a dishwasher.

  • If the light bulb burns out, please contact customer service to have it replaced.

  • The oven should be cleaned regularly and any food deposits should be removed. Failure to maintain the oven in a clean condition could lead to deterioration of the surface that could adversely affect the life of the unit and could possibly result in a hazardous situation.

  • Please do not dispose of this appliance in the domestic trash bin; it should be disposed to the particular disposal center provided by the municipalities.

PRODUCT WARRANTY

This warranty applies to products sold by Willz Americas in the U.S. This warranty is in lieu of any other warranty and expressly applies to the individual product only.

Willz product is under warranty for one year following purchase for defects in material and workmanship.   Please save your receipt as proof of purchase is required to make a warranty claim. During this period, we will provide the replacement cost of this product, a replacement or the equivalent, or repair per our discretion.

The warranty can not be transferred through resale, including the resale through a 3rd party unauthorized retailer, and is only bestowed upon the original consumer purchaser upon purchase from an authorized retailer.

  • This warranty does not cover and excludes damage or defects caused by:

-Consumer misuse
-Abuse
-Neglect includes the failure to clean and/or  provide adequate regular maintenance as outlined in the user manual
-Commercial use
-Subjecting the product to any voltage outside the specified range
-Loss of parts
-The affixing of any attachments not provided with the product -Accident
-Use in a manner not intended and outlined in the user manual.

  • Any subsequent damages caused by the above-listed exclusions will not be covered and any claims determined to meet the above exclusions will be All liability is limited to the purchase price and does not include any:

-Retail offered extended warranties
-Tax
-Other charges(including postage to send required materials)
-Incidental and/or consequential damages associated with the product in question.

Every implied warranty, including any statutory warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, is disclaimed except to the extent prohibited by law, in which case such warranty is limited to the duration of this written warranty. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may have other legal rights that vary depending on where you live. Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or special, incidental, or consequential damage, so the above limitations may not apply to you.
