Streamline UL-POLE-01900 ULTRALITE Window Cleaning Pole
The STREAMLINE® ULTRALITE™ is probably the lightest window cleaning pole on the market today, thus, taking the effort out of window cleaning. Care needs to be taken when assembling, operating and disassembling the pole.Push the brush/swan neck attachment onto the end of the thinnest section. Connect the yellow LITE-5® pole tubing to the white Y-piece which supplies water to the brush jets. Continue to add extra sections to the bottom end of the pole, clipping the LITE-5® tubing to the rubber receptacles at the end of each section. Connect the end hose fitting into the water supply hose and commence cleaning. DO NOT USE EXCESSIVE FORCE WHEN JOINING THE SECTIONS, as this may cause the sections to split, and make the disassembly of the sections difficult. A thin film of lubricant, such as Vaseline, can be used to lubricate each male taper section, so as to facilitate ease of disassembly. The pole is delicate and care should be taken when using it.
- DO NOT allow the pole to fall or blow over in the wind.
- DO NOT use excessive force when using the pole, either by squeezing or overreaching.
- DO NOT attempt to close windows or top lights by using the pole.
- DO NOT knock the pole against window reveals or sharp brickwork or render edges.
Once the job is complete, remove the sections by reversing the above procedure. Care should be taken to avoid dropping the sections onto their edges as this is likely to cause damage and invalidate your warranty. Store the pole sections inside each other (except if you have purchased section 7 which must be stored separately) in a safe place, preferably in the plastic tube in which you received them, so as to eliminate any possibilities of damage.
