INSTALLATION IN E 3 SIMPLE STEPS

POWER ADAPTER

Connects and powers the 5G CPE WIN antenna.

Wi-Fi AX3 ROUTER

An Indoor Wi-Fi router receives the signal from the antenna via the power supply and provides the best Wi-Fi network in your home.
Insert SIM and connect 5G CPE WIN to the power adapter

1. Insert the SIM card in the 5G CPE WIN.

2. Connect the network cable.

3. Connect the network cable to the blue port of the power adapter.

4. Connect the power adapter to the power supply.

5. Power on the power adapter. The 5G CPE WIN will automatically power on and search for available mobile networks. Check the signal light of the indicator, it shows if the 5G CPE WIN has successfully connected to the network. In some cases, the 5G CPE WIN will be  automatically upgraded to the latest Firmware and will therefore perform a restart after the first start. This entire process can take up to 10 minutes until the signal lights stop blinking.

Connect the Wi-Fi AX3 router and set up the Wi-Fi network

1. Place the antennas vertically for an optimal Wi-Fi signal.

2. Connect the WAN port of the Wi-Fi AX3 router with the LAN port of the power adapter using the network cable provided with the Wi-Fi AX3.

3. Connect the power cable of the WiFi AX3 router to the power supply. Turn on the Wi-Fi AX3 router and the power adapter.

4. Connect your device to the HUAWEI-XXX Wi-Fi network. No password is required during the first connection.

5. Open a browser: you should be automatically redirected to the page below. If not, enter the address 192.168.3.1 in your browser. On the page, click on the 2 selection boxes and then on “Let‘s get started”.

6. Set the name and password of your home Wi-Fi network as well as the password of the router administration interface. Select the options “Prioritise 5 GHz” and “Backup Wi-Fi 5”. Click “Next”. Select IPv4 & IPv6 only and click “Next”. The Wi-Fi AX3 router will restart and will be ready for use.

Installation of the Huawei 5G CPE WIN antenna, whenever possible outdoors

If possible install the 5G CPE WIN outdoor for a better quality of service, you can opt for a pole or wall.

1. Before installing the 5G CPE WIN we recommend carrying out speed tests to defi ne the best possible position. More information on https://fiber.salt.ch/en/help/home
2. Once the location has been determined, follow the appropriate installation steps depending on where it is to be installed. The special cable allows you to use a window or door for cable routing, which can be closed easily. All the necessary material is included in the package.

Method A: Installing the 5G CPE WIN on a pole Install the 5G CPE WIN vertically on the base. If the 5G CPE WIN is positioned upside down or inclined, water may enter and damage it.

Method B: Installing the 5G CPE WIN on a wall

Install the 5G CPE WIN vertically on the base. If the 5G CPE WIN is positioned upside down or inclined, water may enter and damage it.
