Thank you for purchasing the Smart Wi-Fi LED light strip from Nexxt Solutions. We are excited to be part of making your life easier, and safer and bringing peace of mind into your homes.
Important: Nexxt Home LED light strip kit required. Therefore, the instructions below apply to the starter kit

The starter kit comes with the controller and power adapter pre-installed.

Preliminary steps

A. For predetermined 3.3ft strip lengths

First you will need to determine the mounting location of the strip lights and the total length required.
For continuous, extended runs, use the supplied 4-pin male header connectors to attach the additional strips needed to complete the desired length. To do this, follow the steps below:
2.1. Connect the 4-pin header male connector to one end of the female header on the first light strip.
2.2. Connect the second light strip female connector to the 4-pin male header of the first strip.
2.3. Connect the third light strip female connector to the 4-pin male header of the second strip. Maximum run length: 16.4ft.
Note: Make sure that markings on the strip match pin-to-pin on both sides of the connection (+12 to +12, G to G, R to R, B to B).
Use the optional locking fastener for connection reliability.
Clean the installation surface. Peel off the adhesive tape and apply. Make sure the area is dry and smooth for long-lasting results.
Note: For indoor use only.
Plug the strip into a standard wall outlet.
The LED strip will automatically turn on and enter into the pairing mode (blinking LEDs). Otherwise, press the power button on the controller to turn on the device. Press it once more to enable the pairing mode manually.

B. For customized strip lengths

First, you will need to determine the mounting location of the strip lights and the total length required.
Cut the light strip to the required size using the designated lines on the strip to preserve functionality.
Use the supplied 4-pin termination connector (must be fully open) to attach the additional length needed to complete the desired run.
Verify that all four pins are properly aligned (+12V to +12V, G to G, R to R, B to B) prior to locking the connector. Note: If pins are not positioned correctly, the strip will not turn on.
Press firmly to secure both ends of the connector until it clicks in place. Note: The light strip has to be fully inserted into the termination connector to ensure a good connection.
Clean the installation surface. Peel off the adhesive tape and apply. Make sure the area is dry and smooth for long-lasting results.
Proceed to connect and power on the unit. Make sure that all LED strips light up uniformly. If not, repeat steps 4 through 6.

Factory reset: Press and hold the controller button for about 5 seconds until the red LED starts blinking. Then release the button, as it indicates that the strip has been successfully restored to its factory default values.

Accent lighting solution

Lightweight and flexible, the LED lights can be installed under bars, entertainment consoles, ceilings, cabinets or even behind your TV, with the included adhesive tape.

Installing the Nexxt Solutions Home App

Download the Nexxt Home app on Google Play or the Apple App Store.
Step 1

Register by email. Fill in the required fields.
Step 2

Enter the verification code you received.|
Step 3 Create a new password and then select Completed.
Step 4

The Nexxt Solutions Home App account has been successfully configured.

Add device

Step 1

Select Add device, followed by the smart light strip.
Step 2

Power on the smart light strip. You must connect to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Enter your network password. Make sure you enter the correct password, otherwise the device will not connect.
Step 3

Power on the smart light strip. If it fails to blink, reset the smart light strip. Turn it off from the switch, wait 5 seconds before turning it back on again. Tap on Confirm the light blinks rapidly.
Step 4

When Device added successfully is displayed, assign a location and click on Done.

Functions

Light strip : Turns the strip LEDs on and off.
Color : Changes the color, brightness, and saturation of the LED lights.
Scene: Gives you several preselected scenes and four scenes you can configure.
Music: Dynamically synchronizes lights with music, and illuminates the strip accordingly.
Schedule: Allows you to add time and day schedule for the device to turn on or off.

Schedule setup

Step 1 Click on the schedule icon to access the Add schedule screen.
Step 2

Set the time you wish to schedule. Select Repeat to set days of the week. Select Switch to schedule on/off status. Click on Save on the upper right-hand corner to save a schedule.
Delete setup ****

To remove a schedule on iOS, slide the item to the left, and for Android, press and hold the desired Schedule, followed by Delete.
Settings
Click on the pencil icon on the upper right-hand corner.

Device name : changes the name of the LED strip.
Device Information: will show the information related to the light strip.
Tap-To-Run and Automation: link the LED strip with other smart products to automatically control them through a customized command.
Third-party control : enables the voice recognition feature through Alexa and Google Assistant.
Offline notification: selection button to enable/disable this feature.
Share device: allows sharing the light strip with family and friends.
Create group : makes management of devices easier by selecting and arranging multiple components under a single group.
Feedback: let us know if you have any issues setting up the light strip.
Check network: test your network to make sure you have a good signal.
Check for firmware upgrade : we will sometimes add new features or provide updates with a new firmware upgrade.
Remove device: This allows you to delete the LED strip from the application.
Share device

Click on Share devices then tap Add sharing. Enter the mobile number/e-mail address of family and friends (phone, US only). Tap on Done. The newly configured users will now have access to your smart light strip.
Note: family or friends will need their own Nexxt Solutions Home Account to access the device.
Delete user

To remove a user, on Android press and hold the name you want to eliminate. On iOs slide to the left the user you want to remove. Click on Delete. A notification confirming you don’t want to share the device with this user will be displayed. Click on Confirm.
