SPECIFICATIONS

INTRODUCTION
These magnifying glasses are ideal for mechanical processing, electronic
repair, jewelry appraisal, timepiece repair and miniature engraving. They
feature easily interchangeable 10x, 15x, 20xX and 25x magnification lenses,
left and right double eye patch magnifiers with light and both a bracket and
headband.
SAFETY
WARNING! Read and understand all instructions before using this tool. The
operator must follow basic precautions to reduce the risk of personal injury
and/or damage to the equipment.
WORKAREA
- Operate in a safe work environment. Keep your work area clean, well-lit and free of distractions. Place lights so you are not working in a shadow.
- Keep anyone not wearing the appropriate safety equipment away from the work area.
- Store unused tools properly in a safe and dry location to prevent rust or damage. Lock tools away and keep out of the reach of children.
PERSONAL SAFETY
WARNING! Wear personal protective equipment approved by the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) or American National Standards Institute (ANSI)
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
- Always wear impact safety googles that provide front and side protection for the eyes. Eye protection equipment should comply with CSA Z94.3-07 or ANSI Z871 standards based on the type of work performed.
- Wear protective clothing designed for the work environment and tool.
- Non-skid footwear is recommended to maintain footing and balance in the work environment.
PERSONAL PRECAUTIONS
Control the tool, personal movement and the work environment to avoid personal
injury or damage to tool.
- Do not operate any tool when tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medications.
- Avoid wearing clothes or jewelry that can become entangled with the moving parts of a tool. Keep long hair covered or bound.\

UNPACKING
WARNING! Do not operate the tool if any part is missing. Replace the
missing part before operating. Failure to do so could result in a malfunction
and personal injury.
Remove the parts and accessories from the packaging and inspect for damage.
Make sure that all items in the contents are included. Make sure that all
items in the ldentification Key are included. Contents:

ASSEMBLY & INSTALLATION
Letter references in parenthesis (A) refer to the included ldentification Key. Dashed numbers in parenthesis (Fig. 1) refer to a specific point in an illustration or image.
LENSES
This tool comes with 4 pairs of left/right magnifying lenses (E), each with different magnification (Fig. 1).

Six lenses can be placed inside the transparent plastic shell (D). The bottom of the plastic shell is marked with the lens magnification. Each lens edge has a small convex square block that match up with grooves on the wall edges of the transparent shell. Place lenses inside the plastic shell with the corresponding magnification (Fig. 2).
HEADBAND
This tool comes with an optional headband that helps keep the magnifying
glasses fitted to your face.
- Press the release point (A) on the interior of the arm (Fig. 3).
- emove the arm and replace with the included headband (Fig. 3-1).
OPERATION
Choose the lens with the magnification that best suits the size and intricacy of the object you are working on.
- Aim the lens’ salient point (Fig. 4-1) at the lens
- rame slot (Fig. 4-2) and insert into the plastic sell.
- Once inserted, rotate clockwise to latch in place (Fie. 5).
- Place glasses comfortably on face.
- Adjust the angle of the lens upwards and downwards on the bracket until it is in the optimal position. Its full range is 180° (Fig. 6). Adjust the bracket left and right to widen or narrow the glasses to the optimal position. Its full range is approximately 2 in.
- Rotate the battery switch cover clockwise 30′ to
- activate the LED light (F) (Fig. 7). Continue with desired work, adjusting and
- changing lenses as needed. If working for extended periods of time, consider alternatively between lenses with different magnification to reduce visual fatigue and improve work efficiency.
CARE& MAINTENANCE
- Maintain the tool with care. A tool in good condition is efficient, easic to control and will have fewer problems.

WARNING! Only qualified service personnel should repair the tool. An
improperly repaired tool may present a hazard to the user and/or others.
CHANGING THE BATTERIES
These glasses are powered by 6 LR1130 batteries.
- Depress the battery switch cover (B) and then rotate counterclockwise approximately 30′ (Fig. 8).
- emove the old batteries.
- Insert new batteries (Fig. 9-1), making sure the negative poles of the batteries are facing inwards.
- Replace battery switch cover and rotate clockwise to secure.
DISPOSAL
Recycle a tool damaged beyond repair at the appropriate facility. Contact your local municipality for a list of disposal facilities or by-laws for electronic devices, batteries, oil or other toxic liquids.]
TROUBLESHOOTING
Visit a Princess Auto Ltd. location for a solution if the tool does not function properly or parts are missing. If unable to do so, have a qualified technician service the tool.
