INTRODUCTION
Replace your vehicle’s existing passenger seat with this comfortable and high- performing racing seat. Its PVC covering is easy to maintain and clean, and it features a handle-type reclining mechanism, dual sliders and a unique design that offers you support while providing a soft and compliant ride.
SAFETY
WARNING! Read and understand all instructions before using this tool. The
operator must follow basic precautions to reduce the risk of personal injury
and/or damage to the equipment.
WARNING! When installing your seat, wear personal protective equipment
approved by the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) or American National
Standards Institute (ANSI).
Keep this manual for safety warnings, precautions, operating or inspection and maintenance instructions.
- When installing, wear protective clothing designed for the work environment and tool, including non-skid footwear to maintain footing and balance in the work environment, gloves and impact safety goggles that provide front and side protection for the eyes. Eye protection equipment should comply with CSA Z94.3-07 or ANSI Z87.1 standards based on the type of work performed.
- This seat was designed for a specific function. Do not modify, alter or use it for an unintended purpose.
- Do not install and use this seat if any parts are damaged, broken or misplaced.
- This racing seat is designed for added comfort and aesthetics; it does not provide additional protection, and any/all traffic laws must be adhered to.
UNPACKING
DANGER! Do not install or use this seat if any part is missing. Replace
the missing part before installing and/or operating. Failure to do so could
result in a malfunction and personal injury.
Remove the parts and accessories from the packaging and inspect for damage

ASSEMBLY & INSTALLATION
DANGER! DO NOT let comfort or familiarity with any tool or product (gained from repeated use) replace strict adherence to the safety rules. If you install this seat incorrectly, you can suffer serious personal injury.
REMOVING FACTORY SEAT
- Slide the existing factory passenger seat in your vehicle all the way forward on its sliders.
- Locate the two bolts on the back of the seat.
- Loosen and remove these two rear bolts.
- Slide the seat all the way back on its sliders.
- Locate the two bolts on the front of the seat.
- Loosen and remove these two front bolts.
- If the seatbelt buckle is attached to your existing factory seat, remove it. If the buckle is attached to the vehicle’s chassis, skip this step.
- Tilt the seat so that you can clearly see its underside.
- Locate and disconnect any and all existing electrical connections.
- Lift and remove the existing factory seat from the interior of the vehicle, being careful to maneuver gently to avoid any damage to the vehicle.
INSTALLING RACING SEAT

If applicable, attach the seatbelt buckle removed from your existing factory seat and attach to your new racing seat.

If you’re using custom brackets with your new racing seat, accomplish the following:
a. Place the racing seat on its side
b. Align the holes in the sliders with the holes in your custom brackets
c. Tighten with appropriate fasteners -
Maneuver your new racing seat gently into your vehicle.

Locate all of the electrical connections that were disconnected from the existing factory seat and connect them to your new racing seat.

Locate the holes that held the existing factory seat in place and place your new racing seat in alignment with them.

Secure your new racing seat using the fasteners from the existing factory seat or with new, appropriate fasteners, if desired. Do not tighten the seat fully at this point.

Gently test your new racing seat’s position and function.

Adjust as needed and fully tighten the fasteners.
CARE & MAINTENANCE
- Maintain the seat with care. A seat in good condition is efficient, easier to control and will have fewer problems.
- Inspect the seat’s components periodically Repair or replace damaged or worn components. Only use identical replacement parts when servicing
- Maintain the labels and name plates. These carry important information. If unreadable or missing, contact Princess Auto Ltd. for replacements.
WARNING! Only qualified service personnel should repair the racing seat. An improperly repaired seat may present a hazard to the user and/or others
CLEANING
Wipe the surface of the seat regularly with a damp cloth to help prevent any
stains or wear.
Do not use harsh chemicals or cleaners.
LUBRICATION
Inspect and lubricate the moving parts of the racing seat when required.
Only use light oil. Other lubricants may not be suitable and could damage the
seat or cause a malfunction during use.
NOTICE! NEVER use a penetrating oil. Penetrating oil may act as a solvent that can break down the grease and cause moving parts to seize up.
STORAGE
When not in use for an extended period, apply a thin coat of lubricant to the steel parts to avoid rust. Remove the lubricant before using again.
DISPOSAL
If damaged beyond repair, recycle or dispose of at the appropriate facility.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Visit a Princess Auto Ltd. location for a solution if this product does not function properly or parts are missing_ If unable to do so, have a qualified technician service the tool.
