FEATURES
- Dual element pyrosensor.
- Fully digital motion detection algorithm.
- Two-way pyrosensor signal analysis, based on value and quantity.
- Pre-alarm feature.
- Digital temperature compensation.
- Set of LEDs to perform the lighting function.
- Remote switching of lighting.
- Low supply voltage signaling (voltage drop below 9 V ±5%).

- Terminals:
- NC – relay (NC)
- TMP – tamper contact
- COM – common ground
- 12V – supply input
- terminals to connect the lighting control signal. A control panel output, e.g. preprogrammed as MONO SWITCH, can be used for the control (activated for a preset time period, e.g. after detector violation). If an OC type output is used, connect it to the “–” terminal (and +12 V voltage to the “+” terminal). If a high-current output is used, connect it to the “+” terminal (and common ground to the “–” terminal).
- red color LED to indicate:
- prealarm – short flash (approx. 120 ms);
- alarm – ON for 2 seconds;
- warm-up – blinking rapidly;
- low supply voltage – ON.
- socket for connection of LEDs to provide lighting feature.
- pyroelectric sensor.
- tamper contact.
- scale for positioning of pyroelectric sensor against the lens
- fixing screw hole.
- Detector configuration pins:
- PIR SENS. – setting detector sensitivity (see Fig. 2);
- LED ON/OFF – enabling/disabling the LED signaling. The signaling is enabled when the pins are shorted.

(A – low sensitivity, B and C – medium sensitivity, D – high sensitivity) [ – pins shorted; – pins open].

The EWA lens, mounted in the detector as standard, can be optionally replaced with:
- LR – long range array: range 30 m; main beam 3 m wide at the end of range; or
- VB – vertical barrier array: range 22.5 m; beam 2.2 m wide at the end of range.
INSTALLATION
- Open the enclosure (Fig. 4) and disconnect the LED lighting from its socket on electronics board.
- Remove the electronics board.
- Make the openings for screws and cable in the enclosure base.
- Pass the cable through the prepared opening.
- Fix the enclosure base to the wall or to the attached bracket (Fig. 5).
- Fasten the electronics board, taking into consideration the height of detector installation (Fig. 7).
- Connect the wires to the corresponding terminals.
- Using jumpers, set the working parameters of the detector.
- Connect the LED lighting to its socket on electronics board and close the detector enclosure.

Mounting the detector on the bracket.[
](https://manuals.plus/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Satel- AQUA-Luna-Motion-Detecto-6.png)
Note: For compliance with the requirements of EN50131-2-2, the detector shall be installed directly on the mounting surface, without the additional bracket.
The way of positioning the electronics board to optimize the coverage
Depending on the mounting height, the medium scale line should be: aligned
with the mark on the enclosure
(installation at a height of 2.4 m), situated above the mark (installation
higher than 2.4 m – example B) or below the mark (installation lower than 2.4
m – example D).
START-UP
- Switch the detector power on. The LED will start blinking (if the LED ON/OFF pins are shorted).
- When the detector is ready to work (the LED will stop blinking), carry out the detector range test, i.e. check that movement within the coverage area will activate the alarm relay and lighting of the LED.
- If necessary, change the detector sensitivity (pins PIR SENS.).
