Download the “LookiLife” app on Google Play Store or App Store and install OR scan the QR code below to download the app.

Register Account/Log In

If you don’t have an existing account, you can create an account by following the on-screen prompts.

Click on “Create New Account” and you will enter a Privacy Policy page, click “Agree” and input your phone number or email address in the required field.

Log in with Existing Account
If you have an existing account, skip the create a new account step and click “Log in with existing account” to enter the log in page.

The app will automatically select your current country/region or you can manually select it.

Next, enter your registered phone number or e-mail address and password to log in.

If you have previously installed WeChat or QQ App on your phone, click either icon in the “log in with social media account” interface, then authorize your account to log in.

Add Device

Important Notice

  • The product only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. It does not support 5GHz Wi-Fi network.
  • Please set the router parameters before configuring the Wi-Fi.
  • The Wi-Fi password should not contain special characters like “~!@#$%^&*”.
  • Make sure the signal strength is strong and keep the devices in close proximity for a quick configuration.

A. Add By QR Code

The LookiLife App supports QR code and Wi-Fi connection. You
can choose either option to add the device.

  1. Press the power button to turn on the camera and you will hear a voice prompt saying “Please use QR code or AP mode to configure the device”. If you do not hear anything, please click “Reset” to restore factory settings.

  2. Connect your phone to Wi-Fi and click “Add Device” (figure 1) on the home page of the app, then select “Security & Sensor” – “Smart Camera” (figure 2), then click “Next Step” (figure 3).

  3. Enter Wi-Fi name and password in the provided field and click “Confirm” (Figure 4).

  4. When a QR code is generated on the app, hold your phone screen in front of the camera (figure 5) and the distance should be between 15-20 cm (figure 5). Try not to shake the phone while scanning the QR code.

  5. The device will make a beep sound when it has scanned the QR code, then click “I heard the beep” and wait for connection (figure 6).

  6. When the device is connected successfully, you can choose the device name and room scene to view.

B. Wi-Fi Connection

You can add the device using Wi-Fi fast connection by following the above steps but skip Figure 5 and Figure 6.

  10. PTZ control – The camera can be arbitrarily rotated to give you a different perspective. You can rotate it upward, downward, or sideways to capture any area you want to view.
  11. Motion detection alarm – You will receive a notification when the camera detects motion in its field of view through an intelligent detection. To activate this feature. turn on motion detection in Settings.

Click “ ” in the upper right corner of the screen to enter the Settings and Management interface.

  • Device Name – You can modify the device name and location.

  • Share Device – You can share the device with other people by entering their phone number.
    Note: The person’s phone number must be registered to a LookiLife account.

  • Device Information – To view the Device ID; Wi-Fi signal strength; IP address; Mac address; and Device time zone.

  • Motion Detection – You can turn on/off the motion detection feature and adjust the motion detection sensitivity.

  • Memory Card Settings

  • Value-Added Service Purchase – You can purchase cloud services depending on your storage need (Optional).

  • Firmware Information – Supports OTA Remote Upgrade (Do not disconnect during upgrade).

Click “Me” on the homepage of the app for more services.

  • IFTTT: To connect to IFTTT.
  • Value added service orders: You can check the purchase record of value-added services.
  • AI smart detection: To push the event picture captured by the smart camera.
  • Video cloud storage: After purchasing cloud service, the device will encrypt and upload video record data to a server which the user would be able to view at any time on the app.
  • Mobile phone notification: After purchasing this service, the device will be able to send notification to your mobile phone when the notification condition is triggered. This feature supports multiple phone number and can send notifications to more than one number to protect the safety of you and your family

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Q: Failed to add camera during network configuration.
    A: Make sure your phone is connected to a router with 2.4GHz band and the Wi- Fi password is correct.

  2. Q: After scanning QR code, adding is still unsuccessful.
    A: Restart the camera or power off after scanning was unsuccessful, then try to add it again.

  3. Q: The device cannot preview normally.
    A: Check if the network signal is too weak, if yes, put the camera close to the router. If it still cannot preview, reset the camera and add it again.

  4. Q: After resetting the device, why is the camera still in the App device list?
    A: Resetting the device only resets the camera’s network configuration, not the App configuration. You must log into the App to delete the camera.

  5. Q: How to switch the camera network to another router?
    A: Firstly, reset the device and remove from the App, then configure the new network for the device again through the app.

  6. Q: The device does not recognize the TF card.
    A: Please power off the device and remove the TF card, then insert again correctly. Check if the TF card is working normally and whether it is in FAT32 format. Note: When the network is unstable, the app might prompt that the TF card cannot be recognized.

  7. Q: The mobile phone does not receive notifications even though the device is online and has an alarm event.
    A: Firstly, confirm if the app allows notification in the settings of your mobile phone.
    Under normal circumstances, a message should appear in the notification bar of your phone when an anomaly is detected. You should set a notification sound or vibration on your phone settings.
    In addition, when viewing real-time video on the app, you won’t be alerted about an anomaly because it’s presumed that you are monitoring the live feed and there’s no need for an alarm.
