II. Battery Insertion and Replacement

  1. Battery Insertion:
    (A) Press the battery cover side hooks 0 inward to lift the battery cover.
    (B) Insert one 18500 lithium battery or two AA batteries.
    (C)18500 lithium battery insertion: + pole faces toward left.
    (D)AA batteries insertion: insert one into the lower holder with + pole toward left, and then insert another into the upper holder with – pole toward left.

  2. Check battery polarity was inserted correctly if battery power is sufficient but unable to turn on the transmitter.

  4. This device can charge only one ICR-18500 lithium battery via USB Type-C. Cautions during charging:
    (A) Before charging, make sure the battery inside is an ICR-18500 lithium battery.
    (B)Confirm the battery is inserted with the correct polarity.
    (C)Turn off the power first and then charge.
    (D)This device has a safety measure to identify battery type but can only charge ICR-18500 lithium batteries.
    (E) This device can operate without a battery when using external power via USB Type-C.
    (F) Do not remove the lithium battery during charging status. Detach the charging cable before removing the lithium battery.
    (G)Check whether the 18500 lithium battery is inserted correctly or not if the indicator doesn’t glow.

Ill. Operating Instructions

1. 3.5 mm Stereo Earphone Connection:
(A) Insert earphones to the 3.5 mm audio output jack 8. Also, signal cables can be inserted and connected to other audio devices.

(B) Caution: Ascertain to use stereo earphones or headphones. Insert mono earphones might cause damage to the earphone.
(C) Permanent noise-induced hearing damage or loss may occur on  prolonged exposure to loud sounds while wearing earphones or headphones.
(D) Minimize the volume level before the earphone is inserted.

2. Power & Earphone Volume Control:
(A) Power On: Turn the Volume Control 8 clockwise to power on and the LCD will be lighted on and displays the current channel.
(B) Power Off: Turn the Volume Control 8 counterclokwise to the end to power off. OFF … indicator will display temporarily when
the device is turned off. (C) Volume Control: Turn the Volume Control 8 clockwise to increase the volume level, and counterclokwise to decrease the level.
(D) Caution: The device will not power on with insufficient battery power. Replace with a fully charged rechargeable battery and insert with the correct polarity.

V. Cautions

  1. Avoid using the same frequency bands when MIPRO IEM and wireless microphone systems are utilized at the same installation.

  2. The battery hours are related to the output power of the earphone. When the output of the earphone is larger, the current consumption will be larger and the battery hours will be shorter. Choosing earphones with high sensitivity and good isolation will help increase the operating hours. An
    earphone with more than 100 dB is recommended.

  3. The Ml-580R receiver uses an ICR18500 lithium battery with 3.7 V nominal voltage and 4.2 V full-charging voltage. The receiver will automatically shut down when the voltage is lower than 3 V. Bororo each use, make sure the lithium battery is fully-charged or use low fresh AA galleries.

  4. Use of any disposable, non-rechargeable lithium battery is strictly prohibited. MIPRO is not liable for any damage caused by incorrect batteries and the warranty will be automatically voided.

  5. Remove the AA batteries to avoid any damage from leaking whom they will not be used for extended periods.

  6. Rechargeable lithium batteries don’t leak and are eco-friendly and money-saving.
