TO INSERT BATTERIES

4X 1.5V C ALKALINE BATTERIES REQUIRED to Use a Phillips /cross head screwdriver (not included).

IMPORTANT: BATTERY INFORMATION

Retain this information for future reference. Batteries should be replaced by an adult.

CAUTION: TO AVOID BATTERY LEAKAGE

1. Always follow the instructions carefully. Use only batteries specified and be sure to insert them correctly by matching the + and – polarity markings.
2. Do not mix old batteries and new batteries or standard (carbon-zinc) with alkaline batteries.
3. Remove exhausted or dead batteries from the product.
4. Remove batteries if product is not to be played with for a long time.
5. Do not short-circuit the supply terminals.
6. RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES: Do not mix these with any other types of batteries. Always remove from the product before recharging. Recharge batteries under adult supervision. DO NOT RECHARGE OTHER TYPES OF BATTERIES.
   Should this product cause, or be affected by, local electrical interference, move it away from other electrical equipment. Reset (switching off and back on again or removing and
   re-inserting batteries) if necessary.

This product and its batteries must be disposed of separately at your local waste recycling center. Do not dispose of them in your household waste bin.

• MAKE A BIG ROAR & SIMBA MAY CHALLENGE YOU TO A ROARING CONTEST!
• SEE WHAT SIMBA DOES WHEN YOU PLAY MUSIC!

FUN & FEEDING

• PET SIMBA’S BACK AND HE MAY MAKE A PLAYFUL BOW AS IF HE’S READY TO POUNCE.
• PET HIM ON THE HEAD FOR FUN REACTIONS!
• GIVE SIMBA HIS TREAT & HE’LL MAKE EATING SOUNDS.
• TRY PETTING HIS BACK WHILE HE’S EATING!

SLEEP MODE

AFTER ABOUT A MINUTE OF NON-ACTIVATION, SIMBA WILL GO TO SLEEP
(BUT IT WON’T SHUT OFF). WAKE HIM UP BY PETTING HIS BACK OR FEEDING HIM HIS TREAT.

POSING

POSE HIS BACK LEGS TO STAND & SIT. (YOU’LL HEAR A SMALL CLICK — THAT’S OKAY!)

TIPS & TROUBLESHOOTING

SIMBA FUNCTIONS BEST INDOORS ON A HARD, FLAT SURFACE. AVOID GRASS
AND HIGH-PILE CARPETING.

IF SIMBA ISN’T RESPONDING PROPERLY, TRY MOVING HIM TO A QUIETER ROOM. IF HE’S STILL UNRESPONSIVE, IT MAY BE TIME TO CHANGE THE BATTERIES.

SURFACE CLEAN ONLY
GENTLY WIPE WITH A DAMP CLOTH.
DO NOT USE DETERGENT OR STAIN REMOVERS. DO NOT GET WET.
