The LifeGoods Video Doorbell is equipped with a camera, motion sensor and night vision. Download the app and keep track of who is ringing your doorbell. The app can be used by up to 8 people.

General

  • Be aware of the risks and consequences resulting from misuse and incorrect installation of the Video Doorbell
  • Misuse and incorrect installation can result in personal injury, or destruction of the Video Doorbell.
  • Use the Video Doorbell only for purposes described in this user manual. If the Video Doorbell malfunctions, is dropped or (appears to be) damaged in any manner, do NOT use it and contact Customer Service.
  • The Video Doorbell is designed and intended for private, non-commercial use only.

Persons and Use

The Video Doorbell can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved. Installing, cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged less than 8 years.

  • The Video Doorbell can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
  • Children shall not play with the appliance.
  • Do NOT install the Video Doorbell or receiver in or near a bath, shower, swimming pool, or over a basin filled with water. Do NOT operate the device with damp or wet hands and do NOT touch the power cord with damp or wet hands. Make sure to prevent any contact with water. Do NOT submerge the Video Doorbell or receiver in water. If water does get inside their casing, turn them off immediately and contact our customer service.
  • Keep the Video Doorbell away from moisture, heat and in or close to areas where the surrounding temperature is relatively hot (e.g. stoves or other sources of heat).
  • Do NOT cover the Video Doorbell or receiver when they ar~ s:vitched on. This poses a risk offire, electric shock or inJury.

Electronics

  • Do NOT reconstruct, repair or disassemble the Video Doorbell or receiver. This can damage the devices.
  • For safety reasons, these parts may only be replaced by authorized service personnel. In order to prevent hazards, always send the Video Doorbell and receiver to the service centre for repairs.
  • Make sure your outlet supplies the correct power voltage to avoid damage to the receiver.

Receiving Your Shipment

When receiving your shipment, make sure that the contents are consistent with the packing list. Notify your distributor of any missing items. If the equipment appears to be damaged, file a claim immediately with the carrier and notify your distributor at once, giving a detailed description of any damage. Save the damaged packing container to substantiate your claim.

Operating Instructions

Installing the App

  1. Download the Aiwit App and create an account.
  2. Open the AiwitApp and log in.
  3. Press”+” to add your camera.
  4. Select “Video Doorbell”.
  5. Press the button on the doorbell unti the red light flashes.
  6. Turn on your 2.4GHz wifi (SG is not supported), enter the wifi password and press “Next”.
  7. Use the camera on the Video Doorbell to scan the OR code displayed on the app. Press “confirm”.

Sharing the Device

Open the Aiwit app. Press the “Share” icon on the home screen. Choose sharing via email or via OR code. you can share the video doorbell with up to 8 people. 3 people can view the video feed, but only 1 user can use the direct intercom. Sharing via email
The new user has to download the Aiwit app and create an account with the same email address the device owner has shared with. Log into the accoundand you will see the share device.

Sharing via QR code

  1.  Open the Aiwit app on the new user’s smartphone.
  2. Press”+” on the homescreen.
  3. Select” QR Code Sharing”, and scan the QR code the device owner generated before.
  4. You will see “Share Successful”. Press “Confirm”.

Installing the Video Doorbell

  • Mark the drill holes on your wall. Use the correct drill to drill the holes. insert the anchors and secure your doorbell with the mounting and security screws.

Installing the Receiver

  1. Make sure that your phone is connected to the Video Doorbell.
  2. Plug in the chime.
  3. Press %
  4. Press the Doorbell Button to pair your doorbell with the chime.
  5. Press J1 and choose one of the 38 sounds.
  6. Press the Doorbell Button again to check if the right tune is selected.

Indicator Light

  1. Indicator light flashes red – The device is reconnecting to  the wifi network.
  2. Indicator light flashes red and blue alternatively – Low battery. Please recharge the batteries.

Charging the Batteries

Resetting the Doorbell

Press the Doorbell for 8 second. Follow the instructions displayed in the app.

Adjusting the Motion Detection Sensitivity

  • Tab the Motion Detection icon on the homescreen of the app.
  • Fast: Records and notifies you of every motion. Shortest battery life.
  • Medium: Records and notifies you of motion less often. Standard battery life.
  • Slow: Records and notifies you of motion even less often. Maximum battery life.

Enabling Notifications on Your Phone

To enable the notifications on your phone, you need to give permission to the Aiwit app to access your microphone and enable notifications.

  1. Open Settings. Go to the Aiwit app permissions and select notifications.
  2. Make sure that all switches are on.

Troubleshooting

Maintenance and Cleaning

  • Clean the Video Doorbell and receiver with a dry, clean cloth. Do not use water or detergents.

Storage

Store the Video Doorbell and receiver in a clean and dry place. Do not store them in extreme high or extreme low temperatures.

Disposal – Recycle

Contribute to a cleaner living environment! Do not dispose of the Video Doorbell with the household waste. For proper recycling, please contact your local authority or
your household waste disposal service for further details on your nearest designated collection point.

Service and Warranty

  • If you need service or information regarding your product, please contact the LifeGoods Customer Support at [email protected]
  • LifeGoods provides a 2 year warranty on its products. To obtain service during the warranty period, the product needs to be returned with a proof of purchase. Product defects have to be reported within 2 years from the date of purchase. This warranty does not cover: damages caused by misuse or incorrect repair; parts subject to wear· defects that the customer was aware of at the time of p~rchase; damages or defects caused by customer neglect; damages or defects caused by third parties.
