Decoration lights
IMPORTANT: Please read the entire instruction manual before using the
product and save for future reference. Do not allow any part to come into
contact with excessive heat or open fire. Make sure the lamps are not covered
and that there is sufficient air circulation around the lamps.
Warning! The bulbs are not replaceable. Do not attempt to replace them.
Do not electrically connect the light string to another light string. In the
event of damage to the light string, throw away the entire product. For
outdoor and indoor use.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS: To set the timer, 1. Press ‘’ON’’, 2. Press ‘’TIMER’’. From the moment you press ‘’TIMER’’, the light string will remain on for 6 hours and off for 18 hours. This cycle repeats until ‘’TIMER’’ is pressed again at another time. To turn off the timer, 1. Press ‘’OFF’’, 2. Press ‘’ON’’. The light string will remain on until you press ‘’OFF’’ again or set the ‘’TIMER’’. To adjust the brightness, press ”-” or ”+”. To adjust the light effect, select one of the 8 modes on the remote control or operate from the battery compartment by pressing the button on the top left of the battery compartment.
BATTERIES: The light string use 3x 1.5V AA batteries (not included). The remote control works on 1x CR2025 3V lithium button cell battery (included).
REPLACING THE BATTERIES: Open de battery compartment. If old batteries are present, remove them. Insert the new batteries into the battery compartment (matching the ‘’+’’ and ‘’-‘’ symbols). Rechargeable batteries may be used. However, rechargeable batteries will not work as long. Close the battery compartment after inserting the batteries. Warning! Always replace all batteries at the same time. Never mix different types of batteries or use new and old batteries together. Never dispose of batteries as domestic waste. Empty or faulty batteries contain substances that are harmful to the environment. Deposit used batteries in the special collection bins or as chemical waste at a waste collection point. Remove empty batteries from the battery compartment as empty batteries are more likely to leak (including leak-proof batteries). If you are not going to use the light string for a long period of time, remove the batteries. Never allow children to replace batteries without proper supervision.
RECYCLING: The product bears the selective sorting symbol for waste electrical and electronic equipment. This means that this product must be handled pursuant to European Directive 2012/19/EU in order to be recycled or dismantled to minimize it’s impact on the environment. For further information, please contact your local authorities. Electronic products not included in the selective sorting process are potentially dangerous for the environment and human health due to the presence of hazardous substances.
PROBLEM SOLVING: If the light string or remote control does not work, do not try to dismantle it and find out or remedy the defect yourself. Please contact hallo@brandfamily.nl.
