PREPARATION BEFORE USE

Move it correctly
Carry the appliance from the bottom, do not pull the door or handle. Keep the appliance at a level position during transportation, donot turn the appliance upside down, and the tilting level cannot be less than 45 degrees. Avoid collision or violent shock. -
Place it correctly
Place the appliance in a dry and ventilated environment. Never place it near heat emitting devices and do not expose it to direct sunlight. The appliance must be at a level position and installed on a firm solid base/floor. Use an adjustable foot to level the appliance. For your personal safety, this appliance must be grounded, do not ground it via a telephone cord or a gas pipe. Behind the appliance, there should be a free space at least 4 inches wide. -
First time use
Clean the appliance thoroughly, especially the interior. Set the thermostat knob at “3″. Check whether the compressor runs after connecting the appliance to the electrical power supply. The temper -ature in the freezer comparment should decrease after 30 minutes. After connecting to the power supply, leave the appliance for 2~3 hours before storing the food.
DEFROST METHOD
Under the small freezer room, there is a drip tray, the ice deposits on the
evaporator will defrost automatically. Defrost water will collect on the drip
tray. The tray can be taken out to pour out the water. Remove all food in the
freezer compartment. Pack the food systematically and put the food in a cool
place. Take away all the accessories and set the thermostat to the “0”
position, or push the middle white button, or cut off the power supply
directly. Then, open the door of the freezer room and use a cloth to clean out
the water and moisture.

The interior of the appliance may need to be cleaned.
Fails to work in winter| The ambient temperature is too low, please turn the
thermostat knob to the “0” position.
Fails to
work in the summer
| The appliance may be overloaded with warm foods.
The thermostat knob may have been set at a high number.
The door may be opened too frequently.
The appliance may have inadequate ventilation.
The door is not properly closed (the door may sag, the gasket may be polluted

Water is leaking| Clear the water in the drip tray on time.
TEMPERATURE SETTING
- The temperature of the refrigerator is controlled by the thermostat (on the right side of freezer room door), which will keep the temperature in a certain range according to the setting.
- The numbers on the thermostat knob represent the position of thermostat, but do not indicate the temperature. “0” means the appliance will stop working. From “1” to “7” the higher the number is, the lower the temperature is. Set the knob from “2” to “4” in summer and “4” to “6” in winter, “3” or “4” is suitable for usual use.
- Press the middle white button, the compressor will stop working and defrost the ice in the small freezer room. The unit will defrost itself and re-start working when the defrost cycle is finished.

Small Freezer Room
The small freezer room is only used for soft freezing food. The temperature is around – 5℉( -21℃), it cannot store food that requires a lower temperature than this level. Before loading the appliance with packages of warm food, make sure that the food is cooled to an ambient temperature. -
Make sure there is sufficient space for ventilation.

It’s easy for use if food is packed individually. Try not to open the door too often to save energy and prevent mixed odors.

The freezer room is not fit for eggs and dairy products.

Store cooked food and fresh food separately.

Refrigerator

The refrigerator compartment is used for storing beverages and foods which do not need to be frozen. Put the foods which need short-time storage and fresh dishes into it.

Do not put watery vegetables into the refrigerator compartment directly, or the water will accelerate the rot of vegetables.

Before loading the appliance with packages of warm food, make sure that the food is cooled to an ambient temperature.

CLEANING

Cleaning the appliance
Interior accessories:
Remove all the brackets, door racks, etc. Use a soft cloth to clean the appliance. -
Door gasket:
The door gasket can be taken off. Clean it with neutral detergent, then install it into the door to its former position. -
Attention items
Clean the appliance every two months to keep both interior and exterior clean. Disconnect the power supply before cleaning, wash it with neutral detergent and then dry it. The door gasket should be cleaned carefully especially if it is contaminated. Cleaning the door gasket can prolong the lifetime of the Do not use hot water, eradicators, acid, basic detergent, fancy soap, petrol, alcohol, organic solvents, or a brush. It’s not allowed to wash the appliance with water directly in order to prevent rusting. Check the plug and power cord whether they are damaged. If you do not intend to use the appliance for long periods of time, disconnect the power supply, take out the food and clean the appliance. Leave the door slightly open, and place the appliance in a dry and ventilated environment.

Noise of compressor when it starts
to work
| It is the normal noise when the compressor is operating, especially when it
starts and shuts down.
It’s wet outside or around the door| There may be slight drips on the surface
of the appliance in drippy days, it’s the same reason as there will be drips
on the surface of a glass of ice water.
The surface of the appliance becomes hot| It’s a normal situation if the
temperature of the rear wall grows when the appliance
starts to work in summer. It does not mean that something is wrong and it has no influence on the appliance.
