PREPARATION

Cookware
Only the cookware with ferromagnetic bottom is suitable for the induction cooking. The suitable cookware can be easily recognised by moving a magnet towards the cookware base. If the magnet is attracted, the cookware is suitable for induction cooking.

Suitable cookware Unsuitable cookware
Fitted with a ceramic layer and an added magnetic layer Ceramic
Stainless with sandwich bottom (with an inserted magnetic layer) Some types

of stainless cookware
Aluminium with a Teflon coat, with an added magnetic layer| Aluminium
Enamel| Glass
Copper with sandwich bottom (with an inserted magnetic layer)| Copper with sandwich bottom (without magnetic layer)
With flat bottom for cookers with flat cooktop| With round bottom (or feet)
With flat bottom (or feet)
With the bottom diameter corresponding to the cooktop diameter (about 12-24 cm)| With the bottom diameter smaller or much larger than the cooktop diameter

Appliance installation and ventilation
  • Place the appliance on a stabile, flat, smooth and dry surface.
  • Never place the appliance on a combustible surface (such as textiles, carpet, etc.).
  • Do not place the induction cooker on a metal surface.
  • Keep the minimum clearance of 10 cm from walls or other objects.
  • Make sure that the power cord is not damaged or pressed under the appliance, and is not lying on sharp edges, hot or wet surfaces.
Meaning of light/sound signals and codes on the display
  • Indicator light is flashing – the required function can be set;
  • Indicator light is steadily lit – the function is on;
  • 1 beep = connection to the mains; switching on; operation confirmation; change in the settings;
  • Beeps every two seconds – cookware has been removed from the cooker; when an error code appears.
OVERHEAT PROTECTION

The induction cooker is equipped with overheating protection function. If the top plate becomes overheated (with empty pot or pan put on it), a long sound signal will sound. It will automatically shut off after several minutes of cooking. Switch off the appliance, disconnect it from electric power and let it cool down.

If overheating occurs, i.e. if you (contrary to operation manual) heat up an empty pot or a pan made from low-quality material with insufficient deformation resistance, the aforementioned protection may not react correctly. The appliance top plate may be irreversibly damaged.

Error codes
Code Problem Solution
E0 No suitable cookware detected Use cookware suitable for induction

cooking. Bottom diameter should be over 12 cm.
E1| Internal temperature sensor malfunction| Please contact the authorised service centre!
E2| Control panel sensor malfunction| Please contact the authorised service centre!
E3| Source voltage is higher than 270 V| Switch off the appliance and disconnect it from electric power. Connect the appliance to a stabile voltage source (230 V).
E4| Source voltage is lower than 140 V| Switch off the appliance and disconnect it from electric power. Connect the appliance to a stabile voltage source (230 V).
E5| Inner temperature is too high| Switch off the appliance and let it cool down before switching it on again.
E6| Thermal fuse automatically stops operation| Check the inlet and outlet ventilation openings to make sure they are not blocked. Let the appliance cool down. If the problem persists, please contact the authorised service centre.
– H –| Temperature on the ceramic plate too high; pot/pan has too high temperature| Wait a few minutes and let the plate or pot/pan cool down

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Plug the power cord into an electric outlet. The appliance will switch to a standby mode (“OFF” will appear on the display). Then put a suitable cookware on the plate centre.
To switch on the appliance, press B1 “ON/OFF” button. “00” and function indicators will start flashing on the display.

POWER function

Start heating by pressing B2 button. The first press will select the heating mode, depending on the set up output power. B9 indicator will light. The display will show the power setup „06“. Select the required power from 01 to 10 using the rotary knob. For levels 1 to 6, cyclic switching is applied to achieve lower output power.

TEMPERATURE control function

There is a temperature sensor underneath the ceramic glass plate to detect the bottom temperature of the cookware put on the top plate. User can set the desired temperature, and the thermostat will adjust the current temperature of the cookware bottom to match the set temperature. Once the set temperature is reached, the heating (power supply) will switch off. If the bottom temperature drops too low, the heating (power supply) will be restored. This mode of operation maintains the temperature within the defined interval (± 20% depending on the cookware in use). The heating mode controlled by the temperature setting may be selected by pressing B2 button again. Temperature will set to 120 °C and B8 indicator will light. Select the desired temperature by the rotary knob in the interval from 60 °C to 240 °C (in increments of 20 °C). To set up the heating timer, press B3 button. B5 indicator will light and the display shows “0:00” (“:” is steadily lit). Turn the knob and select the required cooking time in minutes up to 3 hours (0:01 to 3:00). Confirm the set value by pressing B3 button repeatedly, or wait 5 seconds (“:” will start flashing). After the cooking time is selected, countdown will start. Once the countdown reaches zero, the appliance will automatically shut off.

Note

  • If the time setting needs to be re-adjusted, press and hold for several seconds B3 button
  • this operation will cancel the previous timer setting.
Automatic turn of when lifting away the dish

When the cooking dish is lifted away from the cooking surface, the unit will TURN itself OFF. If the dish is returned back on the surface within 45 sec, the cooking process will resume with the pre-lifting settings. If the dish is NOT returned back within 45 sec, the unit will TURN OFF completelly

Locking the controls

The touch buttons B2 and B3 can be locked by pressing the lock button B4. B6 indicator will light. The lock can be cancelled by holding B4 button for about 3 seconds. Clean the ceramic glass surface and the control panel with a damp cloth and mild detergent for cleaning ceramic glass surfaces. Please prevent scratching the ceramic glass plate by the cookware bottoms. During the cooker service life, some minor scratches may appear on the top plate, which however do not affect the function and safety of the appliance. This fact will not be acknowledged as a reason for filing a claim.

MAINTENANCE

Before any maintenance is performed, disconnect the appliance from the mains by unplugging the power cord from the electrical outlet! Only clean the cooker after the surface has cooled down! Do not use harsh and abrasive cleaning agents!
Wipe the appliance with a damp cloth and dishwashing detergent. Remove dirt from the air inlet grid and fan by a vacuum cleaner.
