  11. While the appliance is working, do not open the glass lid. Yogurt needs fermentation in an anaerobic environment. Hence while making yogurt, cover the lid.
  12. Before adding ingredients, please check expiration and metamorphism. You can increase the frozen pure yogurt proportion according to your taste. Heated milk needs to cool below 40 0C.
  13. Fermentation time will be affected by the environment temperature and the initial temperature of raw materials. So, if the environment temperature is low or when using a refrigerated milk production, the fermentation time should be appropriately extended, but not more than 10 hours.

Control Panel Instructions:.

“Function” Key: Select the function to yogurt or rice wine. Corresponding LED lights up “On/Off” key to start or stop work.

  1. Yogurt Making:
    Press “function” button after power on, select yogurt function, and press “switch” button (working time is 8-10 hours).

  2. Disinfection
    Methods:
    Blanch the container and cover with just boiled water for more than 1 minute to sterilize it.
    Note:
    Sterilize just the container and the cover of the container. Do not use boiling water to blanch the cover and body of the product.

  3. Allocate:
    Method: Mix the raw material into the container according to the following proportion and mix well.

  • Mix proportion 1: Market chilled fresh milk 1900ml + starter or 100ml frozen pure yogurt.
  • Mix proportion 2: Sterile package of pure milk 1900ml + starter or 100ml frozen pure yogurt.
  • Mix proportion 3: Milk made from powdered milk 1900ml + starter or 100ml frozen pure yogurt.
  • Mix proportion 4: Cooked soy milk 1900ml + starter or 100ml frozen pure yogurt. Need 2000ml fresh milk, pure milk, milk made from powdered milk + starter or 50ml frozen pure yogurt prepared products.

Note:

  1. Please check whether the above ingredients are expired or deteriorated before adding.
  2. The amount of lactic acid bacteria fermentation agent added shall follow the instructions of the fermentation agent.
  3. When brewing milk powder, please make it according to the proportion of the market milk powder label or the proportion of 500ml milk powder + 1500ml water.
  4. Must wait for boiling soya-bean milk or milk powder to reach cooling temperature below 40 0C, before adding the lactic acid bacteria starter or plain yogurt.

Advice:

First choice is using active lactobacillus starter as the source of fermentation. If you cannot buy the starter, you can use commercially sold plain yogurt or the last prepared plain yogurt as the source of fermentation.

Rice wine making

Tips:
The key to making rice wine is to keep everything clean and free from raw water and oil, or it will become moldy and hairy. You the scoops, the containers and the cover of the containers.

Rice preparation

Method 1:
Rinse the glutinous rice with cold water 2-3 times, soak in cold water for about 24 hours (to change the water every 8 hours during the soaking process), then rinse again 2 to 3 times with clean water. If the rice is too dry or not fully cooked, sprinkle a little water on the rice to steam again.
Tips:

Method 2:
Rinse the rice with cold water 2-3 times, and then cooked. Rice should not cook too dilute. Rice which can be scattered after cooking is suitable. Then scatter the cooked rice and cool till warm (about 35 0C).
Method 3:
Scatter the leftovers rice (the rice is slightly harder) and cool to warm (about 35 0C).

Cleaning and disinfection

Method:
Clean the containers and lid used to make rice wine, especially the containers free from any oil. Blanch the containers and lid with boiled water for more than 1 minute to sterilize it.

Mix distiller’s yeast

Put the cooled rice into a sterilized container, and about 200ml of cold drinking water to stir evenly and then disperse the distiller’s yeast with a little bit of cold drinking water (Just need a little bit of water, enough to disperse the distiller’s yeast), put into the rice and stir evenly, Dig a round hole in the middle of the rice (500g glutinous rice or rice, need about 200ml (about 200g) cold drinking water). If the rice is too hard after cooling, put more cold water. If too soft after cooling, place less cold drinking water; The amount of the distiller’s yeast can be adjusted according to the instructions on the packaging of the distiller’s yeast. “ON/OFF” (working time is 36-40 hours)

The Fermentation

Methods:
Cover the lid of container that with the prepared raw materials and put them into the fermentation Jar of yogurt machine. Close the top cover and switch on the power, selecting rice wine function.
Tips:
In summer, when the indoor temperature is higher than 35 degrees, the root enzyme of sweet wine cannot survive, which will seriously affect the quality of sweet wine. It is recommended not to make sweet wine.

Refrigerate

When sweet wine is finished, it is recommended t consume it in time. If you can’t finish it in a day, keep it in the refrigerator or freezer.

Clean, storage and maintenance

  1. After the maker finishes working, pull out plug, let it completely cooled then start work again. You can clean the glass jars and lids in the water or dishwasher. The body can be wiped with a wet towel.
  2. The yogurt maker must be cleaned in time after using it, to prevent smell.
  3. Don’t use gasoline, household cleanser, hard brush, stainless steel wire ball to wipe the body.
  4. The main body can only be wiped with wet towel. Do not put in the water or faucet.
  5. Please keep the yogurt maker clean and stored in packaging, when not used for long. Avoid the direct ultraviolet radiation and store in the ventilated and dry place to protected it from dampness.

Problems and solutions

  1. Indicator light or digital tube doesn’t work.
    • Is there no power or power goes out?
    • Is the power cord inserted in the socket?
    • Whether the power socket is closed?
  2. The milk doesn’t ferment to yogurt after the yogurt maker finished working.
    • Is the ferment time too short?
    • Is the indoor temperature and milk temperature too low?(if temperature is to low, it will need more time on the fermentation).
    • Is the milk polluted?
    • Whether the starter cultures have lost activity?
  3. The yogurt has peculiar smell after finish.
    • Is the fermentation time too long?
    • Is the milk you buy or the starter cultures out of date or has gone bad?
