  • Remove and discard all packaging materials and stickers before first use in order to avoid choking hazard for young children.
  • Dispose the protective cover fitted on the power plug.
  • This appliance is for household only. The hand mixer is intended for food or drinks preparation. Do not use for anything other than food or drinks.
  • Not intended for commercial or industrial purposes.
  • Do not use it in motor vehicles or boats.
  • Do not use the hand mixer outdoors, and do not use it for anything other than its intended use. Misuse can cause injury.
  • Continuous supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
  • This appliance can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.
  • Use appliance away from any edge, being a countertop or table.
  • Ensure the working surface is level, clean and free of water and other substances.
  • Avoid placing appliance adjacent to a hot gas or electric burner, or where it could touch a heated oven or surface.
  • Do not allow the cord to hang over the edge of a countertop, or to become knotted.
  • Do not immerse or wet the cord, plug or motor base in water or other liquids.
  • If any part of the appliance has been wet, ensure that the device is disconnected from the power source and dry with a lint free cloth.
  • In case of malfunction, switch off and disconnect immediately and request a professional to confirm suitability of operation.
  • Do not attempt to operate the device if this has not been professionally confirmed suitable for operation.
  • Do not attach an external switching device (such as a timer) or connect the hand mixer to a circuit that can regularly switch the hand mixer on and off.
  • Once used, the device should be disconnected and stored in a safe place.
  •  Fully unwind the power cord before operation.
  • Do not operate appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after appliance malfunctions, or if dropped or damaged in any way. Immediately cease use of the appliance and request examination from a professional. Similarly operate only if the damage has been repaired and qualified by the appropriate professional.
  • Always ensure the attachments are assembled properly and fitted securely before using. For reference on attachment procedures and requirements, please refer to the relevant section in this manual.
  • Using the appliance without being properly assembled may cause product malfunction, product damage or pose safety risk including personal injury.
  • If the motor is straining under a heavy load, do not operate continuously.
  • Allow the motor to rest between uses on heavy loads.
  • Refer to preparation guideline chart to understand the capability of the device and how long this can operate for.
  • The device should be hand operated only. Do not attempt to fix the operating switch to run continually. Any irregular attempt will justify the requirement to damage the appliance and the possibility of injury.
  • When operating the hand mixer, use a small aperture, container to reduce the likelihood of contact with the beaters/hooks or whisks and reduce spillages.
  • When in operation avoid any contact with beaters/hooks or whisks.
  • Remove beaters, hooks and whiskers from mixer before washing.
  • Keep hands, fingers, hair, spatulas, utensils, jewellery and clothing away from the hand mixer during operation to reduce the risk of injury to persons, or damage to the mixer.
  •  Always turn hand mixer off and unplug at the wall before assembling any component and reaching the rotating component.
  • Mishandling of the beaters/hooks or whisks may cause injury.
  • Do not remove any attachment from the motor base while hand mixer is in use.
  • Attention when handling hot foods. Allow food to cool before processing.
  • Never attempt to operate with damaged attachments.
  • To reduce the risk of severe injury to persons or damage to the hand mixer, keep hands and utensils away from the rotating end while operating.
  • Cleaning or dislodging should be done with plug removed from power supply and motor completely stationary.
  • Before moving the hand mixer, cleaning or putting it away for storage, always turn hand mixer off and unplug at the wall.
  • Strictly observe the stated product capability. Failing to follow this instruction may cause personal injury or damage to the device.
  • Never use attachments or accessories that are not supplied with this product. Failing to follow this instruction may cause product malfunction,product damage or even pose safety risk.
  •  To avoid electric shocks, never use the appliance with wet hands or on a wet or moist surface.
  • Avoid getting the appliance’s electrical components wet and never immerse it in water.
  • Always unplug the appliance when you have finished using it, when you clean it or if there is a power outage.

PRECAUTIONS FOR USE

  • To avoid accidents, make sure that your hair, clothes and other objects do not get caught in the unit’s moving parts.
  • Do not touch the beaters or mixers and do not insert any object (knife, fork, spoon, etc.), so as not to get injured, cause accidents to others or damage the appliance. You may use a spatula once the product is no longer in operation.
  • To avoid damaging the appliance, never place it and its accessories in a freezer, traditional oven or microwave.
  • The accessories are designed for preparing food products. Do not use them for any other products.
  • Do not leave the appliance connected to the power supply before assembly, disassembly or cleaning and when you move away from it, even for just a few moments, especially when children are around.

  • Plug is polarised, meaning it fits only one way, as one blade is wider than the other
  • If plug does not fit properly contact an electrical professional
  • Do not remove ground prong
  • Do not use an adapter

  • Use of extension cords may be used if care is exercised in their use.
  • If a longer detachable power-supply cord set or extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the applianc
  • The cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or table top where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally.
  • Failure to follow these instructions can result in death, fire or electrical shock.

USE

  • Push the beaters into slots, slightly turning until locking into proper position.
  •  Immerse the beaters into products mixture.
  • Plug the mixer into the wall socket.
  • Slide the speed control switch to the desired speed.
  • When the desired consistency is reached, slide the speed control switch to “0” position. Wait until the beaters stops and unplug mixer.
  •  Press beater release button and remove the beaters.
  • To avoid splashing, place the beaters or dough hooks inside the batter before operating the appliance.

NOTE: Set the speed depending on type of food. Always start to work at low speed, and then gradually increase it as the mixture during processing becomes thicker.
CAUTION: When inserting the dough hooks, remember that the rod with the large washer should be inserted to the right-hand slot, and the one with the small washer into the left-hand slot. This is to avoid the risk of the ingredients spilling over the rim of the utensils/receptacle.

MIXING GUIDE

SPEED DESCRIPTION
1 This is a good starting speed for mixing dry foods.
2 Best speed to start mixing liquid ingredients, salad dressings.
3 For mixing cakes, cookies and breads.
4 For creaming butter and sugar, beating uncooked candy, desserts, etc.
5 For beating eggs, cooking icings, whipping potatoes, whipping cream. Etc.

To prevent the motor from overheating, do not work continuously longer then 10 minutes. Stop for 10 min and let it cool down to room temperature.

CLEANING

  • Always unplug the unit from the power supply before cleaning.
  • Wash beaters with warm soapy water and then dry.
  • Clean the body with a damp cloth and never wash or spill mixer with water.
  • Do not use the abrasive cleaners, metal brushes and sponges, organic solvents or aggressive liquids

STORAGE

If necessary, move it to a position which is out of reach of children and pets.
