TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem | Possible Cause | Possible Solution |
---|---|---|
Grill will not light. | The distance between the ignition pin and the burner is |
greater than 5/32 inch
– 3/16 inch.
| Loosen the ignition pin and adjust the distance, then fasten it again.
The electrode tip does not produce sparks at the burner port.| Reinstall the
electrode.
No gas supplied.| Turn on the regulator valve.
Burner blows out.| Gas cylinder is empty.| Change the gas cylinder.
Gas supply is not
sufficient.
| Check the gas supply hose and make sure there are no leaks and no knots.
Low heat with the knob in
“HIGH” position.
| Gas cylinder is empty.| Change the gas cylinder.
Low heat
(caused by the gas pipe system)
| The LPG regulator assembly incorporates an excess flow device designed to supply the grill with sufficient gas flow.
Rapid changes in pressure can trigger the excess flow device, providing
a low flame and low
temperature.
| Follow these instructions:
• Make sure all burners
are “OFF”.
• Open the tank valve
and wait 5 minutes.
• Light the burner one at a time following the lighting instructions listed on the door liner.
