HOW TO CLEAN
After each use, simply brush off any hair that remained on the blades before spraying them with a multipurpose disinfectant.
HOW TO MAINTAIN CLIPPER ATTACHMENTS
Don’t use any attachments that you haven’t removed. Remove as much hair and dirt from your clippers as you can with a cleaning brush. To remove any remaining hair and avoid cross-contamination, use an antibacterial clipper spray. Before wiping clean, let the spray sit for the amount of time specified on the can.
HOW TO STORE CLIPPERS
While you can store your clipper with a blade still attached, it may be advisable to remove the blades and wrap them in an oiled towel to avoid rusting. Spraying your blades with the Andis 5-in-1 cooling spray before storing them will provide them extra protection because it has rust- preventative qualities.
HOW TO KEEP CLIPPERS SHARP
- If you were using a comb attachment, remove it first before removing the blade from your clippers.
- To remove fur from between the teeth, use a toothbrush, paintbrush, or something similar. You can also use an old, soft towel without loops.
- Reinstall the blade on your clipper.
- Apply oil, then continue to trim!
HOW TO REMOVE RUST FROM CLIPPER BLADES
Simply combine three parts baking soda with one part water in a bowl, then use a toothbrush or some steel wool to scrub the paste into the rust. To remove the rust, rinse the blade in warm water. Another fantastic rust remover is white vinegar.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the wattage of a Clipper?****
Internally, the device employs a quite heavy lubricant that takes some time to warm up. The Model 10 will need close to 60 watts to run during this warm-up phase before progressively dropping to 50 watts and settling in at just under 40 watts (its specification) as it loosens up.
How frequently should my clippers be oiled?****
By lubricating them, you may reduce friction that can dull the blade, avoid overheating, and keep your clippers sharper for longer. While oiling your clipper blades is not required after each usage, you should establish a pattern of doing so every two uses.
Why won’t my hair clippers cut?****
Apply two drops of clipper oil to the blades and test cut again as soon as your blades begin to pull hair. (Oil lubricates the blades so they can cut effectively and run at the proper pace. The clipper runs cooler as a result.
How durable are clipper blades?****
Depending on usage, clipper manufacturers often advise professional groomers to replace their blade drive every 1-3 months.
What does wattage mean?****
The number of watts your appliance requires to remain operational is known as its running (or rated) wattage. For instance, a refrigerator usually requires 500 watts to operate.
Do Watts Have an Hourly Rating?****
A Watt Hour is a unit of power measurement over time (an hour), or in our instance, a capacity measurement method. One Watt of average power flow per hour is equal to one Watt per hour. Four Watt Hours of electricity would be equivalent to one Watt over four hours.
What occurs if hair clippers aren’t cleaned?****
You’ll have harsh, uneven haircuts since they won’t cut your hair properly. They will also become dirty if you don’t clean them frequently. This could potentially infect your skin and irritate it (red patches, pimples, etc.). There is no justification for having unclean tools or a messy shop as a professional.
What things ought to you look for when inspecting clippers?****
The blades on all equipment must be inspected and kept clean. Are clippers harmful to hair?****

Simply put, the hair sits better. Additionally, getting a haircut is a peaceful experience because scissors are plainly quieter than clippers.
Why do the lines left by my clippers on my hair?****
“If your clipper swipes are too lengthy, you’ll end up with track markings toward the ends of your passes, and if your strokes are too short, you’ll wind up with a jagged look.”
Why am I getting cut by my clippers?****
When that happens, it usually has to be sharpened or adjusted. Many of the more inexpensive trimmers lack adjustment screws, but this is because there is a space between the stationary blade and the blade that goes back and forth. If there are screws on top, you should slightly tighten them.
What sort of clipper oil do you use?****
According to a Quora hair clipper expert, any light carrier oil would do the trick. Make sure it can tolerate high temperatures because the friction created by the blades generates heat. They advise utilizing a generic brand of olive oil.

How can you prevent clipper blade rust?****
