Product Description
The ED9HB / ED9HW is a fan designed for general indoor domestic use. It
features a stable base and oscillating function. The fan has grills at the
front and rear to ensure proper air circulation. Please note that the images

NOTE : Over time, the grills at the front and rear of the appliance will build up dust & dirt. This should be cleaned regularly to maintain optimum efficiency. Follow the cleaning procedure within this instruction.

Button Cell Battery Warning
WARNING : The remote control is powered by a Lithium Button Cell Battery.
- WARNING – KEEP BATTERIES OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN
- Swallowing may lead to serious or fatal injury in as little as 2 hours, due to chemical burns and potential perforation of the esophagus.
- Never allow children to replace the button batteries of any device. Used and new batteries are hazardous and must be kept out of reach of children.
- If you suspect your child has swallowed or inserted a button battery, seek immediate medical attention.
- If you are in the US immediately call the National Poison Control Center at 1-800-222-1222 or 202-625-3333.
- In Canada call 416-813-5900.
- Regularly examine devices and make sure the battery compartment is correctly secured, e.g. that the screw or other mechanical fastener is tightened. Do not use if the compartment is not secure.
- Dispose of used button batteries immediately and safely out of the reach of children. A battery can still be dangerous even when it can no longer operate the device.

Operation
REMOTE CONTROL
Control Panel
Connect the unit to the power outlet (120V~ 60Hz).
Press the buttons on the control panel as follows:
- POWER: Press the button to turn the appliance for a ready-to-use state.
- SPEED: Fan speed: Lo (1), Mid (2), Hi (3), Super Hi (4).
- MODE: Press the button to choose Normal, Natural (NAT), or Sleep (SLE) mode.
- TIMER: Press the button to activate the timer function (1h -2h-…– 7h). OSC (left and right): Press the button to activate or deactivate the auto oscillation left and right of the fan.
OSC(up and down): Press the button to activate or deactivate the auto oscillation up and down of the fan.
Cleaning and Maintenance
- Always unplug the product from the wall socket before cleaning.
- Do not use an abrasive sponge, scouring pads or stiff brush to clean the appliance.
- Please be cautious when cleaning the product near to the motor housing area.
- Occasionally wipe the exterior surfaces with a damp cloth.
- In the unlikely event of the appliance malfunctioning, it should be taken to the nearest authorized service center.
- Do not allow the motor or other electrical components to be exposed to water.
- For proper storage, always place the fan in a low-humidity environment.
Cleaning the Fan Blade
- Firstly, loosen the three screws which are on the rear cover then remove the front guard by turning anti-clockwise.
- To remove the fan blade for clean up rotate the blade knob clockwise.
- Dry thoroughly before reassembling.
You must retain these instructions, proof of purchase as well as other
important documents about this product for future reference. Due to continual
