SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  •  Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the rating of the appliance before operating.
  •  Use handles or knobs when moving. Place on a flat stable surface for use. Do not use outdoors.

  •  To remove plug from outlet, do not pull on supply cord. Grasp plug firmly and pull to remove.

  •  This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote control system.

  •  If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
  •  Please according to local regulations regarding disposal of the appliance for its flammable blowing gas.
  •  Do not store explosive substances such as aerosol cans with a flammable propellant in this appliance.
  •  Fill with potable water only.
  •  This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

This appliance contains the coolant isobutane (R600a),a natural gas which is environmentally friendly. Although it is flammable, it does not damage the ozone layer and does not increase the greenhouse effect. The use of this coolant has,however,led to a slight increase in the noise level of the appliance. In addition to the noise of the compressor,you might be able to hear the coolant flowing around the system. This is unavoidable,and does not have any adverse effect on the performance of the appliance. Care must be taken during the transportation and setting up of the appliance that no parts of the cooling system are damaged. Leaking coolant can damage the eyes.

WARNING

  •  Keep ventilation openings in the unit housing free of obstacles.
  •  Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.
  •  Do not use any mechanical devices or other means to accelerate the defrosting process or the ice recovery process.
  •  Do not use other types of electrical appliances inside the ice cube machine.

Special Notes

  •  When positioning the unit, make sure that the power cord is not pinched or damaged.
  •  Make sure that there are no multiple sockets or power supplies on the back of the unit.

To avoid contamination of food, please follow the instructions below:

  •  Regularly clean surfaces that may come into contact with food. Clean the water drain regularly.
  •  If the appliance contains a water tank, clean it if it has not been used for 48 hours. Rinse the tank if no water has been removed for 5 days.

WARNING
When using, servicing and disposing of the unit, pay attention to the left symbol on the rear of the unit or on the compressor. This symbol warns of possible fi res. There are fl ammable substances in the refrigerant lines and in the compressor. Keep the appliance away from sources of fi re during use, maintenance and disposal.

Control Panel (both items)

START Press to turn unit on.
STOP Press to turn unit off.
SELECT Ice size selection (S) Small or (L) Large. ) The default setting is

Large.

ADD WATER

| If this comes on press STOP, add water and press START to restart the Ice maker.

ICEFULL

| If this light comes on the ice has reached the maximum capacity of

the storage cabinet.

USE AND OPERATION

Before first Use

  •  During transportation, the incline angle of the cabinet should not be over 45°. Do not turn the Ice maker upside down,as this may damage the compressor and sealed system.
  •  Remove all packing material and carefully check your ice maker to ensure it is in good condition and that there is no damage to the ice maker or power cord and plug.
  •  The ice maker should be placed horizontally on a level surface.To ensure proper ventilation for your ice ma- ker allow 150 mm of space at the top, the back and on each side. Do not install the Ice maker near an oven, radiator, or any other heat source. Before using the Ice maker for the first time, please wait 2 hours after positioning it, and keep the front lid open for at least 2 hours
  •  Ensure that the voltage indicated on the ice maker corresponds with the voltage in your home.
  •  Pure water is not allowed to be used on this unit, spring water is recommended.

Operation

  1.  If filling water by manual (10029294), take out of the ice basket,then add water to the tank directly,please make sure the water is not over the MAX line. If filling water automatically (10029295),connect the external water pipe at back of unit with the water tape as follows.
  2.  Plug in.
  3.  Select desired ice cube size by pressing “SELECT”. Note: Please select the (S) when ambient temperature is below 15 °C.
  4.  Press “START” button to turn unit on. The ice maker begins to work. Note: For the first three cycles,the ice may be small and irregular in size,and it would last for longer time,maybe even around 60 minutes.
  5.  If indicator ‚ICEFULL‘ is in red with noise ‚DI DI‘,please take out the ice with the scoop.
  6.  Press ‚STOP‘ button to stop the machine.
  7.  Remove the drain plug to drain remaining water from the water reservoir. Screw the drain plug back in place after the water has been drained.

CLEANING AND CARE

  •  Clean the inner liner, water box, ice shovel and evaporator frequently. When cleaning, unplug the unit and remove the ice cubes. Use a diluted solution of water and vinegar to clean the inside and the outside surface of the Ice maker. Do not spray Ice maker with chemicals or diluted agents such as acids, gasoline or oil. Rinse thoroughly before starting.
  •  Keep ventilation openings in the appliance enclosure, or in the built-in structure, clear of obstruction. Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate the defrosting process, other than those recommen- ded by the manufacturer.
  •  If the machine is reused after a long time , maybe the water pump cannot pump sufficient water due to the air inside, the ADD WATER water indicator light will turn on in this case . To correct this press the START button again, then the machine will work normally.
  •  To ensure the cleanliness of the ice cubes, water in the water reservoir should be replaced every 24 hours.
  •  If the compressor stops for any reason such as water shortage, too much Ice, power off, etc… Do not start the system right away, wait 3 minutes, and then re-start the Ice maker.
  •  Always change with fresh water before starting ice production at initial installation or after long shut-off periods.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Please note, if the water filled to the evaporator is not symmetrical, small sundries maybe be formed and lod- ged in the pipe which will mean that water will be filled to the evaporator causing it to jam. Please pull out the cap of the pipe, then let the water through the pipe in order to clean the pipe, then you can replace the cap. It will make formal ice cubes.

Problem Possible Cause Solution
The compressor works abnormally with a buzzing noise. The voltage is lower
than recommended. Stop the Ice maker and do not restart until the voltage is

normal.
The light of ADD WATER is on.| There is no water or water is not enough.| Press the “STOP” button, fill with water, and press the “START” button again to restart.
Indicator light on the display is not on.| Control panel wire line is loosen.| Call for service.
Control panel is broken.
The water is flowing,ice is made,however no release of ice.| Temperature sensors are connected by mitake.| Call for service.
Everything is correct but no ice is made.| Refrigerant leaks.| Call for service.
Cooling system blocked.
Spray pipe jammed.| Step 1: Take down the spray pipe from the evaporator.

Step 2: Take off the pipe plug from the spray pipe.

Step 3: Let water flow from the pipe for a while. Fix the spray pipe from step 3 to step 1.
