SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

The appliance is only for household and indoor use.
Check the voltage indicated on the rating plate.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
Unplug the power plug before cleaning or repairing the product.
Do not touch the power cord with wet hands to avoid the risk of electric shock.
Do not pull the cord when unplug the power plug.
Do not bend the power cord or place heavy objects on it.
Never insert wood sticks, metal sticks and other objects into the air inlet and outlet,it may lead to current leakage, short circuit and product damage.
Do not spray insecticides or flammable sprays around the product, it may cause damage to the product.
Avoid direct blowing to children for long time, it may lead to child sickness or affect the health.
Make sure that no foreign matter is adhered to the power plug and insert the plug completely.
Exception handling: If there is any peculiar smell or abnormal sound when using the product, stop it immediately and disconnect the power.
Do not tilt or impact the device when placing or moving it after filling water, in order to prevent water spilling. If the product has ever inclined and there is water inside, immediately pull out the plug, and dry 24 hours before starting again.
The water level of the tank must not exceed the maximum level. When the cooling or humidification function is turned on, the water level shouldn’t be lower than the minimum level.
When the tank is filled with water, do not lift the product by holding the handle, or else the water in the tank will overflow. Please push the handle. If there is no water or little water in the tank, you can hold the handle to lift the device.
During humidification, do not remove the air filter and wet curtain bracket. It may cause water droplets ejection from air outlet.
Do not turn the blades with hands, or else it will damage the synchronous motor.
If you go out or the device will not be used for a long time, turn it off and unplug the power cord from the outlet.
In case of fault, please deliver it to the maintenance station or notify after-sales service centre. Don’t dismantle or replace parts arbitrarily, as it may cause safety problems.
Do not ingest battery, Chemical Burn Hazard.
This product contains a coin / button cell battery. If the coin / button cell battery is swallowed, it can cause severe internal burns in just 2 hours and can lead to death.
Keep new and used batteries away from children.
If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product and keep it away from children.
If you think batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention.
The batteries contain materials, which are hazardous to the environment. they must be removed from the appliance before it is scrapped and that they are disposed of safely.
Be aware that high humidity levels may encourage the growth of biological organisms in the environment.
Do not permit the area around the humidifier to become damp or wet. If dampness occurs, turn the output of the humidifier down. If the humidifier output volume cannot be turned down, use the humidifier intermittently. Do not allow absorbent materials, such as carpeting, curtains, drapes, or tablecloths, to become damp.
Never leave water in the reservoir when the appliance is not in use.
Empty and clean the humidifier before storage. Clean the humidifier before next use.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Slot the two bases front and rear together and push into place.
Thread the power cable through the groove on the base so the power cable runs to the rear of the unit..
Position the tower fan to the fan base slots and turn into place, Spin the plastic buckles to fix the base on the tower fan.
The unit is ready for use.

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS

Place the tower fan on a stable flat surface. Plug the power cable into a 220V-240V~ electrical outlet.
ON/OFF: Turn the FAN on by pressing the ‘ON/OFF’ button, turn the FAN off by pressing the ‘ON/OFF’ button again.
When switched on, the unit will first operate in low speed, normal mode.
SPEED: You can adjust the fan speed to the desired level: Low, Medium, or High by pressing ’SPEED’ button.
MODE: Pressing the ‘MODE’ button will set the FAN into NORMAL,NATURAL or SLEEP mode.
a. Normal mode: The fan operates in normal function at the selected speed without change.
b. Natural mode: The fan motor will run to the pre-programmed procedure to work irregularly, the speed runs through continuous cycles low – medium – high.
c. Sleep mode: When you select the sleep mode at low speed, the device operates continuously at low speed.
When you select the sleep mode at medium speed, the unit will operate at medium speed for around half of an hour, and then the unit will operate at low speed.
When you select the sleep mode at high speed, the unit will operate at high speed for around half of an hour, then operate on medium speed for another half of an hour, and then change to low speed.
TIMER: Press this button to set the running time of the fan. The fan can be adjusted from 1 hour to 12 hours. Pressing the button once will set the timer at 1 hour, press the button twice and the timer will set at 2 hours and so on until a maximum of 12 hours can be set.
SWING: Press this button once to start the Swing function, press a second time to stop the Swing function.

DEVICE CONTROL BY SMARTPHONE

If you integrate the device into your home WiFi, you can conveniently operate it via the associated Klarstein app. The app not only allows you to remotely control the device via your smartphone, but also gives you access to recipes and additional information.

Follow these steps to connect your smartphone to your Klarstein device:

Download the Klarstein app first by scanning the QR code with your smartphone (see below), or download it directly from App Store or Google Play.
Make sure your smartphone is connected to the same WiFi network that your Klarstein device is to be connected to.
Open the Klarstein app.
Sign in to your account. If you do not have an account, sign up in the Klarstein app.
Follow the instructions from the app.

Use the scan function of your smartphone to scan the QR code and save the app on your smartphone.

Note: The app provides further information on how to use the app and help on how to connect to your device as soon as you open it for the first time.

Troubleshooting connection problems

If your Klarstein device cannot be found in the WLAN, check the following:

Is the device plugged in?
Is the WiFi feature of my phone enabled?
Is the WiFi function of the Klarstein device activated? (Follow the instructions in the app)
Has the WLAN password been entered correctly?
Are the router, Klarstein device and smartphone in the immediate vicinity during the connection attempt? (Ideally no more than 5 m apart)
If you have deactivated the 2.4 GHz band in the settings of your wireless router,activate it in your router settings.

Note: For further help, follow the instructions in the app when setting up the connection.

MAINTENANCE

Please remove the battery if the remote is not in use for long period.
Store the remote control in a safe place when not in use.

Cleaning and storage

Unplug the fan before cleaning.
Use only a soft cloth to gently wipe the fan clean.
DO NOT immerse the fan in water and never allow water to drip into the motor housing.
For storage, clean the fan carefully as instructed and store your fan in a cool dry place

DISPOSAL CONSIDERATIONS
