Safety information
Please read and understand this entire manual before attempting to assemble, operate or install the product.

FEATURES

Wireless thermometer with 500ft (152m) range. Celsius and Fahrenheit settings.

Connecting the Probes

Insert each probe plug firmly into the four available ports (see Fig.1). The screen will display the current temperature of each probe. If no probe is inserted, the temperature display for that port will read “—” (see Fig. 2). If the probe connector is not inserted into the transmitter completely,the temperature display for that port will read “Err”.

Powering ON/OFF
Receiver
Press for 2 seconds to turn on the device. It will beep and the screen will be backlit for 10 seconds before the light automatically turns off. Press any button
to wake up the backlight. When the device is on, press for 2 seconds to turn off.

Transmitter

  1. Press for 2 seconds to turn on the device. When the device is on, press for 2 seconds to turn off.
  2. Turn off the transmitter base and the wireless thermometer when not in use.
  3. The device will automatically power off if all of the following conditions are met at the same time.
  4. Timer is not on.
  5. Current temperature must be lower than 50°C/122°F.
  6. No operations within 10 minutes.
  7. The temperature does not change more than 3°C/5.4°F in 10 minutes.

Pairing Transmitter and Receiver
Normally, there is no need to synchronize the transmitter and receiver as this is done during manufacturing. You only need to turn on the transmitter and receiver and wait for 12 seconds to see the real-time temperature displayed on the transmitter and receiver.
However, in some special cases, if the transmitter and receiver are not synchronized, the following steps can be used to pair the transmitter and receiver.

  • With the transmitter and receiver powered on, press and hold the button “M” on receiver to enter MATCH mode. The receiver will beep once and the symbol will be displayed.

  • At the same time, press the button “M” on transmitter to send the matching signal. When the receiver receives the signal, the icon will flash 3 times and beep
    2 times to confirm they have connected successfully, the signal on the transmitter temperature screen will stop flashing, and the receiver will display the received temperature.

  • If syncing is unsuccessful, repeat the above steps.
    Note: When synchronizing, the transmitter and receiver must not be farther than 3′ (1 m) apart. Each transmitter and receiver may only make one pairing.

Backlight

Press any button while powered ON to illuminate the backlight.

Select Language

Long press button to switch between English and French.

Select Probe

Short press to rotate your selection between probe 1, 2, 3, or 4.

°C / °F Temperature Display.
Fast press the transmitter power button 2 times in one second to switch between Fahrenheit or Celsius. The selected temperature unit will display in the receiver at the same time.

Select Meat Type
Short press to select the type of meat. Each press will change the display in the following sequence for each probe (see Fig. 3 and Fig. 4). The default meat type is BEEF . If no button is pressed for 5 seconds, the current meat type will be displayed.

Select Taste Level

Short press to select the doneness level: WELL, M-WELL, MEDIUM,  M-RARE, RARE. The default TASTE is WELL. DONENESS TEMPERATURE CHART

Manually Set Target Temperature

Set target temperature in cooking mode.
In cooking mode, press or button to enter USER mode, then press or to increase or decrease the temperature until your target temperature appears on the LCD screen. Press and hold the or button to rapidly increase or decrease temperature setting. The cooking alerts will sound when the meat has reached to the target temperature. Press the MEAT or TASTE button the return to the MEAT display screen.
10.2 BBQ Mode Set the temperature range of your BBQ / Smoker.
Only probe 4 has this function and is used to track the temperature of your BBQ unit. Short press button to select P4. Press MEAT button to select BBQ mode, then press TASTE to enter BBQ mode. If no button is pressed for 5 seconds, will the display will return to the last meat type. In BBQ mode, set the Low temperature first; default temperature is 150°C/302°F. Press TASTE to set the Low temperature: press or to increase or decrease the temperature; holding down / will rapidly increase or decrease temperature setting. Once the target Low temperature appears on the screen, press TASTE to confirm. Select High temperature setting next; default temperature is 200°C/392°F. Press or to increase or decrease the temperature; holding down / will rapidly increase or decrease temperature setting.
Press TASTE again to confirm the setting.The Low and High temperatures are set. The display will stop flashing and will exit the Low and High temperature setting mode. The display of the Low and High temperature will alternate every 10 seconds. When the Low/High temperature alert sounds, it will display the unreached temperature. When the alert is canceled, the Low and High temperature will switch to display every 10 seconds again.
Note: The Low set temperature cannot be greater than or equal to the High set temperature.

Count-up / Count-down Timer

=down =up =Start / Stop =Hour =Minute
Long press “MODE” for 2 seconds to select the Timer function. Press H to set the Hour; and press M to set the Minutes.To set the Count-up/Count-down timer, select the H or M and press / . Holding down on the / for 2 seconds will quickly set the desired time. If no count-down time is set, press button to count
up. To clear timer, press button to pause count-down or count-up. Once paused, press and buttons at the same time to reset to zero. Once a count-down has finished, the unit will beep. To silence the alert press any button. To go back to cooking interface, long press “MODE” for 2 seconds to go back to temperature function.

Charging Function
Units include rechargeable lithium batteries. Recharge when the battery icon shows a low battery charge. Remove the silicone cap from the charging contacts, put the receiver into the transmitter, make sure the charging points are well connected, and insert the USB cable into a type-C port. Ensure the adaptor has a standard output of 5 V. When charging, the battery icon will show as below.

Care and Maintenance

Unplug stainless steel meat probe from transmitter base. Hand wash stainless steel meat probe ONLY using mild soap and warm water. Rinse thoroughly. Dry completely with a soft cloth.

Caution
Stainless steel meat probe and probe wire will become extremely hot during use. Remove probe from meat by using a glove and allow to cool. Do not touch hot probe with bare hands. The meat probe has a functional sharp point, take extreme care when handling or during use. Clean and store in a safe place immediately after use. Do not leave on the cooking surface or subject to extreme heat. Do not use on uncooked meats to prevent food contamination.
IP rating for the transmitter is IPX5 when cover the silicone cap on the charging pad.
IP rating for the receiver is IPX4.
Please store indoors when not in use.

Warning
The unit has rechargeable lithium battery included. Do not dispose of the battery or unit in a fire. Batteries may explode or leak. Swallowing a battery may lead to serious injury or death. In the event of such incident, seek medical attention immediately.
Batteries must be recycled or disposed of properly. Dispose of as per the requirements of your local municipality.

Troubleshooting

Current temperature does not appear on LCD upon powering ON.

Interference

|

Place wireless thermometer close to transmitter base.

Turn both units OFF and ON until a connection is established.

Current temperature does not appear on LCD during use.

Out of range

| Move wireless transmitter close to transmitter base to re-establish a connection. If a connection does not establish automatically, turn both units OFF and ON until a connection is established.

Meat over/under cooked.

|

Probe not centred in the thickest part of meat.

|

For best results, make certain the probe is positioned properly.

“H” is displayed instead of current temperature.

|

Probe temperature sensor has exceeded the temperature range.

| Remove probe from heat immediately and allow to cool. Turn transmitter base off and unplug the probe wire. Reconnect probe and test by powering on and establishing a connection. If the LCD still displays “H” then the probe sensor has been damaged. Please call customer service to replace.
