Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the Project E Beauty Portable Skin Care Galvanic Device. This device utilizes Galvanic positive and negative ionization to treat a variety of skin conditions.

Galvanic treatments work in a natural and harmless way. This treatment achieves maximum results by penetrating active substances into the tissues, where they act on the circulation to bring about an improvement in the vascular and lymphatic interchange in the area.This improves the function of the cellular membrane, and allows the trapped fluid and fat to be dispersed and eliminated.

This device utilizes a two-part treatment, first being desincrustation which will prepare the skin for the next step, iontophores is which is used to assist the nutrients, cream, etc. into the skin for optimal results.

This safe, non-invasive technology can be beneficial in the treatment of many skin conditions such as improving skin texture, firming the skin, reducing redness, reducing circulation and more. It does this because each treatment will relax the pores (making extraction easier), deep cleanse the skin, stimulate secretions of the sweat glands as well as nerve endings, increase circulation to the area which will allow penetration of the nutrients and have an overall softening and drying effect.

Cosmetologists and skin care specialists agree that these treatments, when properly performed, have no side effects. The treatment methods of this unit are an important component of your skin care routine and should only be used for cosmetic purposes. It is not intended in any way to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

The device comes with a Roller Probe that is designed for the open face and neck areas as well as a Ball Probe which is the perfect size for working around the eyes and nose, giving you the best results.

5. Disinfect the electrode with 70% alcohol using a soft cloth and carefully cleaning the electrodes, LED cover and Probes.
6. Do not block any of the ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
7. Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
8. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched, particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.
9. Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
10. Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
11. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
12. WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this apparatus to rain or moisture. Do not place objects filled with water, such as a vase, on the apparatus.
13. The AC mains plug is used as the power disconnect device and it should remain readily accessible and operable during intended use. In order to completely disconnect the apparatus from power, the mains plug should be completely removed from the AC outlet socket.

This device utilizes two feature functions as follows:

Desincrustation

Desincrustation is a deep cleansing treatment that softens sebum and is the ideal treatment for congested or oily skins. Desincrustation can be utilized as the on to prepare the skin for iontophoresis.

lontophoresis

lontophoresis is used to penetrate creams or solutions into the skin for a specific treatment. lontophoresis is also used in cellulite treatments on the body to penetrate diuretic-based gels into the skin to stimulate lymphatic drainage.

This device has two probes that perform the following:

Roller Probe

The Roller Probe that is designed for the open face and neck areas.

Ball Probe

The Ball Probe is designed for working around the eyes and nose, giving you the best results.

How Often

Perform each treatment for 10 minutes four times a week to start. Once the goal is achieved, use only twice a week.

Use of the Device

Before performing a treatment you should do the following:

Remove all jewelry and any metal objects.
Check if absolute or relative contraindications exist
Check that the device is functioning properly and the electrical cord is not damaged.
Ensure there are not any flammable materials near the workspace.

Charging

This device can be used connected to an AC outlet or can be charged to be used without the AC cord. To plug in and charge the unit, perform the following:

Insert the Adapter’s plug into the Power jack on the bottom of the device.
Insert the USB cable to standard 5V charger(not included);
Insert the charger into a AC outlet.
The Charge LED will light to indicate the unit is charging. You can use the device while charging.

Note: Recharge when the device stops working.

Follow these steps when performing a treatment:

Disinfect the desired probe with a soft cloth and carefully cleaning.
To remove a probe, gently pull it off the USB-type jack.
To replace the probe, simply align the curved edge of the probe with the curved edge of the unit and gently push it onto the USB-type jack.
When using around the nose, eyes and edges of the mouth, use the Ball Probe, otherwise use the Roller Probe.
Plug the unit in, or use a charged device.
Thoroughly clean the face with soap and water, and dry.
Press the ON/OFF button to turn the unit on, the + and – indicators will alternatively blink.
Use an ion gel on areas you will be working on to achieve the best results.

Press the Negative (-) button to cleanse the skin (desincrustation) and prepare the skin for iontophoresis.
Adjust the Intensity control to a lower amount and then gradually increase as desired.
Note: The device is effective at all intensity levels including the lowest setting.
It is not necessary to use the highest power level to achieve maximum results.
To activate, hold the unit with your fingers touching the side electrodes u and place the whole probe v completely on the skin. Move in the directions as shown starting on the on the next page for best cleansing results.
- Slowly move from eyebrows upwards to the top of the hairline.
- Slowly move from the bottom of the neck up the face and to the forehead.
- Slowly move from the nose across the check and towards the ear.
- Slowly move down the chin to the neck.
  For around the nose and eyes areas, make sure to use the ball probe.
  Decrease the Intensity control to 0.5
For iontophoresis, apply an Ion gel on areas you will be working on to achieve the best results.

Press the Positive (+) Button
Adjust the Intensity control to a lower amount and then gradually increase as desired.
Note: The device is effective at all intensity levels including the lowest setting.

To activate, again hold the unit with your fingers touching the side electrodes u and place the whole probe v completely on the skin. Move in the same directions as follows:
- Slowly move from eyebrows upwards to the top of the hairline.
- Slowly move from the bottom of the neck up the face and to the forehead.
- Slowly move from the nose across the check and towards the ear.
- Slowly move down the chin to the neck.

Note: Always move upwards; do not move the unit downwards.

  * Slowly move upwards from the chin to the bottom of the ear, then lift the device off the skin and move from the chin to the corners of the mouth.  

  * Slowly move from the corners of the eyes to the temples to the top of the neck. Lift the device and move from the chin to the top of the neck and down to the armpits.

For around the nose and eyes areas, make sure to use the Ball Probe.

Press the ON/OFF button to turn the unit off.

Maintenance

Properly unplug the device by holding the plug and removing it from the AC outlet.
After each use, disinfect the electrode with a soft cloth.
Immediately dry off any moisture, chemicals or water on the device.
Always keep the device clean and sterilized.
Store the device in a dry place.

Warranty

The product comes with a full one year warranty against manufacturer defects. It does not include damage caused by misuse, accident, abuse, neglect or other external causes. The warranty is void if an unstable voltage or inappropriate power supply has been used.
