Product Information
The CARNEO SeniorSafe+ 4G smartwatch is designed for elderly people and comes with a built-in GPS. The device has a microphone, camera, on/off button, sim card cover, speaker, and SOS button.Users can set up to 10 contacts in the international format +44XXXXXXXXXX. The watch has other features such as language setting, time zone adjustment, fall alert, body temperature measurement, SMS notifications, call reject, remote shutdown, device reset, and remote restart. The device also has additional functions on the map, including the ability to display the location of multiple watches at the same time.
Product Usage Instructions
- Use the watch at least once a week to extend battery life.
- Charge the battery regularly.
- Never leave the battery fully discharged for a long time.
- Always protect the device and batteries from heat and moisture.
- To set up contacts, enter up to 10 contacts in the international format +44XXXXXXXXXX.
- To restrict dialing functions, use the numeric keypad or prevent accidental calls to strangers or emergency services like 112.
- To change the clock menu language, select the language option.
- To change the time zone, select the correct time zone and the time will synchronize on the watch.
- To turn on or off the fall alert feature, change the sensitivity level from 1 to 8. Set a phone number in SMS notification settings for the watch to call in case of a user’s fall.
- To manually measure the user’s body temperature, use the function button on the right at the top of the cogwheel. Set an automatic temperature measurement for every hour or 12 hours max, and set the temperature range exceptions that do not endanger the user’s health. Set a time limit for the measurement.
- To enable or disable receiving text message notifications on the watch, use the SMS notification setting.
- To enable or disable receiving calls from foreign numbers, use the call reject function. If you turn the function on, the watch will only receive calls from your contact list.
- To turn off the clock remotely, use the remote shutdown feature.
- To reset the clock to factory settings, use the device reset feature.
- To restart the watch remotely, use the remote restart feature.
- To display the location of multiple watches at the same time, click on the people character icon on the map.
- To center the watch position on the map, tap on the teardrop icon.
- To show your phone’s location on the map, select the phone icon.

Important Notice
The measurement of human body temperature is influenced by a large number of
factors such as type, skin moisture, body hair, outside temperature, wind
speed, proper fit of the watch and others. The skin surface temperature is
always different from the body temperature. The result of the measurement is
very indicative and only serves to inform whether the body temperature has
increased or decreased. The measured values are different from those measured
by mercury or infrared thermometers.
Do not use the watch while swimming, showering, or taking warm bath.
Pressurized or warm water can get into the body of the watch and damage its
electronics, which is not covered by the warranty. Splash and dust resistance
is not a permanent condition and resistance may decrease due to normal wear
and tear. Liquid damage is not covered by the warranty, as it is not possible
to legally determine how the product was used. In order to prevent liquid from
entering the device, it is necessary to check the correct attachment of the
SIM card cover to the watch. The device is not intended for water sports,
swimming, diving, showering or using in a sauna. It must not be exposed to
pressurized water or a strong stream of water, such as e.g. sudden immersion
or jumping into water.

Do not use other applications than CARNEO GUARD to pair the watch!
The battery is not fully charged at the factory or is fully discharged for air
transport safety reasons, so it is necessary to charge it for at least 2 hours
before you start using the watch. The battery is designed and manufactured in
a way to be used and recharged very often. Like all lithium batteries, their
capacity decreases with each charge. However, you can still try to extend
battery life by following these steps:
- Use the watch at least once a week.
- Charge the battery regularly.
- Never leave the battery fully discharged for a long time.
- Always protect the device and batteries from heat and moisture.
Preparation before use

Check the contents of the box, which must includes the power cord and user manual.

Buy a SIM card with “data plan“. We do not recommend prepaid sim cards because if you run out of data, the watch is no able to communicate with the application and you would have to buy mobile data every time. Before inserting the card into the watch, you have to activate it on any phone and deactivate the PIN code “in phone settings”. Then test the deactivation of the PIN code by turning the phone off and on again. The SIM card must be logged in without having to enter a PIN code. Finally, test mobile data on your phone without using the WIFI. Open the Internet browser on your phone and try www.carneo.sk.

Note: The expected data transfer during standard use is up to 200MB per month without the use of a video call, which has a data consumption of 5MB / 1 minute per video call. Therefore, it is up to each user to purchase a sim card with a sufficient amount of data according to their needs. -
Install the CARNEO GUARD application on the mobile phone by scanning the QR code located on the bottom of the box or find the CARNEO GUARD application in Google play or Appstore.

Use your fingernail to slide out the plastic cover on the side, there is a SIM card icon depicted on that area. Sufficient force is required to pull it out, so we recommend using fingers with a solid nail to avoid breaking the nail. When inserting the SIM card, the watch must be switched off! If you inserted the SIM card while the watch is on, it is necessary to restart the watch in order for the SIM card to be launched correctly. Insert the SIM card in the correct direction as shown on the picture: If you have inserted the SIM card correctly into the SIM card tray, push it back towards the display with gold contacts facing up. Push the card tray hard enough to allow the rubber gasket to seal the opening sufficiently. You can now turn on the watch with the power button. After installing the application, open it and select the Slovak language at the left bottom side of the screen. Select the option to register. Enter your email address into the “Enter your email” field. In the “Enter verification code” field, write the code that is located on the right side in the gray rectangle. In the “8-16 Alphanumeric new password” field, enter any password of your choice between 8 and 16 characters long. Use a password that contains both, letters and numbers. Confirm that you have read the user agreement and choose to register.

Adding hours. Click on the square on the right of the first box. The phone’s camera will open and scan the QR code that is on the label attached to the watch, but also on the watch’s menu. Into “the nickname“ field enter watch user name. In the following field, select your affiliation/relationship to the owner of the watch. Confirm OK. The application will confirm that the watch is registered with the message “saved”.
IMPORTANT NOTICE!
5 minutes before registering the watch, place the switched-on watch with
inserted SIM card in the space outside or on the windowsill in order to
connect with the GPS satellites. The initial connection, synchronization of
clocks and applications from the server may take a few minutes, but maximum of
30 min approx. Therefore, if the application while setting up gives you a
message that the watch is not found on the network or is offline, please wait
for some time, but a maximum of 30 min. Also, the activation and display of
various functions such as eavesdropping and some others will only appear on
the application after some time, max. within 48 hours. This is due to checking
the legislation of the country where the watch is located.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If the application still shows that the watch is offline or the device was not
found on the network even after 30 minutes, it is very likely that the SIM
card does not have available mobile data plan. Please contact the SIM card
provider’s customer support. The activation of mobile data can take different
time with different providers, so it is important to check the availability of
the Internet on the SIM card with the provider. If the provider confirms to
you that the data is available on the SIM card and the application still shows
“the watch is offline or the device is not found on the network”, it is
necessary to set the APN “access point” for the Internet. The set up can be
done by sending an SMS to phone number that belongs to SIM card inserted in
the watch. See below the examples of SMS commands to set up APN for individual
providers in Slovakia.
Default APN setting values: Internet, Internet. For providers with different
APN settings, send an SMS to the watch in the form: pw,123456,apn,APN
NAME,LOGIN_APN,PASSWORD_APN,MCC+MNC operator#
If the provider does not use APN login and password, do not put any text
between the commas.
Note: 123456 is the default password

After sending an SMS as described above, the watch will send you a return SMS
confirming the change of settings.
After receiving this SMS, select to turn the watch off from the menu. Then
turn it on again. After this step, check on the main screen where you can see
a smiley emoticon that 2 opposite arrows with 4G symbol appear in the upper
part, which means that data is being exchanged between the server and the
watch. In case that these arrows do not appear within the maximum of 5
minutes, contact our technical support.

Battery life information:
Battery life based on the selected operating mode:
Normal mode / automatic localization every 10 minutes = Battery life max. 1-2
days
Energy saving mode / automatic localization every 1 hour = Battery life max.
2-3 days Sleep mode. You can request the position manually = Battery life max.
3-4 days
Battery life is accurate if watch is receiving 100% 4G GSM signals. If the
watch is located with a weaker GSM 4G signal during the day, the battery life
is rapidly shortened, as a larger amount of energy is used to increase the
performance of the GSM transmitter / receiver on the watch.

Functions description
- Green icon- Contacts list – above the map: You can set up to 10 contacts. After saving these contacts, data will be transferred to the watch. The contact must be entered in the international format +44XXXXXXXXXX.
- Orange icon – Messages: Press and hold the white button at the bottom of the screen while speaking into the microphone, release the button when the recording is finished and the message will be sent to the watch. You can record message up to 15 seconds. You can also send a text message witk max. of 30 characters.
- Dark orange icon – Call: You can save a phone number of the SIM card inserted in the watch and then simply connect to the watch with a standard phone call.
- Health: In this menu, you can view the history of the distance walked, calories burned, the total summary of distance walked and the quality of your sleep. The correct measurement of the pedometer depends on the user walk style, so the total number of steps may be higher or lower than actual reality. A large number of users walk softly or tiptoe and these steps may not be recorded by the G sensor.
- Note: After clicking on any of the four icons, you can enter all data necessary for the correct calculation of the distance walked and calories burned, such as length of the step, weight of the user. The pedometer must be activated on the application in the section health – walking option. Activating the pedometer will cause a higher energy consumption of the watch and can shorten the battery life by up to 30%.
- Information Center: A history of notifications received from the clock is available here.
- Device alarm: Option to set up to 3 alarms.
- Love Reward: With this function, you can send from 0 to 99 hearts to the watch as a reward for any actions performed.
- Remote photo: This function allows you to take a photo remotely with the camera on the watch. The photo will be transferred to the photos in the application within a few seconds “max 1 min”.
- Video call: Video call function.
- SOS numbers: You can enter up to 3 phone numbers, which the watch will contact in case that the SOS watch button is pressed for 3 seconds. It will try to connect to all 3 numbers “gradually”. If the call was not successful, watch will try to call the numbers in this order again.
- Working mode: Choose your desired GPS mode GPS locating of the watch. To spare the amount of transferred data and the battery life of the watch, we recommend saving mode.
- Ring mode: Select the Ringer or Silent mode.
- Eavesdropping: Enter your phone number in the empty field and confirm OK. The watch will immediately call the number you entered. When you pick up the phone, only the audio will be transmitted, so you can eavesdrop. The watch acts as turned off without any activity while listening.
- Family members: This is a list of users who have installed the application and paired identical watches as you. The user who registers the watch first becomes the administrator. When registering another user, the administrator must confirm the request to connect another account to the watch already registered. This request is delivered to the application within a few minutes after this user requests access to the watch.
- Limitation of use: Choose a time frame when you do not want the person wearing the watch to be disturbed. For example, when the person is sleeping, etc.
- SMS notification settings: Choose the phone number on which you want to be informed via SMS about the low battery status or the SOS warning. It can be turned on or off. This function is important if the watch is located in a place with a weak 4G signal so low battery status or SOS message is sent directly to your phone via text message, requiring only 2G signal. The watch will contact the specified number by phone in case the user falls down.
- LBS localization: Enable / disable localization through the provide’s transmitters. If you disable this option, it will not be possible to locate the watch when GPS or WIFI is not available.
- Find device: Find my watch. After clicking on the watch icon, the watch will ring.
- Contacts list: You can set up to 10 contacts. After saving these contacts, data will be transferred to the watch. The contact must be entered in the international format +44XXXXXXXXXX.
- Other settings: The dialing function gives the option to restrict person wearing the watch from dialing any phone numbers using the numeric keypad or to prevent from accidentally calling to strangers or 112.
- Language: Option to change the clock menu language.
- Time Zone: Change the time zone. In case the watch shows the wrong time – ” hours differences”, please select the correct time zone and the time will synchronize on the watch.
- Fall Alert: Option to turn on and off the this feature. For the function you can choose to send notification of user ‚s fall to the application. In SMS notification settings insert a phone number that the watch will call to in case of a user ‘s fall. Fall sensitivity is ranged from 1 to 8. We recommend to test the most optimal sensitivity of this function, so you avoid potential false alarms.
- Body temperature measurement: With this function, you can manually measure the user’s body temperature any time. The button on the right, at the top of the “cogwheel”, allows you to set an automatic temperature measurement for every hour, every 12 hours max and set the temperature range exceptions that do not endanger the health of the user + set time limit for the measurement.
- SMS notifications: You can enable or disable receiving text messages notifications on the watch. All text messages received on the watch are also displayed in the app.
- Call reject: You can enable or disable receiving calls from foreign numbers. If you turn the function on, watch will be able to receive calls only from your contacts list.
- Remote shutdown: Possibility to turn off the clock remotely.
- Device reset : Reseting the clock to factory settings.
- Remote Restart: Remote watch restart.

Clicking on the map area on the main screen a new map window will open

Icons on the right side of the screen:
- Icon – People character: Ability to display the location of multiple watches at the same time, as long as you have them registered.
- Icon – Teardrop: Taping this icon will center the watch position into the center of the map. Icon – Phone: Shows your phone’s location on the map.
- Icon – Radar / Geofence: This function allows you to set up a virtual fence. In case of crossing this restricted area, watch sends an alert to the application. Click on the center of the area where you would like to see the watch to be placed. Then use + and – buttons to set the desired diameter of the circular area and click on the gear wheel to save this setting. Use the trash icon to cancel / deactivate this setting / function.
- Icon – Feet: Shows the route of the watch in chosen time period. The individual points of the route are determined by the operating mode you set up “10 min, 1 hour”.
- Icon – Map: The possibility of displaying a normal, satellite or traffic map.
- Icon – Green teardrop: After clicking on the icon, an immediate requestfor location is sent to the watch. The location will be available within a few seconds.
Important information about location accuracy and security!
The watch primarily uses its localization from the built-in GPS receiver “in
an accuracy of a few dozens of meters “. However, if the watch is located in a
place with low or no GPS signal such as underground garage, it will use the
available WIFI networks for localization. In that case the accuracy of the
localization depends on the accuracy of the localization data of the WIFI
networks around the watch. Accuracy can be from 5m up to 300m. In extreme
cases, when the WIFI network provider has incorrectly identified the nearest
connection node to which the WIFI router is connected, the accuracy could be
even lower. If neither WIFI networks nor GPS signals from satellites are
available, the watch performs
localization using the BTS “LBS” transmitters of the provider whose SIM card
is inserted in the watch. In this case, the accuracy of the localization is
affected by the number of BTS detectors of the provider in the given area „up
to a few km“. In larger cities, the number of BTS detectors is higher,
therefore the accuracy of LBS localization is more accurate than in villages
and rural areas.

direct fire. Do not disassemble the device or attempt to repair it yourself.
