Water Resistance
This watch is water-resistant up to 30 bar. Avoid water exposure beyond the
indicated limit to prevent damage to the watch’s mechanisms.
The water resistance of a Longines watch may be affected by aging of the gaskets or by an accidental shock to the crown. To preserve the water resistance of the watch, it is recommended that it be rinsed with fresh water after being exposed to saltwater and that it undergoes a water resistance check at a Longines authorized service center once a year. Under no circumstances should the watch be opened.
This watch can indicate hours, minutes, seconds, day, date, as well as the moon phases and 24-hour time. It is capable of timing events up to 12 hours and displaying results to 1/5 of a second.
The watch features a screw-down crown which is to be unscrewed counter- clockwise before setting the time or date and then screwed back in clockwise after setting to ensure the watch’s water-resistance.
Setting the Time and Other Functions
Instructions for setting the time, date, moon phases, and using the chronograph functions are provided in the manual. It includes avoiding any setting of the date, day of the week, and month between 8 PM and 4 AM to prevent damage to the mechanism, and the rapid date and month setting without needing to reset the time.
