What’s included?
Assembly
- Put the Center Shaft (B) onto the Base Plate (A) and secure the two together using the thumb screw on the side of the Center Shaft (B). See Fig. 1.
- Insert the Long Rails (C) inside their tracks on the Center Shaft (B)
- Add 1 set or 2 sets of Short Rails (D) to the Long Rails (C) depending on your need.
- Secure the rails using the 2 thumbscrews on the side of the Center Shaft (B).
Your setup should now look like
- Slide and secure onto the Long Rails (C) one of the Clamps (E) in order to prevent the rails from twisting.
- Slide and secure on the long rails (C) the Camera Clamp (D). Insert and secure the Camera Pole (F) into the Camera Clamp (D).
- On the other end of the poles, first, insert the Backdrop Clamp (H). Lock the clamp into position.
- Still, on the same side, insert the 2nd Clamp (E) and lock it into position.
**At this point, your setup should look like
**
- Place the Top Plate (J) on the Center Shaft (B).
- Mount the Backdrop (I) to the Backdrop Clamp (H) and position the Backdrop as close as possible to the Top Plate (J).
- Mount your camera onto the Camera Pole (G).
- Add Counterweight (K) onto the Clamp (E) behind the backdrop to balance the rig. When balanced correctly, the poles should spin seamlessly.
Mounting Options
- The Center Shaft (B) can be mounted directly onto a C-Stand as shown in Fig. 5.
- The Base Plate (A) features 4 holes for mounting purposes. Screws are not included.
Available Adjustments
- Height of the camera via the Camera Pole (G)
- The angle of the camera via the ball head at the end of the Camera Pole (G)
- Position of the camera along the rails.
- Position and number of counterweights.
Warning: When using a Cellphone, be aware that the built-in stabilization in most cellphones will make the subject at the center of the Top Plate look off-centered on videos. With the phone rotating around a fixed subject, the stabilization switches cameras and prevents the subject from being perfectly centered.
