Disposal
The disposal instructions are based on icons on the appliance or its package. The description of all meanings can be found in the “Marking“ Chapter.
Transport package disposal
- The package protects the appliance against any damage during transport. Package materials are usually chosen according to their environmental friendliness and disposal method and can therefore be recycled.
- Putting the package into material circulation saves raw materials and reduces waste disposal costs.
- Parts of the package (e.g. foils, styropor) can be dangerous to children. Risk of suffocation!
- Keep parts of the package out of reach of children and dispose them as quickly as possible.
Handling requirements
The operating staff must carefully read the Operating Instructions before using the appliance.
Qualification
Apart from the detailed instruction by a professional no special qualification is necessary for using the appliance. .
Transport and storage
For any longer storage the appliance must be thoroughly cleaned and stored so as unauthorised persons could not access it.
- Empty the dirt collecting container
- Adjust the brushes to relieve them
- Store the appliance when it is dry
- To save spaces, the sliding handle can be folded. Loosen the screws, pull the sliding handle out and fold forward.
Assembly
When putting the appliance into working order, it is enough just to fold up
the sliding handle and tighten the screws included in the supply.
Now adjust the sliding handle height. Loosen the screws (pic. 1/6), select the
required fixture and fix the sliding handle in the desired height.
Operation
When the sweeper is moved, the feeder brushes (pic. 3/5) and sweeping brushes (pic. 3/8) start rotating, helped by the belt drive. Rotating feeder brushes (pic. 3/5) drive the dirt to the centre. It is then collected by both sweeping brushes, running opposite each other (pic. 3/8) and taken to the dirt collecting container (pic. 3/3).
Adjustment of feeder and sweeping brushes
Depending on the type of use and wear, it is possible to centrally adjust the
height of feeder brushes and the back sweeping brush. Turn the central screw
for height adjustment (pic. 1/5). The deeper you adjust the appliance, the
closer to the ground the feeder brushes are going to be and the more difficult
it is going to be to move the appliance forward.
Emptying the dirt collecting container
If you want to take out the dirt collecting container (pic. 1/3) to empty it,
take it by its handle and pull up.
If metal, glass or sharp objects have been swept, it is necessary to use firm
working gloves when emptying the dirt collecting container.

Use a wet cloth for plastic parts cleaning. Do not use any cleaning agents, solvents or sharp objects.
After every use
- Remove the appliance off dust and dirt.
- Empty the dirt collecting container.
- Except the above, the appliance needs not be maintained any further.
