PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Remove the battery hatch cover, place 4x “AA” cells into the battery hatch, then replace the battery hatch cover.

interference received, including interference that may cause undesired

equipment.
NOTE: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits
for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These
limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful
interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and
can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in
accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio
communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not
occur in a particular installation.
If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television
reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the
user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the

- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.

The following information is a quick and easy operating procedure for the ARROWSHOBBY AR06 2.4G remote transmitter and receiver:
- Turn off the transmitter, connect the signal line of the ESC to the third channel of the receiver, and then connect the battery with the ESC.
- The orange status light will flash slowly when the receiver is powered on.
- With a small pointed object, press on the bind switch and the orange status light will flash rapidly.
- Return the throttle to its lowest position then turn on the transmitter. Once the transmitter and receiver are paired, the status light on the receiver will turn solid.
- Power off the entire system, connect all servos per the aircraft manual. Ensure that the polarity of each plug is correct.
- Move each control stick and check that the servos are responding in the right direction
- Repeat the previous steps if the system is not functioning correctly.
Note: The M. Bus channel connects to the flight controller using a servo harness.
Precautions
- If you are an inexperienced pilot, seek the assistance of a flight instructor to help you with setting up your aircraft. As R/C models are not toys, improper setup and/or operation may result in serious accidents or injuries.
- Please follow all rules and regulations when flying your aircraft as local regulations may differ from region to region.
- Always check that your R/C system has enough range. Perform a range check by moving the control sticks and aux channel while walking away from the model. The aircraft should respond within 50 steps.
- Ensure that the battery provides sufficient power. When the low voltage alarm sound and orange power indicator light flashes, replace the radio control battery, to ensure safe aircraft operation.
- The FMS F4 2.4GHz transmitter pairs only to its own receivers. Receivers made by other manufacturers will not function with the FMS transmitter.

Functions

Pairing: With the transmitter turned on, power on the aircraft. Press and hold the bind button on the transmitter for 3 seconds to begin the pairing sequence (Skip if the aircraft is already paired to the transmitter).

Automatic systems check: With the aircraft and transmitter powered on, keep the aircraft level on the ground and keep both control sticks at their neutral position. The elevator will pitch up to signify that the aircraft is trying to obtain a GPS signal (NOTE: Ensure that the aircraft is flying at a wide-open location, otherwise the GPS calibration will fail. If the GPS functionality is not needed, press and hold the return to home button on the top left-hand corner of the transmitter for about 3 seconds to cancel and turn off the GPS function. If the GPS function has been successfully turned off, the elevator will cycle twice then return to its neutral position- signifying that the aircraft is ready to fly). The white status LED at the nose of the aircraft flashes when the aircraft is searching for a GPS signal. When a GPS signal has been found, the status light will turn solid. 3-9 seconds after the GPS signal is found (in which time the GPS system is verifying a stable signal), the elevator will cycle twice and return to neutral- signifying that the aircraft is ready for GPS flight. NOTE: If the aircraft has is being flown at a new location or if the aircraft hasn’t flown in a while, the GPS system will take longer to verify its position.

GPS status LED: Under GPS mode, the status light flashes rapidly when the system is searching for satellites. The status light turns solid once a GPS signal has been found. If the aircraft is not flying under GPS mode, the status light then indicates the aircraft’s current flight mode (Solid=stabilized, slow flashes= gyro off, fast
flashes=optimized). -
Stabilized mode: Triggered using the three-position switch (outer position) on the transmitter, the aircraft returns to level flight whenever the control sticks are at their neutral positions.

Gyro-off mode: Triggered using the middle position on the three-position switch, the aircraft is not assisted by the electronic flight control system.

Optimized mode: Triggered using the inner position on the three-position switch, the aircraft prevents
weather-induced attitude upsets but does not interfere with the pilot inputs. -
Return to home function: Triggered using the GPS button on the top left-hand corner of the transmitter, the aircraft will return to home whenever this button is pushed- regardless of which flight mode the aircraft is operating under. To cancel, simply move any of the sticks (NOTE: The aircraft will not respond to transmitter inputs in return to home mode until 3-5 seconds after the function has been triggered). If the GPS function is turned off, the GPS button becomes the panic button- press it under any attitude and the aircraft will return to level flight.

Fail-safe function: In any flight mode, if the receiver loses its connection to the transmitter, the aircraft will level off and initiate the return to home function. If the receiver regains contact with the transmitter, any stick movement will disengage the return to home function. (NOTE: The aircraft will not respond to transmitter inputs in return to home mode until 3-5 seconds after the function has been triggered).

GPS flight perimeter function: Under stabilized mode (ONLY), when the aircraft has flown in excess of 120m from the takeoff point, the aircraft will initiate the return to home function, then circle over the home point. Any stick movement cancels the flight perimeter function (NOTE: The aircraft will not respond to transmitter inputs in return to home mode until 3-5 seconds after the function has been triggered unless the aircraft is still beyond 120m from the home point, in which case the aircraft will not give the pilot control until the aircraft is within the flight parameter).

GPS factory settings: Maximum flight perimeter: 120m, minimum flight altitude: 30m, circling radius: ~40m, slowest velocity: ~40km/h (The aircraft will maintain this speed by automatically controlling the throttle). When the aircraft is in any of the GPS flight modes, it follows these parameters.
