Safety Rules

  1. Always keep the appliance and its power cord out of the reach of children. Children should always be supervised to ensure they do not play with or touch the appliance.
  2. Cleaning and user maintenance of the device must not be performed by children.
  3. The appliance must only be connected to a power supply with a voltage and frequency that complies with the specifications on the rating plate.
  4. Never use, handle, or pick up the appliance if
    • The power cord is damaged, or
    • The housing/casing is damaged
  5. If the appliance or its power cord sustains damage, it must be replaced by Morgles directly or a Morgles service agent in order to avoid further danger.
  6. Do not immerse the appliance, its power cord, or the plug in water or any type of liquid.
  7. Do not attempt to bypass the safety interlock system that powers the appliance.
  8. Do not use or place the appliance near the edge of a table or counter, nor close to a hot gas supply, stove, electric burner, or heated oven.
  9. Always place the appliance on a flat, level, and dry surface.
  10. Always switch off the appliance and disconnect it from the power supply when left unattended, before you change the accessories, and before cleaning/carrying out maintenance on the device.

Changing the Pushing Plate and Cutting Plate

  1. Ensure the appliance is switched off and disconnected from the power supply.
  2. Remove the transparent cover by unscrewing the butterfly nuts.
  3. Remove the current pushing plate by sliding it out from theguide shaft.
  4. Remove the cutting plate by unscrewing the four butterfly nuts.
  5. Place the new cutting plate onto the guide shaft and secure it with the butterfly nuts.
  6. Slide the new pushing plate onto the guide shaft until it locks into place.
  7. Reattach the transparent cover by screwing on the butterfly nuts.

Cutting Potatoes

  1. Peel and wash the potatoes.
  2. Ensure the appliance is switched off and connected to the powersupply.
  3. Place a potato onto the pushing plate.
  4. Press the forward button to push the potato towards the cutting plate.
  5. The potato will be cut into French fry shapes as it passes through the cutting plate.
  6. Repeat the process for additional potatoes.

Cleaning and Maintenance Instructions

  1. Ensure the appliance is switched off and disconnected from the power supply.
  2. Remove the transparent cover and pushing plate.
  3. Wash the cutting plate, transparent cover, and pushing plate with warm soapy water.
  4. Dry all components thoroughly before reassembling.
  5. Wipe the main body of the appliance with a damp cloth.
  6. Store the appliance in a clean and dry place.

  14. Always keep hands and utensils away from the appliance during operation to avoid the risk of severe injury to involved persons or damage to the appliance.
  15. Ensure that the appliance is switched off before removing the pushing plate and cutting plate from the guide shaft.
  16. Do not use the appliance continuously for more than 20 minutes. After using the device for 20 minutes with heavy loads, the appliance should be left to cool for at least 10 minutes before restarting it.
  17. The appliance cannot be used directly for high-fiber foods, such as sweet potatoes. Please heat such foods, including sweet potatoes, for around 1-3 minutes in a microwave oven before cutting to soften them; otherwise, the cutting plate may pop out.
  18. Do not let the power cord come into contact with hot surfaces or hang over the edge of a table or counter.
  19. Never use any accessories or parts made by other manufacturers that are not recommended or sold by Morgles, as this may cause a significant injury risk to persons using or modifying the device.
  20. Do not use the appliance for any other purpose than its intended use.
  21. This appliance is for indoor use only.
  22. This appliance is intended for domestic use only. Morgles will not accept any liability for possible damage caused by improper or incorrect use.

CHANGING THE PUSHING PLATE AND CUTTING PLATE

  • Caution : Pushing plate ⑤ and cutting plate ③ come as part of a set; please use the same spec. (9x9mm or 12x12mm); otherwise, the machine may be damaged.
  • Step 1 : Plug in the adapter ⑦, and hold down the forward button until the pushing plate is in the middle of the compartment on the main body ①.
  • Caution : Do not let your hand go near the four guide  shafts during the operation, as this could injure your hand!
  • Step 2 : Open the cover ②, rotate the metal clip counter-clockwise to release the pushing plate⑤, and remove the pushing plate to replace it with a new one.
  • Step 3: Unscrew the 4 butterfly nuts ④ to release the cutting plate ③. Lift the machine slightly, then remove the cutting plate ③ from the four guide shafts ⑥.Sopito-Electric-French-Fry-Cutter- \(6\)
  • Step 4 : Choose the intended pushing plate and cutting plate set, then fix the pushing plate ⑤ on the alu pushing plate base by rotating the metal clip clockwise; mount the cutting plate ③ on the guide shaft ⑥, and finally tighten the four butterfly nuts④.
  • Caution : When mounting the cutting plate, please note that the matt foam side is on the table.

CUTTING POTATOES

  • Step 1. Plug the power adapter ⑦, make sure the pushing plate ⑤ is located in the start position, open the cover ②, place the potato in the compartment on the main body ①, and close the cover.
  • The appliance cannot be used directly for high-fiber foods, such as sweet potatoes. Please heat such foods, including sweet potatoes, for around 1-3 minutes in a microwave oven before cutting to soften them; otherwise, the cutting plate may pop out.
  • NOTE : It may be necessary to cut a small edge on the end of any especially large potatoes, then place the sliced end against the pushing plate.
  • Step 2. Hold down the forward button till the potato has processed completely.
  • Note : If the pushing plate is stuck or the potato cannot be processed completely, please try one of the following options
    • Reset the pushing plate by holding the backward button, then hold down the forward button to push the potato out.
    • Or, simply try again with your next potato.
  • Step 3. Clean the cutting plate③, pushing plate ⑤, and compartment on the main body ① according to the instructions presented in the “CLEANING & MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS “section.

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS

  • ALWAYS KEEP FINGERS CLEAR OF THE CUTTING BLADES AT ALL TIMES. Never hold the product with your hands in the direct line of the cutting blade.
  • Caution! Always use extreme care when handling the cutting plates and blades! The blades are extremely SHARP! It is suggested that you wear cut-resistant gloves when handling the cutting plates.
  • Never immerse the motor base in water! Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads when cleaning the appliance.
  • It is recommended to thoroughly clean your French fry cutter before and after each use. Clean with hot, soapy water, then rinse the appliance with clean water and dry thoroughly.

  • Step 1. To clean between the blades of the cutting plate, use a long-bristled brush to remove debris. Do not use your fingers.
  • Step 2. To clean the pushing plate, remove any remaining debris with a blunt, gently rounded object, such as a butter knife, then thoroughly clean with a long-bristled brush.
  • Step 3. You may need to disassemble the pushing plate and cutting plate according to the aforementioned instructions in the “CHANGING THE PUSHING PLATE AND CUTTING PLATE” section to get a thorough clean.
