IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

WARNINGS

  1. Before use of the product, please read this instructions manual and keep it for future reference. The original document was prepared in Hungarian language.

  2. This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years or above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, provided that they are supervised or have been given instructions concerning the safe use of the appliance and understand the hazards involved. Children may not play with the appliance.
    Children aged over 8 years may perform the cleaning or user maintenance of the appliance under supervision.

  3. Keep children aged less than 8 years away from the appliance and its mains cord.

  4. Make sure that the appliance was not damaged during shipping.

  5. The appliance may be used in households or similar places, e.g.: staff kitchenettes in shops, offices and other workplaces, hotel or motel rooms and other accommodation, guest houses providing accommodation with breakfast.

  6. Use the appliance only for heating and frothing milk.

  7. The appliance must be placed on a solid, horizontal surface.

  8. Do not operate the appliance with a program switch, timer, separate remote control systems etc. which may switch on the appliance automatically.

  9. Use it only under dry, indoor conditions. Protect it from humid environments (e.g., bathroom, swimming pool).

  10. DO NOT use the appliance near a bathtub, washbasin, shower, swimming pool or sauna.

  11. Before filling the tank, switch off the appliance and let it cool down. Fill only milk into the tank.

  12. Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.

  13. The appliance may only be used with the supplied base.

  14. Do not put anything on top of the appliance.

  15. Before relocating or cleaning the appliance, disconnect it by unplugging the mains plug, and then let it cool down.

  16. Unplug the power cord by grasping the plug, not the cord.

  17. Caution! Prevent water from splashing on the mains socket.

  18. Do not place an empty tank on the base while switched on.

  19. Do not switch on the frother when empty. Risk of failure.

  20. Do not move the frother or open the top while it is running.

  21. Take utmost care when moving the frother.

  22. Do not place the appliance on or near an electric or gas oven or other heat sources.

  23. Operate the appliance under constant supervision at all times.

  24. Do not operate the appliance near children without supervision.

  25. If you notice any irregularities (such as unusual noise from the appliance or burning smell), switch off and unplug the appliance immediately.

  26. Protect from dust, moisture, sunlight and direct heat.

  27. Never touch the appliance or the power cord with wet hands.

  28. Make sure that the power cord and plug are not exposed to water or other liquids.

  29. Always fully unroll the supply cable.

  30. Only connect to earthed wall socket with 230V~ / 50Hz rated supply voltage.

  31. Do not use an extension cord or splitter to connect the appliance to the mains.

  32. The power must not come into contact with hot surfaces.

  33. Keep the appliance in a place, where the power supply plug can be easily reached and unplugged.

  34. Run the power cord so that it cannot be accidentally disconnected and does hang down from the table edge.

  35. The heating elements / heated surfaces of the appliance will remain warm for a while after switching off.

  36. If you are not going to use the appliance for an extended period, turn it off and unplug the power cord. Store in a dry, cool place.

Caution: Risk of electric shock! Do not attempt to disassemble of modify the unit or its accessories. In case any part is damaged, immediately power off the unit and seek the assistance of a specialist.

In the event that the power cable should become damaged, it should only be replaced by the manufacturer, its service facility or similarly qualified personnel.

COMMISSIONING

  1. Before installation, carefully remove packaging, and make sure not to damage the unit or the power cord. If you find any damage, the unit must not be operated!

  2. Unwind the cord.

  3. Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.

  4. Do not clean it in a dishwasher.

  5. Simply pull the mixing lever with the spring off the shaft.

  6. Wash the inside of the product, the mixing lever, the spring and the plastic cover by hand.
    Do not immerse the appliance in any liquid. Wipe the parts dry.

  7. Place the base on a solid, flat surface.

  8. Plug the unit into a standard grounded wall socket. Now the unit is ready for operation!

CLEANING

Before cleaning, empty the frother and let it cool down.

Cleaning the tank

  1. Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
  2. Do not clean it in a dishwasher.
  3. Wash the inside of the product and the plastic cover by hand after each use. Remove the mixing lever with the spring and wash them. Wipe the parts dry.
  4. Do not leg water splash on the outer surface of the appliance; wipe it only using a slightly damp cloth.

Cleaning the base

  1. Before cleaning, disconnect the base from the power supply by pulling out the plug.
  2. Do not immerse the base in water or any other liquid.
  3. Clean the base with a dry cloth. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents! Do not let water leak inside the appliance or spill on electrical components.

USE

Follow the steps in Figure 2.

  1. If you want to make hot milk foam, place the mixing lever with the spring on the shaft. If you want to heat milk, remove the spring, but put the mixing lever back on the shaft.
  2. Pour fridge-cold milk into the tank according to Table 1. We recommend using high-fat milk (>3%) for milk frothing.
  3. Press the ON button The mixing lever will start to rotate in the frother, the heating function will turn on and the button will light up blue

When the milk is hot (63 +/- 5°C) or the hot (65 +/- 5°C) milk foam is frothed, the appliance will turn off automatically, and the blue light on the button will go out.

ATTENTION! Do not forget to press the power button then, because if the tank cools down, the appliance on the base will turn on again

Use the prepared hot milk foam , for example, to make a cappuccino (1/3 espresso coffee 2/3 milk foam), or the hot milk to make latte coffee, cocoa or hot chocolate.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Error observed Possible resolution of the error
The appliance does not heat / froth the milk. Check the power supply and the

power switch
Make sure that the tank fits firmly on the base.
Overheat protection may have been triggered. Let the device cool down and you can have the thermal fuse replaced by a specialist.

DISPOSAL

Waste equipment must be collected and disposed separately from household waste because it may contain components hazardous to the environment or health. Used or waste equipment may be dropped off free of charge at the point of sale, or at any distributor which sells equipment of identical nature and function. Dispose of product at a facility specializing in the collection of electronic waste. By doing so, you will protect the environment as well as the health of others and yourself. If you have any questions, contact the local waste management organization.
