Coil Construction
The CRX35 indoor coils feature a cased design and are suitable for downflow
installation. The coils are made of high-quality materials to ensure
durability and optimal performance. The coil construction includes a large
surface area for efficient heat transfer and a factory installed expansion
valve for precise refrigerant flow control. The coils have FPT drain
connections for easy condensate drainage. Please note that D width coils do
not match C width furnace width or openings.
Product Usage Instructions
Installation
- Select a suitable location for installation, ensuring proper clearance for airflow and maintenance.
- Connect the line connections according to the specifications provided.
- Ensure proper condensate drainage by connecting the FPT drain connections.
- Install the indoor coil in a downflow configuration, matching it with a furnace of the same letter designation in the model number.
- Securely fasten the indoor coil in place using the appropriate mounting hardware.
Maintenance
To ensure optimal performance and longevity of the CRX35 indoor coils,
regular maintenance is recommended. Follow these steps:
- Turn off power to the unit before performing any maintenance.
- Clean the coil surface using a soft brush or vacuum cleaner to remove dust and debris.
- Inspect the coil for any signs of damage or leaks. If any issues are found, contact a qualified technician for repairs.
- Check and clean the condensate drain regularly to prevent blockages.
FAQ
Q: What is the refrigerant type used in the CRX35 indoor coils?
A: The CRX35 indoor coils use R-410A refrigerant.
Q: Can D-width coils be used with C-width furnaces?
A: No, D-width coils do not match C-width furnace width or openings. Please
refer to the Physical Matches drawing on page 5 of the user manual for more
information.
Q: What is the recommended air volume for the CRX35 indoor coils?
A: The recommended air volume varies depending on the specific model.
Please refer to the Air Resistance section of the user manual for detailed
information.
Q: How often should I clean the indoor coils?
A: It is recommended to clean the indoor coils at least once a year or as
needed, depending on the operating conditions and level of dust accumulation.
