Please do NOT attempt to change the battery yourself. If the battery has died and you do not want us to replace your battery, you should follow the disposal instructions below:

DANGER

When battery fluid leaks from rechargeable batteries

  • Do not touch the battery fluid with bare hands.
  • When battery fluid gets into the eyes, refrain from rubbing them, immediately rinse them thoroughly with clean water, and then seek medical attention promptly.
  • If battery fluid spills onto the body or clothes, immediately wash them sufficiently in clean water. Consult a doctor if inflammation or injury of the skin occurs.

Rechargeable batteries

  • Do not use other than the supplied USB cable with these headphones as doing so may cause a failure.
  • Do not place in fire. Do not disassemble or heat.
  • Do not use, store, or leave close to fire or exposed to direct sunlight, in a vehicle in the sun, or in other locations that are subject to high temperature.
  • Do not short circuit.
  • Do not use batteries from which battery fluid has leaked.

WARNING

  • To prevent a fire hazard, do not place any naked flame sources (such as a lighted candle) near the equipment.
  • If charging does not complete even after the specified charging time, stop charging. Overcharging may cause a fire, burn, injury, etc.
  • If any of the following symptoms appear, immediately cease use of the headphones, turn the power to OFF, and consult your dealer:
    •  The headphones exhibit unnatural heating, smells, deformation, discoloration, etc.
    •  A foreign object enters the headphones.
  • Do not wrap the headphones in a cloth or quilt, or use on top of a heated carpet. It may retain heat, the case may deform, and result in fire.
  • Do not pour water inside or wet the headphones. This may cause fire or electric shock. Be particularly careful when using in rainy weather, during snowfall, at the beach, or beside water.
  • Never inspect the inside or remodel this machine. If the customer remodels this machine, AlphaTheta Corporation will no longer guarantee its performance. For traffic safety, never use the headphones while riding a bicycle, motorbike, or while driving a car. It is dangerous to increase the sound volume too much because you cannot hear external sounds; take great care about traffic around you.
  • Do not use in dangerous locations such as railway crossing and station platforms, roadways, construction sites, etc. Sounds from the surrounding area may not be audible, causing unforeseen accidents. To prevent possible hearing damage, do not listen at high volume levels for long periods.

USB charging cable

  • Do not use connectors on which the terminal section has been twisted.
  • When connecting the connector, check the connection direction and insert the connector directly.
  • Do not allow fluids (sweat or drinking water) or foreign matter (small items of refuse or dust, metal, etc.) to adhere to the connector section

CAUTION

  • Adjust headphone’s sound to the proper volume. Loud sound may damage your ears.
  • Lower the volume when turning off the power. Sudden noises at high volume may cause hearing damage the next time the power is turned on.
  • If any itching or skin discomfort occurs during use, cease use immediately.
  • Do not wind the USB charging cable around the headphones when using it. Abnormal heat may cause fire or electric shock.
  • Do not place in a location where temperatures become abnormally high. In addition to degrading the exterior case and interior components, this may cause fire. Be especially careful when using in vehicles with the windows closed, in locations exposed to direct sunlight, or close to a heater.
  • Do not place in a location exposed to smoke or steam, or in a location where there is a lot of humidity or dust. Electric may pass through smoke, moisture, or dust, causing fire or electric shock.
  • This unit should not be used by persons who have heart pacemakers installed, since adverse affects could occur.
  • Do not use this unit in hospitals or clinics, or near medical equipment.
  • Do not use inside airplanes or in the vicinity of automatic doors to avoid danger of causing malfunctions.
  • Do not wear the headphones while charging. This may cause a burn.

Precautions for use

  • Caution should be observed during use, since adjustable parts may pinch the user’s hair, depending on the way in which headphones are used.
  •  Do not subject the headphones to strong forces or impacts, since damage could occur to the exterior appearance or product performance.
  • When headphones are dirty, wipe with a dry, soft cloth. Take care not to blow into the speaker unit.
  • Sound quality might deteriorate or sound maybe interrupted if the plug is dirty. Keep the plug clean by wiping it with a soft, dry cloth occasionally.
  • Ear pads may degrade over long periods of use or storage. In this event consult your dealer.
  • When removing the coiled cable, hold the plug and not the cord. Pulling the cord may cause a wire to break or a failure.
  • The microphone may be damaged if sweat or moisture is allowed inside. Take particular care when using the headphones in conditions of rain, lightning, near the ocean, river, or lake.
  • If the connectors of the USB charging cable are kept in a dirty state, charging may not be possible. Keep the connectors clean by wiping them occasionally with a soft dry cloth.

Notes

Internal Rechargeable Lithium-ion Battery

  • This device uses an internal rechargeable lithium-ion battery that should last the lifetime of the device. If you suspect your battery may be dead, try charging it several times. If the battery does not recharge, please contact us for repair information.
  • When disposing of used batteries, please comply with governmental regulations or environmental public institution’s rules that apply in your country/area. If you have any questions, contact the service center.
