Intended use
This light stand is intended to be used for the stable mounting and height- adjustable posi‐tioning of spotlights. Use the device only as described in this user manual. Any other use or use under other operating conditions is considered to be improper and may result in personal injury or property damage. No liability will be assumed for damages resulting from improper use.
This device may be used only by persons with sufficient physical, sensorial, and intellectual abilities and having corresponding knowledge and experience. Other persons may use this device only if they are supervised or instructed by a person who is responsible for their safety.

DANGER!
Danger for children Ensure that plastic bags, packaging, etc. are properly disposed of and are not in the reach of babies and young children. Choking hazard! Ensure that children do not detach any small parts (e.g. knobs or the like) from the product. They could swallow the pieces and choke! Never let children play unattended with the product.

CAUTION!
Danger of tipping when transported under load If the stand is moved without having removed the installed device, the stand may tip over and cause injuries and property damage. Remove the installed device before transporting the stand.

CAUTION!
Danger of tipping on unsuitable surfaces When the speaker stand is installed on soft or uneven ground, the stand may tip over and cause injuries and property damage. Install the stand only on even and solid surfaces.

CAUTION!
Danger of tipping due to overload In case of overload, the stand may tip over and cause injuries and property damage. Never exceed the maximum load capacity specified for the stand.

NOTICE!
Possible staining The plasticiser contained in the rubber feet of this product may possibly react with the coating of your surface and after some time cause permanent dark stains. In case of doubt, do not put the rubber feet directly on the surface and use a suitable underlay if neces‐sary, i.e. felt pads or similar.

Operating

Unpack and check carefully there is no transportation damage before using the product. Keep the equipment packaging. To fully protect the product against vibration, dust and moisture during transportation or storage use the original packaging or your own packaging material suitable for transport or storage, respectively.

CAUTION!
Danger of tipping when transported under loadIf the stand is moved without having removed the installed device, the stand may tip over and cause injuries and property damage. Remove the installed device before transporting the stand.

NOTICE!

Comply with regulations
When installing and operating, make sure to follow the standards and regulations that apply in your country.

  1. Loosen the safety screw [1] on the lower slide and unfold the tripod feet [2] until the safety bolt [10] engages in the desired position in the main tube [3].
  2.  Fix the position with the safety screw [1] on the lower slide to which the four cross beams are attached.
  3. Flange the cross beam onto the mount for the cross beam at the tripod top end [9] and tighten the securing screw of the mount. Attach the spotlights. Pay attention to an even weight distribution to reach a centric load of the stand. The maximum load capacity of 85 kg in total must not be exceeded.
  4. Loosen the locking screw [4] on the tube clamp of the square tube [7].
  5. Crank the upper extension tube [5] clockwise with the crank [8] until the safety bolt [12] engages in the desired position in the upper extension tube [5]. Fix the position of the extension tube with the safety screw [4] on the tube clamp of the square tube [7].
  6. Loosen the locking screw [6] on the tube clamp of the main tube [3].
  7. Crank out the square tube [7] clockwise with the crank [8] until the safety bolt [11] engages in the desired position in the square tube [7]. Fix the position of the square tube with the safety screw [6] on the tube clamp of the main tube [3].
  8. Turn the crank [8] slightly counter-clockwise to avoid over-tensioning the wire rope.

Dismounting

  1. Pull out the spring split pin [A] of the safety bolt [11] and fold the fixing [B] at the max‐imum angle in the opposite direction to pull the safety bolt out of the square tube [7].
  2.  Loosen the safety screw [6] on the tube clamp of the main tube [3] and crank the square tube [7] all the way down with the crank [8]. Fix the position of the square tube with the safety screw [6].
  3. Pull out the spring split pin [A] of the safety bolt [12] and fold the fixing [B] at the max‐imum angle in the opposite direction to pull the safety bolt out of the upper extension tube [5].
  4. Loosen the safety screw [4] on the tube clamp of the square tube [7] and crank the upper extension tube [5] all the way down with the crank [8]. Fix the position of the extension tube with the safety screw [4].
  5. remove the spotlights. During the assembly, pay attention to an even weight distribu‐tion to reach a centric load of the tripod.
  6. Loosen the safety screw of the mounting and detach the cross beam.
  7. Pull out the spring split pin [A] of the safety bolt [10] and fold the fixing [B] at the max‐imum angle in the opposite direction to pull the safety bolt out of the main tube [3].
  8. Loosen the safety screw [1] on the lower slide, to which the four cross struts are attached, and fold up the feet of the tripod [2].
  9. Pack all parts of the system in their original package, as possible, and store the package in a dry place protected against moisture.
