HUSKY 55921 X-ACT Contour Floor Liners
Thank you for selecting an X-act Contour® Floor Liner from Husky Liners. Your
new front floor liners are custom molded to fit your vehicle. The liners are
made to take the place of your factory floor mat(s). For correct fit, it is
necessary to remove the factory floor mats before installing your new floor
liner. However, do not remove the factory-installed carpeting.
Your liners are made from an engineering resin that is lightweight and
extremely tough and durable. The easiest way to clean your liners is with a
damp cloth or sponge. If using a cleaner, 409® or Glass Plus® work well. Use
of Armor All®, Son-of-a-Gun® or similar items is discouraged as these products
make the liners slick.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR YOUR X-ACT CONTOUR FRONT FLOOR LINERS
- LEFT OR DRIVER’S SIDE
- RIGHT OR PASSENGER’S SIDE
TO EASE INSTALLATION OF YOUR FRONT LINERS, MOVE BOTH FRONT SEATS TO THEIR MOST REARWARD POSITION. NEXT, REMOVE ANY EXISTING FLOOR MATS AND INSTALL THE VELCRO RETENTION DISCS INCLUDED IN THE PACKAGING. RETENTION DISCS INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS ARE ON THE BACK OF THIS PAGE. ONCE YOU HAVE INSTALLED YOUR LINERS, REPOSITION THE FRONT SEATS AS DESIRED.
RETENTION DISC INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
In the packaging your liners arrived in, please locate the hardware bag
containing the four (4) retention discs with the Velcro® loop pad attached.
The retention discs will be installed in your factory carpet to aid in
securing your liners in place. The addition of the retention discs will not
damage your carpet and they can easily be removed at any time.
To ensure that the anchors will align with the Velcro® pads on the back of the
liner, first place the liners in the vehicle, adjusting them to the proper
fit. Then, pull up a corner of your liner as shown in the photo below and
attach the retention disc to the center of Velcro® pad on the liner. Lower the
raised edge and note the position where the anchor screw touches the vehicle
carpet. There are many ways to mark this location; here is one easy way:
- Apply a couple of strip of masking tape directly to the carpet underneath the retention disc. When the disc is lowered, it will pierce the tape and mark the location.
