IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using the electrical appliance, the below basic safety precautions should be followed:

  1. Read all instructions.
  2. Before use check that the voltage power corresponds to the one shown on the rating label found on the appliance.
  3. Do not let the supply cord hang over edge of a table or counter.
  4. Do not leave the product unattended while it is in use, especially when children are present.
  5. Do not immerse power cord, plug, or product in water or other liquids. If the product falls into water, immediately disconnect from the mains power outlet. Do not touch or reach into the water.
  6. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
  7.  Never operate this product if it has a damaged Power Cord or plug, is not working properly, has been dropped or damaged, or if the Base has been exposed to water or other liquids. Do not attempt to examine or repair this product yourself. Any repairs to the product should be carried out by a qualified electrical person only or the product must be disposed.
  8. Do not operate the appliance with a damage cord or plug or after the appliance malfunction or has been damaged in any manner.
  9. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by qualified electrical person in order to avoid a hazard or the product must be disposed of.
  10. This appliance is not intended for used by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instructions concerning use of the appliances by a person responsible for their safety.
  11. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
  12. Avoid contacting moving parts.
  13. Blades are sharp, handle with care.
  14. The use of any attachments not supplied with the product may cause fire, electric shock or injury.
  15. To prevent damage to the blade and/or the electric motor the appliance must not be used for blending hard and dry substance.
  16. Unplug from mains power outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning.
  17. To protect against risk of electrical shock do not put the electric motor unit or power cord in water or other liquid.
  18. Do not use outdoors.
  19. Keep hands and utensils out of the blending jug while blending to reduce the risk of severe injury to persons or damage to the blender. A scraper may be used but must be used only when the blender is not running.
  20. To reduce the risk of injury, never place the cutter-assembly blades on the base without attaching it to the jar properly.
  21. Always operate the blender with the jar cover in place.
  22. Warning: never use hot liquids or run the appliance empty.
  23. Be careful of potential injury from misuse.
  24. Care must be taken when handling the sharp cutting blades, emptying the bowl and during cleaning.
  25. Always disconnect the appliance from mains power if it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.
  26. Switch OFF the appliance and disconnect from mains power before changing accessories or approaching parts that move in use.
  27. This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
  28. Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments,
  29. Farmhouses,
  30. By clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments,
  31. Bed and breakfast type environments.
  32. Be careful if hot liquid is poured into the blender it can be ejected out of the appliance due to a sudden steaming.
  33. CAUTION: In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the thermal cut-out, this appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by the utility.
  34. For cleaning, please refer to “CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE” section.

WARNING! Do not blend hot liquids. To prevent scalding, DO NOT process boiling liquids or hot ingredients in the blender. Allow hot ingredients to cool down below 400C before placing them in the blender.

IMPORTANT!
To prevent damage to the electric motor, the maximum operating time is 1 minute. Allow it to rest for at least 2 minutes before using it again. After 5 cycles of operation, allow the blender (electric motor) to cool down to room temperature, allow it to cool down for approx. 30 minutes before using it again.

Note: The appliance incorporated with a non-self resetting thermal motor protection circuit to protect the motor from overheating. If the motor shuts OFF while in use, unplug the unit from main power outlet. Remove the blending jar from motor unit and free the blade of any obstructions. Allow the unit to cool down for at least 1 hour. After then, plug the unit back into mains power for normal operation.

KNOW YOUR BLENDER

NOTE: The large travel bottle is portable and used for holding juice for drinking. The Max. capacity of glass jar is 1750mL.

FOR THE INITIAL USE

  1. Unpack the appliance and place all parts on a horizontal surface.
  2. Immerse the jar, jar lid and measuring cup in warm soapy water and rinse them and dry. Never immerse motor unit in water for cleaning to prevent the risk of electric shock.

CAUTION : The blades are very sharp. Please handle carefully.

OPERATION

VEGETABLE/FRUIT JUICE

  1. Lay the appliance on a flat horizontal surface and make sure it is unplugged and the “Speed knob” turned to “OFF” position before operating.

  2. Prepare the vegetable/fruit well. Take carrot for example. First, peel the carrot and cut it into cubes with a size of 15mm15mm15mm, then remove the measuring cup and jar lid. Put the carrot cubes into the jar. Usually certain amount of purified water has to be added to facilitate the smooth running of appliance. The proportion of the carrot and water is 3:2 (1050g Carrot + 700g Water). The amount of mixture should not exceed the maximum level as indicated on the jar.
    NOTE : Never use hot liquids or run the appliance empty.

  3. Close the jar lid and measuring cup well in position. The jar lid must be closed properly, or the appliance cannot be activated.

  4. Install the jar onto the motor unit. Make sure that the jar is installed correctly.

  5. Connect the appliance with power source.

  6. Turn the “Speed knob” to “ON” position, and the indicators of the four buttons will light up. Press the “Pulse” button, and its corresponding indicator lights solidly while the indicators of the other three buttons will be OFF, then the appliance starts to work. Alternatively, you can turn the “Speed knob” to the speed settings ranged between “Min” and “Max” to extract juice at your desired speed.
    NOTE : The speed cannot be adjusted by the “Speed knob” when the appliance is running under the “Pulse” mode.
    NOTE : During the working process of extracting juice, if you want to stop the appliance, you can release the “Pulse” button or turn the “Speed knob” to “OFF” position.

  7. During operation, you can remove the measuring cup and add ingredients into the jar through the center opening on the jar lid, and then replace the measuring cup.
    NOTE : Do not remove the jar from the motor unit during working process. If it is necessary to remove the jar, please firstly turn off the appliance to stop operation and then remove the jar.

  8. After finishing extracting juice, the appliance will stop working automatically and the indicators of four buttons will light up. You can also turn the “Speed knob” to “OFF” position to stop the appliance when you achieve the desired blending result.

  9. Unplug the appliance and then remove the jar from the motor unit. Carefully remove the jar lid, then pour and serve.

CAUTION: The appliance must be disconnected from mains power before removing the jar.

SMOOTHIE

  1. Lay the appliance on a flat horizontal surface and make sure it is unplugged and the “Speed knob” is turned to “OFF” position before operating.

  2. Put the ingredients into the jar. Make sure the amount of ingredients does not exceed the maximum level as indicated on the jar. Follow the recipe and instructions below.

  3. Close the jar lid and measuring cup well in position. The jar lid must be closed well in position, or the appliance cannot be activated.

  4. Install the jar onto the jar base. Make sure that the jar is installed correctly in position.

  5. Connect the appliance into a mains power outlet socket.

  6. Turn the “Speed knob” to “ON” position, and the indicator lights on the four buttons will light up. Press the “Smoothie” button, and its corresponding indicator lights up solidly while the indicators of the other three buttons will extinguish, then the appliance starts to work. Alternatively, you can turn the “Speed knob” to the speed settings ranged between “Min” and “Max” at the “Speed knob” to make smoothie at your desired speed.
    NOTE : The speed cannot be adjusted by the “Speed knob” when the appliance is running under the “Smoothie” mode.
    NOTE : During the blending process, if you want to stop the blender, press “Smoothie” button again or turn the “Speed knob” to “OFF” position.

  7. During operation, you can remove the measuring cup on the lid and add ingredients into the jar through the center opening on jar lid cover, and then place the measuring cup.
    NOTE : Do not remove the jar from the motor unit during blending. If it is necessary to remove the jar, first turn OFF the appliance and then remove it.
    CAUTION : Minimum 30 minutes rest time must be maintained between two continuous cycles.

  8. After finish making the smoothie, the appliance will stop working automatically and the indicator lights on the four buttons will light up. During operation, you can turn the “Speed knob” to “OFF” position to stop the appliance when you achieve the desired blending result.

  9.  Unplug the appliance from mains power and then remove the jar from the motor unit. Carefully remove the jar cover, then pour and serve.
    CAUTION : For electrical safety. The appliance must be unplugged from mains power before removing the jar.

ICE CRUSH

  1. Lay the appliance on a flat horizontal surface and make sure it is unplugged and the “Speed knob” is turned to “OFF” position before operating.

  2. Prepare some ice cubes with a size of 15mm15mm15mm, then remove the measuring cup and jar lid. Put the ice cubes into the jar. Purified water has to be added to facilitate the smooth running of appliance. The proportion of the ice and water is 2:3. The amount of mixture should not exceed the maximum level as indicated on the jar.

  3. Close the jar lid and measuring cup correctly in position. The jar lid must be closed properly, or the appliance cannot be activated.

  4. Install the jar onto the jar base. Make sure that the jar is installed correctly in position.

  5. Connect the appliance into a mains power outlet socket.

  6. Turn the “Speed knob” to “ON” position, and the indicator lights on the four buttons will light up. Press the “Ice crush” button, and its corresponding indicator light will light up solidly while the indicators of the other three buttons will be switched OFF and the blender will start to work. Alternatively, you can turn the “Speed knob” to the speed settings ranged between “Min” and “Max” at the “Speed knob” to crush ice at your desired speed.
    NOTE : The speed cannot be adjusted by the “Speed knob” when the appliance is running in the “Ice crush” mode.
    NOTE : When crushing ice, if you want to stop the blender, press on the “Ice crush” button again or turn the “Speed knob” to “OFF” position.

  7. During operation, you can remove the measuring cup and then add ingredients into the jar through the center opening of jar lid cover during operation, and then replace the measuring cup.
    NOTE : Do not remove the jar from the motor unit during working process. If it is necessary to remove the jar, first turn OFF the appliance and then remove it.
    CAUTION : Minimum 30minutes rest time must be maintained between two continuous cycles.

  8. After finishing crushing ice, the appliance will stop working automatically and the indicator lights on the four buttons will light up. During operation, you can turn the “Speed knob” to “OFF” position to stop the appliance when you achieve the desired blending result.

  9. Unplug the appliance and then remove the jar from the motor unit. Carefully remove the jar cover, then pour and serve.
    CAUTION : The appliance must be disconnected from mains power before removing the jar.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

NOTE : Before cleaning, make sure the appliance is unplugged and the “Speed knob” is turned to “OFF” position.

The Auto-clean feature can help to clean the blender and blade assembly easily and rapidly in complete safety. Follow the operation of (1)-(4) as below to perform the auto-clean function.

  1. After use, reassemble the jar and pour about 400-500ml warm water into it.
  2. Turn the “Speed knob” to “ON” position, and the indicator lights on the four buttons will light up. Press the “Auto clean” button once, and its corresponding indicator light will light up solidly while the indicator lights on the other three buttons will be OFF, then the appliance will begin the auto cleaning function.
  3. When finished, the appliance will stop working automatically and the indicator lights on the four buttons will light up.
  4. Unplug the appliance and remove the jar from the motor unit, then rinse the jar under running water.
  5. Wipe the outer surface of motor unit with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleansers. Never immerse in water or other liquid for cleaning.
  6. All parts except the motor unit are dishwasher safe. You can also wash the parts, except the motor unit, in warm, soapy water.
  7. Dry all parts and then reassemble them again. But store the appliance without the jar lid closed completely to allow air to circulate and prevent jar odours.
  8. If any problem has been encountered during use, never disassemble the Motor Unit by yourself. There are no user serviceable parts inside. For electrical safety, any repairs to the product should be carried out by qualified electrical person only.

WARNING:

  1. The blades are very sharp. Handle carefully when cleaning.
  2. Do not use abrasive cleaners. Never immerse the Motor Unit in water for cleaning.
