B. Power ON and Pairing
- Press and hold the “ ” button to turn On the device. A series of tones will sound. If it is in clock mode, press the “M button (2)” to switch to Bluetooth mode, the “ ” icon is fast blinking on display.
- Then activate the Bluetooth function in your mobile device (such as Mobile Phone or Personal Computer), the device will enter to Bluetooth searching mode automatically, if not, tap the related selection to manually enter to searching mode. (refer to your device’s manual when necessary)
- Your mobile device should show “BTS135” in list, and then select it for pairing. Waiting for some seconds and you will see connected message as shown on your mobile device. (For some Bluetooth devices, you may need to input “0000” as pairing password)
- If pairing is successful, a series of tones will sound and the “ ” icon will constantly show on the display.
- Now, you can start to music play from the mobile device by its music player program.
- Press and hold the “ ” button to turn Off the device when it is not in use.
- Press once the “ ” button to turn on/off the display
Note: For saving battery energy, in Bluetooth mode, the Bluetooth Speaker will turn off when no device is in paired in 8 minutes. To restart the device, press and hold the “ (1)” button to turn on.
C. Bluetooth Music Playing Control Function
- In playing music, press “ (6)” button to pause the music. To resume the music press it again.
- Press once the “ ∧ (7)” button to increase the volume level.
- Press once the “ ∨ (5)” button to decrease the volume level.
- When maximum or minimum volume is reached, a series of tones will sound.
- Press and hold the “ ∧ (7)” button to go to the next music.
- Press and hold the “ ∨ (5)” button to go to the previous music.
D. Clock Setting
- In power on mode, press the “M button (2)” to switch to clock mode if it is in other mode.
- Press and hold the “M button (2)” to go to hour set, the number of hour will blink on LED display.
- Press or pressing the “∨ (5)” or “∧ (7)” button for adjusting the hour time as current time.
- Short press the “ (6)” button to confirm the hour time set and go for Minute set. The number of minute will blink on LED display;
- Press or pressing the “∨ (5)” or “∧ (7)” button for adjusting the minute time as current time.
- Short press the “ (6)” button to confirm the minute time set.
- The clock set is completed and clock time is showing on LED display.
- Short press the “ (6)” button to switch 12/24 hours display.
E. FM Function
Auto Tune Radio Frequency:
- In Bluetooth mode, press the “M button (2)” to enter into FM mode.
- Press and hold the “ (6)” button to enter into auto searching mode.
- The FM radio will search up the frequency from the beginning (87.5 MHz) to the end(108.0MHz) and will save the searched stations automatically, Max. 30 stations can be saved.
- When finished searching, it will play from the firstly searched station(P01) automatically.
FM playing control:
- Press the “ (6)” button to pause the playing. To resume, press it again.
- Press and hold the “∧ (7)” button to go to next station.
- Press and hold the “∨ (5)” button to go to previous station.
- Press the “∧ (7)” button to increase the volume level.
- Press the “∨ (5)” button to decrease the volume level.
- To switch back to Bluetooth mode, press twice the “M button (2)”.
F. Hand Free Function
- When there is an incoming call during Bluetooth music playing mode;
- The ringing sound will up and the playing music will pause automatically.
- Press “ (6)” button to pick up the call if you want.
- Now you have hand-free function with the Bluetooth speaker.
- Press “ (6)” button again to hang up the call when finished. And the paused music will start to play automatically.
- Press and hold “ (6)” button for 3 seconds to ignore the incoming call.
Tip: speak to the “MIC (8)” hole direct with distance in 30 ~ 60cm to get the best speaker phone performance when necessary.
G. Redial for Last Call Function
- To redial for last called number by the Bluetooth Speaker, even it is in music playing mode.
- Press twice the “ (6)” button to enter redial function, the playing music will pause and switch to hand-free function for redial.
- Press the “ (6)” button again to hang up the redial call.
- Make sure that your mobile phone has have last dial call used, if not, the redial for last call function cannot be activated.
H. Timer Function
- In power on mode, press the “Timer button (3)” to switch to timer mode if it is in other mode; A timer icon is shown on the bottom left corner.
- Press the “∨ (5) or “∧ (7)” to adjust timer (Max. 300 minutes).
- Press the “Timer button (3)” to confirm the setting.
- Timer function will start counting down in last minutes.
- The timer rings after the countdown is done.
- Press the “Timer button (3)” to deactivate the ringing.
I. About the rechargeable Battery & Charging
- Regarding the lithium rechargeable battery
- This Bluetooth Speaker has an internal, non–user replaceable battery. For best results, the first time you use this Bluetooth Speaker, let it charge for about 2 ~ 3 hours or until the battery icon shows the battery is fully charged.
- For maintain the battery life and performance, if speaker isn’t used for a while, the battery might need to be recharged. Charge the battery at least once every month.
- To recharge the built-in battery:
- Connect the Bluetooth Speaker’s “Micro USB socket (d)” with the Computer’s USB port through USB cable. The battery bar will show on the display, it is in charging.
- Disconnect the USB cable when it is done.
J. Disconnect from paired device
- Press and hold the “ (6)” button to switch to new “Searching /Pairing” mode, the paired device will be disconnected.
- Or, you can choose “Disconnect” from Bluetooth paired device list on your mobile device.
- In this case; the Bluetooth Speaker will turn back into “Searching /Pairing” mode in seconds, a series of tones will sound and the “ ” icon is fast blinking on display.
- Now, you can process for new mobile device pair or power Off the Bluetooth Speaker as you wanted.
K. Auto re-connect with paired device and New pairing
- Every time you turn On the Bluetooth speaker and enter into Bluetooth mode; it will firstly search for the mobile device, which has been paired previously and still in record. The Bluetooth Speaker will re-connect this mobile device as priority if it is in Bluetooth searching device mode.
- If not found in some seconds, the Bluetooth Speaker then is turn into new pairing mode internally.
- Now you can process for new mobile device pair. (refer to item D.2~5 methods)
L. Low Power Reminder And Auto power off
- The low battery icon will flash when low battery power. When you see this reminder, please connect the device to the USB power for charging, if you still want to use the device.
- If not, the Bluetooth Speaker will power Off automatically when the battery is keeping low energy level in some minutes.
- In this case, the device cannot be turned On, until you recharging the battery at least 10 ~ 15 minutes, because the rechargeable battery has not enough energy.
M. Reset the devic e
- In some circumstances the device’s function may hanging and need to reset. To reset the Bluetooth speaker;
- To do a reset, use a 0.8 mm stick or similar object (like a tooth stick), and carefully insert the stick, use the dull side, into the Reset hole “ e ” until you feel to hit the end. Actually that is the tact switch button surface.
- Then add a bit of force and you will get a click sound and feeling return from switch. The device is reset.
Important: Do not reset the device if it is in properly working.
N. Splash Proof Handling
- The Bluetooth Speaker can handle a brief jet of water on its surface (IPX5 water resistant). However, it should never be operated under running water and under no circumstance it should never be fully immersed in water. Before use the Shower Bluetooth speaker in bathroom, make sure that the splash proof “Rubber Seal Cover (e)” is tighten closed at the right position.
- After used in bathroom, always wipe the outside of the cabinet thoroughly if it becomes wet with moisture or water splashes. This will help to prevent the internal parts of the unit from entry of water and possible moisture damage.
Note: If water get into the USB socket, please always clean the water thoroughly before charging the device.
O. Trouble Shooting
No power| · Check battery is it charged with enough
energy.
