SAFETY WARNING

  • Before the first use, read the instructions for use carefully, look at the picture and store the instructions for use for future use. Consider the instructions for use as a part of the appliance and pass them on to any other user of the appliance.
  • Check whether the data on the type label corresponds with the voltage in your socket. The power supply plug has to be connected to a socket of the electrical installation that conforms of respective standards.
  • Never use the appliance if its power cord or plug is damaged, if it does not work properly, if it fell down and was damaged or if it fell into water. In this case take the appliance to a special service to check its safety and proper function.
  • The appliance is designed exclusively for private use and for envisaged purposes. This appliance is not fit for commercial use.
  • This appliance is not intended for outdoor use.
  • Do not insert to or take the plug out of a socket with wet hands and do not pull the power cord!
  • This product can be used by children at the age of 8 years and older and people with reduced physical or mental abilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they are supervised or if they were instructed regarding use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand possible risks. Children must not play with the appliance. User cleaning and maintenance must not be performed by children if they are younger than 8 years and unsupervised. Children younger than 8 years must be kept out of reach of the appliance and its power cord.
  • The appliance is not intended for use in damp or wet environments and in an environment with the risk of fire or explosion.
  • The appliance must not be immersed into water or other liquids (even partially) and it must not be used in close proximity of bathtubs, showers, washbasins, or other water containers, including a swimming pool. If the appliance falls to water, do not take it out! First of all unplug the power cord from the socket and only then take out the ventilator. In this case, take the appliance to a special service to check its safety and proper function.
  • When handling the appliance, try to prevent injury (e.g. burns).
  • For additional protection, we recommend the installation of current protection (RCD) with the nominal release current not exceeding 30 mA into the electric circuit of the power supply in the bathroom. Ask a control technician or an electrician for advice.
  • The appliance must not be placed directly under the electric socket. It cannot be placed close to a room corner but at least 90 cm from the left-hand or right-hand wall, at least 90 cm from the back wall and it must be in a distance of at least 90 cm from objects made of flammable substances.
  • Use the appliance in the working position only and at places with no risk of turning over and in a sufficient distance from flammable objects (e. g. curtains, drapes, wood, etc.), heat sources (e. g. fireplace, heater, stove, radiators, etc.) and wet surfaces (e.g. sinks, wash-basins, etc.).
  • Never cover the appliance; thus you will prevent the risk of interior fire. Do not put the switched-on appliance on soft surfaces (e.g. on a bed, towels, wipers, carpets).
  • Always unplug the heater when transferring it to another place.
  • The appliance is filled with an exact amount of special oil. Repairs that require opening the oil tank can be performed by a manufacturer or authorized service centre only. If there is an oil leak, please contact an authorized service center.
  • When disposing of the heater please follow regulations concerning disposing of oil.
  • Before every connection or disconnection of the appliance from the power supply make sure that switch A5 is in 0 positions.
  • After finishing work, always disconnect the appliance from the power supply by taking the plug of the power cord out of the electric socket.
  • Check the condition of the power cord of the appliance regularly.
  • The power cord must not be damaged by sharp or hot objects, or open fire, it must not be sunk into water or bent over sharp edges.
  • If you need to use an extension cord, it has to be uncorrupted and it has to comply with the valid standards.
  • If the power cord of the appliance is corrupted, it has to be replaced by the manufacturer, its service technician or a similarly qualified person so as to prevent dangerous situations.
  • Never use the appliance for any other purpose than for the intended purpose described in these instructions for use!
  • The producer does not undertake any responsibility for damage caused by improper use of the appliance (e.g. deterioration of food, injury, burn, fire etc.) and its guarantee does not cover the appliance in the case of failure to comply with the safety warnings above.

DESCRIPTION AND EQUIPMENT OF THE APPLIANCE (Fig. 1)

A – Oil heater

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

MOUNTING (Fig.2)
Take out the warmer and all the parts from packing carton

  1. Make the warmer be on its head and hold it by your hands
  2. Place the footplate on the top of both radiation fins
  3. Secure the footplate on the warmer with specified U-type bolt and wing nut
  4. Tighten the screw
  5. Make the warmer stand erect

PLACING

The warmer should be away from the wall or other objects such as furniture, a curtain for at least 90 cm; do ensure that the power supply corresponds to that on the nameplate; the temperature controller switch and power switch are at “O” position; plug in the attaching plug.
Caution: Oil radiator is hot for some time after turning off! Do not move it until it cools
down! Use radiator only with mounted casters!

CONTROL

  1. Setting temperature
    The temperature controller can regulate room temperature. Turn the temperature controller clockwise to increase the temperature; turn it anti-clockwise to reduce the temperature until the appropriate temperature is reached.

  2. Setting power

    • Power switch is a rotary switch, choose one of options:
      position 1: 600 W (ETA0560) and 800 W (ETA1560)
      position 2: 900 W (ETA0560) and 1200 W (ETA1560)
      position 3: 1500 W (ETA0560) and 2000 W (ETA1560)

    • The working indicator will light.

MAINTENANCE

Turn off the appliance before any maintenance, unplug the fork of the power cord from the power supply socket and let it cool down! Do not use rough and aggressive detergents! Carry out surface maintenance only (wipe off dust etc.) For removing old dust or other impurities, use a soft damp cloth. Cleaning dust and impurities settled inside the radiator can be made by their vacuuming or blowing out. Store the cooled-down appliance at a safe and dry place, out of reach of children and incapacitated people.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

If the dimensions allow, there are labels of materials used for the production of packing, components and accessories as well as their recycling on all parts. The symbols specified on the product or in the accompanying documentation mean that the used electrical or electronic products must not be disposed of together with municipal waste. For proper disposal, hand them over at special collection places where they will be accepted free of charge. Suitable disposal of the product can help to maintain valuable natural resources and to prevent possible negative impacts on the environment and human health, which could be the possible consequences of improper waste disposal. Ask for more details at the local authorities or at a collection site. Fines can be imposed for improper disposal of this type of waste in agreement with the national regulations.

More extensive maintenance or maintenance requiring intervention in the inner parts of the appliance must be carried out by a professional service! Failure to comply with the instructions of the manufacturer will lead to the expiration of the right to guarantee repair!
