IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  • Use the unit only as described in this operating manual.
  • Remove all the packaging and marketing materials from the unit before the first use.
  • Make sure the mains voltage corresponds to the values on the rating plate.
  • For further protection, it is recommended to install a current protector (RCD) with the actuating current not exceeding 30 mA in the power circuit of the bathroom. Please consult an electrician.
  • The unit reaches high temperatures during operation and remains hot for some time after being turned off. Do not touch the hot surfaces. Use the handles and buttons. There is a risk of being burned.
  • The unit may not be cleaned, stored, or covered until it has cooled down completely.
  • Do not leave the unit unattended while it is turned on or even only plugged into the wall outlet.
  • If you need to lay the unit aside during use, always switch it off and lay it on a fireproof surface.
  • Before plugging in or unplugging the unit from the wall outlet, make sure the switch is OFF.
  • When disconnecting the unit from the wall outlet, never pull the power cord. Grasp the plug and disconnect it by pulling.
  • Persons with limited movement capacity, reduced sensory perception, insufficient mental capacity or those who are unaware of the proper handling should use the product only under the supervision of a responsible, aware person.
  • Take extra care when using the unit near children.
  • Don’t let anyone use the unit as a toy.
  • Turn the unit off, unplug the power cord from the wall outlet, and let the unit cool before cleaning and after use.
  • Do not let the power cord hang loosely over the edge of a table. Make sure the power cord does not touch hot surfaces.
  •  Do not let the unit hang loosely on the power cord.
  •  Do not use the unit in an environment with explosive gases or flammable substances (solvents, varnishes, adhesives, etc.).
  •  Do not use hairspray or other spray products when the unit is in use.
  • Keep the appliance clean; prevent foreign matter from entering the grille openings. It might damage the appliance, cause a short circuit, or fire.
  • During use, do not cover the input or output grilles of the unit.
  • Do not use abrasive or chemically aggressive substances to clean the appliance.
  •  Do not use the unit if it does not operate properly, or if it has been dropped, damaged or exposed to any liquids. Refer the unit to an authorized service center for testing and repair.
  • Never use the appliance if the supply cable or plug has been damaged; have the defect repaired immediately by an authorised service center.
  •  Do not wrap the power cord around the unit.
  • The appliance is not designed for outdoor use.
  • Do not immerse the supply cable, the plug, or the appliance itself in water or any other liquid.
  • Do not use any other accessories except those recommended by the manufacturer.
  • Never repair the appliance yourself. Instead, contact an authorized service centre for repair. Failure to follow the manufacturer‘s instructions may cause refusal of warranty repair.
    NOTE:
    Do not use the unit near bathtubs, basins or other vessels filled with water.
    When using the unit in a bathroom, make sure you switch it off immediately after use, and disconnect it from the wall outlet, as the proximity of water and any contact of the unit with water is very dangerous, even if the unit is switched off.
    Do not touch the unit with damp or wet hands, and do not handle it if your feet are wet, or you are barefoot.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

The unit is designed to dry human hair. Do not use it on wigs or animals.

  1. Dry your hair with a towel after washing.

  2. Brush your hair. Do not use hairspray or other flammable substances.

  3. Uncoil the supply cable. Connect the power cord plug to the wall outlet.

  4. Select the desired air speed by the regulator (8).
    O = unit is switched off.
    I = very low air flow
    II = very strong air flow

  5. Select the desired air temperature using the regulator (7).
    I = low temperature
    II = mean temperature
    III = high temperature.

  6. During drying, style your hair using a comb. Keep a safe distance in order to avoid burning the hair and skin, or sucking your hair into the inlet grille.

  7. The COOL function (flow of cold air) – is used for quick cooling of your hair, and subsequently gives better hold to the hairstyle. To activate this function, press button (3).

  8. When putting down the unit during use, always switch it off.

  9.  The removable nozzle enables aiming a narrow air stream towards the comb or brush you are using on your hair.

  10.  Switch the unit off after use.

  11. When using the unit in a bathroom, make sure you switch it off immediately after use, and disconnect it from the wall outlet, as the proximity of water and any contact of the unit with water are very dangerous, even if the unit is switched off.

  12.  The hanging loop enables you to hang up the unit to store it.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

WARNING!
Always disconnect the power supply cable from the mains outlet before cleaning the appliance.
Make sure the appliance has cooled down before handling it.
Only use a wet cloth for cleaning the surface; never use detergents or hard objects, as they may damage it. Check the cleanliness of inlet and outlet grilles after each use. If necessary, press the button for releasing of the inlet grille (8), remove inlet grille, clean it and replace.
Never clean the unit under running water, do not rinse it, and do not submerge it in water!

The motor is not running.

| The plug is inserted into the socket incorrectly or insufficiently.| ****

Check the plug connection.

The socket is not live.| Check to make sure voltage is present, e.g. by using another appliance.
The supply cable is damaged.| Refer the unit to an authorized service centre for testing and repair.

| The air flow is incorrect or too low and, consequently, the motor overheating fuse has been activated.| Disconnect the power supply cable from the socket. Check and clear the air passage on the inlet and outlet grilles.

Let the unit cool.

REPAIR & MAINTENANCE

Any extensive maintenance or repair that requires access to the inner parts of the product must be performed by an expert service centre.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

  • Packaging materials and obsolete appliances should be recycled.
  • The transport box may be disposed of as sorted waste.
  • Polyethylene bags shall be handed over for recycling.
