Dear customer, thank you for purchasing our product. Please read the operating instructions carefully before putting the appliance into operation and keep the instructions including the warranty, the receipt, and, if possible, the box with the internal packing.

GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  • The appliance is designed exclusively for private use and for envisaged purposes. This appliance is not fit for commercial use.

  • Do not use it outdoors (except if it is designed to be used outdoors). Keep it away from sources of heat, direct sunlight, humidity (never dip it into any liquid), and sharp edges. Do not use the appliance with wet hands. If the appliance is humid or wet, unplug it immediately. Do not put it in water.

  • This product can be used by children at the age of 8 years and older and people with reduced physical or mental abilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they are supervised or if they were instructed regarding the use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand possible risks. Children must not play with the appliance. User cleaning and maintenance must not be performed by children if they are younger than 8 years and unsupervised. Children younger than 8 years must be kept out of reach of the appliance and its power cord.

  • Always unplug the appliance from the power supply if you leave it unattended and before assembly, disassembly or cleaning.

  • Never use the appliance if the supply cord or fork is damaged, if it‘s not working properly or it has fallen on the ground and become damaged. In such cases, the device shall be taken to an expert service center to be checked for safety and correct functionality.

  • If the supply cord of this device is damaged, the cord must be replaced by the manufacturer, its servicing technician or a similarly qualified person to avoid hazard.

  • Before replacing accessories or accessible parts, which move during operation, before assembly and disassembly, before cleaning or maintenance, turn off the appliance and disconnect it from the mains by pulling the power cord from the power socket!

  • Min. height of space needed above the top surface of the oven is 200 mm.

  • Use only kitchenware, which is suitable for use in microwave ovens.

  • When food is heated in kitchenware of plastics or paper, check the oven from time to time to prevent combustion.

  • The microwave oven is intended for heating up food and beverages.
    Drying of food or clothes and warming of heating blankets, house shoes, sponges, damp textile, and similar objects may lead to the danger of injury, combustion, or fire.

  • If there is smoke, turn off the appliance or pull out the fork from the socket and leave the door open to prevent the spreading of a potential fire.

  • Microwave heating of beverages may cause delayed boil, which needs to be kept in mind when holding the cup.

  • The content of baby bottles and baby food must be stirred or shaken and the temperature must be checked before consumption to prevent burning.

  • Eggs in shells and whole hard-boiled eggs must not be heated in microwave ovens, because they can explode even after the microwave heating is finished.

  • The oven should be cleaned thoroughly and potential remains of food removed.

  • Not keeping the oven clean might lead to damaging its surface, which could negatively impact the lifetime of the appliance and result in a dangerous situation.

  • Liquids and other foods may not be heated in closed containers – they are apt to explode.

  • When the appliance is in operation, prevent pets, plants or insects to get in contact with it.

  • When cleaning or putting it away, switch off the appliance and always pull out the plug from the socket (pull on the plug, not the cable) if the appliance is not being used  and remove the attached accessories.

  • Do not operate the machine without supervision. If you should leave the workplace, always switch the machine off or remove the plug from the socket (pull the plug itself, not the lead).

  • To protect children from the dangers posed by electrical appliances, make sure that the cable is hanging low and that children do not have access to the appliance.

  • Use only original spare parts.

  • Pay careful attention to the following “Special Safety Instructions for this unit“.

SPECIAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR THIS UNIT
PRECAUTIONS TO AVOID POSSIBLE EXPOSURE TO EXCESSIVE MICROWAVE ENERGY
(a) Do not attempt to operate this oven with the door open since this can result in harmful exposure to microwave energy. It is important not to break or tamper with the safety interlocks.
(b) Do not place any object between the oven front face and the door or allow soil or cleaner residue to accumulate on sealing surfaces. (c) WARNING: If the door or door seals are damaged, the oven must not be operated until it has been repaired by a competent person.

ADDENDUM
If the apparatus is not maintained in a good state of cleanliness, its surface could be degraded and affect the lifespan of the apparatus and lead to a dangerous situation.
IMPORTANT SAFETY  INSTRUCTIONS

  1. It is hazardous for anyone other than a competent person to remove a cover which gives protection against exposure to microwave energy.

  2. Only allow children to use the oven without supervision when adequate instructions have been given so that the child is able to use the oven in a safe way and understand the hazards of improper use.

  3. Microwave heating of beverages can result in delayed eruptive boiling, therefore take care when handling the container.

  4. Only use utensils suitable for use in microwave ovens.

  5. The oven should be cleaned regularly and any food deposits should be removed.

  6. Read and follow the specific:” PRECAUTIONS TO AVOID POSSIBLE EXPOSURE TO EXCESSIVE MICROWAVE ENERGY”.

  7. When heating food in plastic or paper containers, keep an eye on the oven due to the possibility of ignition.

  8. If smoke is observed, switch off or unplug the appliance and keep the door closed in order to stifle any flames.

  9. Do not overcook food.

  10. Do not use the oven cavity for storage purposes. Do not store items, such as bread, cookies, etc. inside the oven.

  11. Remove wire twist-ties and metal handles from paper or plastic containers/bags before placing them in the oven.

  12. Install and locate this oven only in accordance with the installation instructions provided. To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, injury to a person, or exposure to  excessive microwave oven energy when using your appliance, follow basic precautions, including the following:

  13. Use this appliance only for its intended uses as described in the manual. Do not use corrosive chemicals or vapors in this appliance. This oven is specially designed to heat. It is not designed for industrial or laboratory use.

  14. Do not use this oven near water, in a wet basement or near a swimming pool.
    The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when the appliance is operating. Keep the cord away from the heated surface, and do not cover any events on the oven.

  15. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of the table or counter.

To Reduce the Risk of Injury to Persóna Grounding Installation
DANGER
Electric Shock Hazard Touching some of the internal components can cause serious personal injury or death. Do not disassemble this appliance.
WARNING
Electric Shock Hazard Improper use of the grounding can result in electric shock. Do not plug into an outlet until appliance is properly installed and grounded. This appliance must be grounded. In the event of an electrical short circuit, grounding reduces the risk of electric shock by providing an escape wire for the electric current. This appliance is equipped with a cord having a grounding wire with a grounding plug. The plug must be plugged into an outlet that is properly installed and grounded. Consult a qualified electrician or serviceman if the grounding instructions are not completely understood or if doubt exists as to whether the appliance is properly grounded. If it is necessary to use an extension cord, use only a 3-wire extension cord.

  1. A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the risks resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
  2. If a long cord set or extension cord is used.
  1. The marked electrical rating of the cord set or extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance.
  2. The extension cord must be a grounding-type 3-wire cord.
  3. The long cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or triplex over unintentionally.

UTENSILS – CAUTION
Personal Injury Hazard
It is hazardous for anyone other than a competent person to carry out any service or repair operation that involves the removal of a cover that gives protection against exposure to microwave energy. See the instructions on “Materials you can use in microwave oven or be avoided in a microwave oven.” There may be certain non-metallic utensils that are not safe to use for microwaving. If in doubt, you can test the utensil in question following the procedure below.

Utensil Test:

  1. Fill a microwave-safe container with 1 cup of cold water (250ml) along with the utensil in question.
  2. Turn on maximum power for 1 minute.
  3. Carefully feel the utensil. If the empty utensil is warm, do not use it for microwave cooking.
  4. Do not exceed 1 minute of cooking time.
  5. Take out the utensil from the microwave oven.

Materials you can use in a microwave oven

Utensils Remarks
Aluminum foil Shielding only. Small smooth pieces can be used to cover thin

parts of meat or poultry to prevent overcooking. Arcing can occur if foil is too close to oven walls. The foil should be at least 1 inch (2.5cm) away from oven walls.
Browning dish| Follow manufacturer’s instructions. The bottom of the browning dish must be at least 3/16 inch (5mm) above the turntable. Incorrect usage may cause the turntable to break.
Dinnerware| Microwave-safe only. Follow manufacturer’s instructions. Do not use cracked or chipped dishes.
glass jar| Always remove lid. Use only to heat food until just warm. Most glass jars are not heat resistant and may break.
Glassware| Heat-resistant oven glassware only. Make sure there is no metallic trim. Do not use cracked or chipped dishes.
Oven cooking bags| Follow manufacturer’s instructions. Do not close with a metal tie. Make slits to allow steam to escape.
Paper plates and cups| Use for short—term cooking/warming only. Do not leave the oven unattended while cooking.
Paper towels| Use to cover food for reheating and absorbing fat. Use with supervision for a short-term cooking only.
Parchment paper| Use as a cover to prevent splattering or a wrap for steaming.
Plastic| Microwave-safe only. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions. Should be labeled “Microwave Safe”. Some plastic containers soften, as the food inside gets hot. “Boiling bags” and tightly closed plastic bags should be slit, pierced or vented as directed by the package.
Plastic wrap| Microwave-safe only. Use to cover food during cooking to retain moisture. Do not allow plastic wrap to touch food.
Thermometers| Microwave-safe only (meat and candy thermometers).
Wax paper| Use as a cover to prevent splattering and retain moisture.

Plastic foam| The plastic foam may melt or contaminate the liquid inside when exposed to high temperatures.
Wood| Wood will dry out when used in the microwave oven and may split or crack.

DESCRIPTION OF THE CONTROLS

Remove the oven and all materials from the carton and oven cavity.
Your oven comes with the following accessories:

TURNTABLE INSTALLATION
a. Open the oven door and insert the turntable ring. Put the glass tray on the top of the turntable ring, so that the central point of the glass tray sits on the turntable shaft at the bottom of the oven.
b. Never place the glass tray upside down. The glass tray should be restricted.
c. Both glass tray and turntable ring assembly must always be used during cooking,
d. All food and containers of food are always placed on the glass tray for cooking.
e. If glass tray or turntable ring assembly cracks or breaks, contact the nearest authorized service center.

INSTRUCTION FOR USE

Installation
Take the microwave oven out of the box. Remove all packing material and accessories and empty the inside of the oven. Examine the oven for any damage such as dents or broken doors.  Do not install if the oven is damaged.
Cabinet: Remove any protective film found on the microwave oven cabinet surface.
Do not remove the light brown Mica cover that is attached to the oven cavity to protect the magnetron.
1/ Select a level surface that provides enough open space for the intake and outlet vents.
2/ minimum clearance of 7.9 inches (20 cm) is required between the oven and any adjacent walls.Gallet FMOE 202W Microwave Oven - figure

  • Leave a minimum clearance of 12 inches (30cm) above the oven.
  • Do not remove the legs from the bottom of the oven.
  • Blocking the intake and outlet openings can damage the oven.
  • Place the oven as far away from radios and TV as possible. The operation of a microwave oven may cause interference to your radio or TV reception.

4/ Plug your oven into a standard household outlet. Be sure the voltage and the frequency is the same as the voltage and the frequency on the rating label.
WARNING: Do not install an oven over a range cooktop or other heat- producing appliance. If installed near or over a heat source, the oven could be damaged and the warranty would be void.

CONTROL

This microwave oven uses modern electronic control to adjust cooking parameters to meet your needs better for cooking.

CLOCK SETTING
When the microwave oven is electrified, the oven will display „0:00“, the buzzer will ring once.

  1. Press „ CLOCK/PRE-SET” , and the hour figure flash.
  2. Turn „ “ to adjust the hour figures, the input time should be within 0–23.
  3. Press „ CLOCK/PRE-SET ”, and the minute figures will flash.
  4. Turn „ “ to adjust the minute figures, the input time should be within 0–59.
  5. Press „ CLOCK/PRE-SET ” to finish the clock setting. „:“ will flash.

Note:

  1. If the clock is not set, it would not function when powered.
  2. During the process of clock setting, if you press „STOP/CLEAR“, the oven will go back to the previous status automatically.

MICROWAVE COOKING

  1. Press the „MICROWAVE“ key once, and the „P100“ display.
  2. Press „MICROWAVE“ for times or turn „ „ to select the microwave power from100% to 10%. „P100“, „P80“, „P50“, „P30“, „P10“ will display in order.
  3. Press „START/+30SEC./CONFIRM“ to confirm.
  4. Turn „ “ to adjust the cooking time. (The time setting should be 0:05- 95:00.)
  5. Press „START/+30SEC./CONFIRM“ to start cooking.

NOTE: the step quantities for the adjustment time of the coding switch are as follow:
0—1 min: 5 seconds
1—5 min: 10 seconds
5—10 min: 30 seconds
10—30 min: 1 minute
30—95 min: 5 minutes

QUICK START

  1. In waiting for state, press the „START/+30SEC./CONFIRM“ key to cook with 100% power level for 30 seconds. Each press on the same key can increase by 30 seconds. The maximum cooking time is 95 minutes.
  2. During the microwave cooking and time defrost process, press „START/+30SEC./CONFIRM“ to increase the cooking time.
  3. Under the states of the auto menu and weight defrost, cooking time cannot be increased by pressing „START/+30SEC./CONFIRM“.
  4. In waiting states, turn „ “ left to choose the cooking time directly. After choosing the time, press „START/+30SEC./CONFIRM“ to start cooking. The microwave power is 100%.

DEFROST By WEIGHT

  1. Press „WT./ TIME DEFROST“ once, the screen will display „dEF1“.
  2. Turn „ “ to select the food weight. The range of weight is 100-2000 g.
  3. Press the „START/+30SEC./CONFIRM“ key to start defrosting.

DEFROST By TIME

  1. Press „WT./ TIME DEFROST“ twice, the screen will display „dEF2“.
  2. Turn „ “ to select the cooking time. The maximum cooking time is 95 minutes.
  3. Press the „START/+30SEC./CONFIRM“ key to start defrosting.

MULTI-STAGE COOKING
At most 2 sections can be set for cooking. In multi-section cooking, if one section is defrosting, then defrosting shall be placed in the first section.

For example: if you want to defrost the food for 5 minutes, then to cook with 80% microwave power for 7 minutes. The steps are as follows:

  1. Press „WT./ TIME DEFROST“ twice, and the screen will display „dEF2“.
  2. Turn „ “ to select the defrost time till the „5:00“ display.
  3. Press „MICROWAVE“ once, and the screen display „P100“.
  4. Press „MICROWAVE“ once again or turn „ “ to choose 80% microwave power.
  5. Press „START/+30SEC./CONFIRM“ to confirm, and the screen displays „P80“.
  6. Turn „ “ to adjust the cooking time till the oven displays „7:00“.
  7. Press „START/+30SEC./CONFIRM“ to start cooking and the buzzer will sound once for the first section, defrosting time counts down, the buzzer will sound once again entering the second cooking. When cooking is finished, the buzzer sounds five times.

PRE-SET FUNCTION

  1. Set the clock first. (Consult the instruction of the clock setting.)

  2. Input the cooking program. Two stages can be set at most. Defrosting should not be set in the preset function.
    For example: if you want to cook with 80% microwave power for 7 minutes.
    a. Press „MICROWAVE“ once, the screen displays „P100“;
    b. Press „MICROWAVE“ once or turn „ “ to choose 80% microwave power
    c. Press „START/+30SEC./CONFIRM“ to confirm and the screen displays „P80“;
    d. Turn „ “ to adjust the cooking time to 7 minutes;
    After the above steps, please do not press „START/+30SEC./CONFIRM“ to start cooking.

  3. Press „CLOCK/PRE-SET“. The hour figures flash;

  4. Turn „ “ to adjust the hour figures, the input time should be within 0–23.

  5. Press „CLOCK/PRE-SET“, and the minute figures will flash.

  6. Turn „ “ to adjust the minute figures, the input time should be within 0–59.

  7. Press „START/+30SEC./CONFIRM“ to finish setting, buzzer will ring twice when the time arrives, then cooking will start automatically.

LOCK-OUT FUNCTION FOR CHILDREN
Lock: In the waiting state, press „STOP/CLEAR“ for 3 seconds, there will be a long „beep“ denoting entering the children-lock state, and the screen will display the locked indicator .
Lock quitting: In a locked state, press „STOP/CLEAR“ for 3 seconds, there will be a long „beep“ denoting that the lock is released.

AUTO MENU

  1. In waiting states, turn „ “ right to choose the menu from „A-1“ to „A-8“;
  2. Press „START/+30SEC./CONFIRM“ to confirm the menu you choose;
  3. Turn „ “ to choose the default weight as the menu chart.
  4. Press „START/+30SEC./CONFIRM“ to start cooking;
  5. After the cooking finishes, the buzzer sounds five times.

INQUIRING FUNCTION

  1. In states of microwave cooking, press „MICROWAVE“, and the current power will be displayed for 3 seconds. After 3 seconds, the oven will turn back to the former state;
  2. In the cooking state, press „CLOCK/PRE-SET“ to inquire about the time and the time will display for 3 seconds.
  3. In the preset state, press „CLOCK/PRE-SET“ to inquire about the present time, and the preset time will display for 3 seconds.

SPECIFICATION

  1. The buzzer will sound once when turning the multi-function;
  2. „Start/+30Sec/Confirm.“ must be pressed to continue cooking if the door is opened during cooking;
  3. Once the cooking program has been set, „Start/+30Sec/Confirm“ is not pressed in 1 minute. The current time will be displayed. The setting will be canceled.
  4. The buzzer sounds once by the efficient press, inefficient press will be no response.
  5. The buzzer sounds five times to remind you the cooking is finished.

CLEANING

Be sure to disconnect the oven from the power supply.

  1. Clean the inside of the oven after using a slightly damp cloth.
  2. Clean the accessories in the usual way in soapy water.
  3. The door frame and seal and neighboring parts must be cleaned carefully with a damp cloth when they are dirty.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Normal

Microwave oven interfering with TV reception.| Radio and TV reception may interfere when the microwave oven operating. It is similar to the interference of small electrical appliances, like mixers, vacuum cleaners, and electric fans. It is normal.
Dim oven light.| In low-power microwave cooking, the oven light may become dim. It is normal.
Steam accumulating on the door, hot air out of vents.| In cooking, steam may come out of food. Most will get out from the vents. But some may accumulate in cool places like the oven doors. It is normal.
The oven started accidentally with no food in.| It is forbidden to run the unit without any food inside. It is very dangerous.
