FEATURES (pic. 1)
A – case of the welder
A1 – indicator light
A3 – air exhauster nozzle
A2 – welding wire
A4 – power cord
B – foldable lid
C – PE foil roll
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Remove all packaging, take out the appliance and connect the fork of the supplied cord to a socket. The welder is supplied with a roll of PE foil. When welding the first bag, it is necessary to follow the following process:
- Fold back the B lid and unwind a sufficient amount of the foil C so that it exceeds the welder by 2 to 4 cm. Check if the welded spot is dry and clean , and fold the lid B back afterward. Make sure the foil is stretched straight without any creases on the welding wire A2 before welding.
- Press on lid B with both hands in order to make a perfect weld (pic. 2) and wait for the indicator light A1 to turn off (approx. 10 sec). The indicator light signals the PE foil is being welded.
- Remove the rest of the foil by tearing it before folding back the lid B.
Air suction and bag welding
Fill the prepared bag to ¾ max. of its length (capacity) with food or anything
you want to keep fresh. Place the open end of the bag on the welding wire A2
so that the air suction nozzle A3 is inside the bag‘s opening. Check for
creases or folds in place of the future weld. The straighter this area is, the
better. Fold the lid B on and push lightly on the right corner of the lid,
which will trigger the air suction (you will hear the motor), hold the lid in
this position but do not push it all the way down.
Place both hands on the lid and press hard after the suction of air from the
bag is completed (pic. 2).
The weld is done after the indicator light A1 turns off.
Operating times
suction welding pause
30 sec. 10 sec. 80 sec.
Welding without suction
Place the open end of the bag on the welding wire A2 and make sure there are
no folds or creases in place of the weld. Press on lid B with both hands in
order to make a perfect weld (pic. 2).
Attention:
Do not use the welder longer than 15 minutes at a time. Turn it off for 30
min. afterward to let the appliance cool off. The firmness of the weld depends
on the pressure exerted on lid B. Strong pressure = good weld. Weak pressure =
bad weld. After some practice, you will be able to choose the right pressure
to achieve a good quality weld.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Malfunction | Cause | Solution |
---|---|---|
weld on the foil is not tight | insufficient pressure | the lid must be pressed |
strongly with both hands
creases in the seal| smooth out the foil then repeat welding
welds follow too fast after each other| keep the 30-second break between
individual welds
food leftovers or moisture in the weld| remove the food leftovers and dry the
foil
not keeping the time necessary for processing the weld| wait until the control
light turns off
pressing only one side of the lid| press the lid tight with both hands
the welder does not suck air| the bag is not in the sucking nozzle (area)|
place the bag correctly
the bag is stuck together before the nozzle| lift the bag slightly and stretch
the sucking nozzle of the exhauster is clogged| clean the nozzle
Storing the supply cord (A4)
Store the supply cord in the compartment in the back part of the appliance
(pic. 1).
MAINTENANCE
Disconnect the appliance from the el. outlet by pulling out the fork of the supply cord from the socket before each maintenance. Wipe the outer surface with a soft damp cloth after each use. Do not use any rough and abrasive cleaning agents! Never dry the plastic die-cast over a heat source (e.g. stove, el./gas cooker ). Remove residues of the foil from the welding wire by making one weld without using foil. Store the appliance thoroughly clean in a dry, dustless place out of reach of children and persons sui juris.
