• My charge light doesn’t turn green and are you keeping it plugged into the micro USB all the time? thanks in advance
  I do not have an issue with the charge light so I guess my question back to you would be does it still charge the unit after you have been disconnected for a period of time (ie., is it just the light or does it not charge). I do keep my unit plugged in at all times and only disconnect when I want to have a mobile unit. I would also chek my connections…the one from the power cord to the battery does not always sit right and I need a pass or two to make sure it is secure.

• Does this stay on all the time if the power cord is plugged in?
  There is a power button to turn on and off.

• Does it come with a usb cable to charge it?
  I keep my plugged-into AC adapter I forgot if it had a USB cable but I love it for sure.

• Can this also be used when plugged in?
  Yes, it can. The speaker works both in the “plugged in” mode and battery mode. I have noticed that the speaker cuts off power and the Dot is no longer in standby at random times when plugged in. I then have to re-plug the unit in and let the Echo Dot go through resetting itself. Has anyone had this problem? For myself, being hearing impaired, the sound is far better than just the Echo Dot’s speaker. The volume at mid-level more than fills the room. I like the portability and the sound it imparts on the Dot.

• What is the problem, as it will no longer play.? It won’t even take a charge.
  I don’t know haven’t been using mine the playtime on a single charge is nearer as long as they claim. I also don’t care much for their customer care.

• It’s not very loud is there a volume button on the speaker to turn it up?
  You control the volume by using the volume buttons that are on the top of your Echo that you placed on top of the speaker.

• Will it work with Echo Dot third generation?
  The 2nd gen Dot slips in. I think the 3rd gen is a little larger in diameter (but can’t say for sure) so I suspect it won’t unless the soft cover can be slipped off – connections may be different too but can’t say for sure either, not having both modes in front of me. Bottom line, if they say it fits a 2nd gen, it probably doesn’t fit a 3rd gen.

• Does it work with echo dot third generation? I hear ?
  It absolutely does not fit.

• My speaker is no longer working it will charge but no longer power on what I need to do
  I had the same problem after having it for less than six months and threw it away.

• Is this Skywin speaker compatible with the echo dot 3rd Generation?
  yes, that is what I purchased for my echo dot 3rd generation. The setup was simple and works great.
