Gallet MIX 335 Bonifacio 3-In-1 Stick Blender

Dear customer, thank you for purchasing our product. Please read the operating instructions carefully before putting the appliance into operation and keep these instructions including the warranty, the receipt and, if possible, the box with the internal packing.

GENERAL SAFEYTY INSTRUCTIONS

  • Check whether the data on the type label correspond with the voltage in your socket. The power supply plug has to be connected to a socket of electrical installation that conforms to respective standards.
  • Never use the appliance if its power cord or plug is damaged, if it does not work properly, if it fell down and was damaged or if it fell into water. In this case take the appliance to a special service to check its safety and proper function.
  • This appliance must not be used by children. Keep the device and its supply cord out of reach of children. The device may be used by persons with reduced physical or mental abilities or lack of experience and knowledge only if they are under supervision or they have been instructed about using the appliance safely and understand the potential dangers. Children must not play with the appliance.
  • Before replacing accessories or accessible parts, which move during operation, before assembly and disassembly, before cleaning or maintenance, turn off the appliance and disconnect it from the mains by pulling the power cord from the power socket!
  • If the power cord of the appliance is corrupted, it has to be replaced by the producer, its service technician or a similarly qualified person so as to prevent dangerous situations.
  • Be careful when handling the accessories (immersion blender), the knife is very sharp!
  • In case you are going to process hot liquid (mixing a hot soup with vegetables etc.), be careful because it may spurt out of the container because of sudden boil.
  • When handling the sickle-shaped knife, be very careful, especially when removing it from the chopping container, when emptying the container and while cleaning. The knife is very sharp!
  • Always unplug the appliance from power supply if you leave it unattended and before assembly, disassembly or cleaning.
  • The product is intended for home use and similar (in shops, offices and similar workplaces, in hotels, motels and other residential environments, in facilities providing accommodation with breakfast). It is not intended for commercial use!
  • When the appliance is in operation, prevent pets, plants or insects to get in contact with it.
  • Do not insert or take the plug out of a socket with wet hands and do not pull the power cord!
  • The product is intended for home use and similar (in shops, offices and similar workplaces, in hotels, motels and other residential environments, in facilities providing accommodation with breakfast). It is not intended for commercial use!
  • Do not use the appliance in connection with a programmer, a timer or any other appliance that switches the appliance on automatically.
  • In case you are going to process hot liquid (mixing a hot soup with vegetables etc.), be careful because it may spurt out of the container because of sudden boil.
  • Do not use containers without the anti-slip base!
  • Never immerse the drive unit into water or wash it in running water!
  • Use the appliance in the working position only at places with no risk of its turning over and in sufficient distance from heat sources (e.g. heater, electric/gas cooker, hot plate, grill, etc.) and wet surfaces (e.g. sinks, wash basins, etc.).
  • Use the appliance designed for this type only. Using another appliance can represent a risk for the operator.
  • Do not insert the appliance into any body holes.
  • Remove the blade protectors from the knife before use.
  • Before preparation, remove possible packages from food (e.g. paper, a PE bag, etc.).
  • Do not switch on the appliance without ingredients in it!
  • Do not remove the appliance if the drive unit is in operation!
  • Make sure that the power supply cable does not get between the rotating parts of the accessories.
  • Before you remove the appliance or the drive unit from the container, let the rotating parts stop completely.
  • Before emptying the chopping container, first remove the sickle-shaped knife.
  • Do not use the hand blender in containers, in which you heat food at the same time using heat sources (e.g. heater, electric/gas/induction cooker, hot plate etc.).
  • When blending, mixing, beating liquids never put in a bigger amount than specified on the containers and do not exceed the recommended times of processing specified in the tables.
  • Never insert e.g. fingers, fork, knife, spatula, spoon into rotating parts of the appliance and the accessories.
  • Never put fingers in the filling hole and do not use a fork, a knife, a spatula, a spoon etc. for the same. Use only the provided pusher for this purpose. · If the processed food starts to stick to the appliance (e.g. on knives, beater, container or lid), switch off the appliance and clean the accessories carefully (e.g. using a spatula).
  • Check the condition of the power cord of the appliance regularly.
  • Do not wind the power cord around the appliance; this will extend life of the power cord.
  • The power cord must not be damaged with sharp or hot objects, open fire; it must not be sunk into water or bent over sharp edges. Never put it on hot surfaces or do not let it hang over the edge of a table or work tables. Hitting, stumbling over or pulling the power cord e.g. by children can result in tilting over or drawing the appliance down and serious injury!
  • If you need to use an extension cord, it has to be uncorrupted and it has to comply with the valid standards.
  • Never use the appliance for any other purpose than that described in these instructions for use!
  • The producer does not undertake any responsibility for damage caused by improper use of the appliance and the accessories (e.g. food deterioration, injury caused by the knife blade, fire, etc.) and its guarantee does not cover the appliance in the case of failure to comply with the safety warnings above.
  • Short-time operating. Use the appliance for no longer than 2 minute, and don’t operate hard food for no longer than 30 seconds.

INSTRUCTION FOR USE

Accessory Installation

Insert the k attachment in the motor unit so that arrow facing to open symbol (Fig.1). Then screw the shaff in the direction shown by the locked symbol (Fig.2), using gentle hand pressure only ensures that the Shift is fully fightened on to the motor unit. To disassemble the attachment, proceed inversely.

How to use the hand blender

The hand blender is perfectly suited for preparing dips, sauces, soups, mayonnaise and baby food as well as for mixing and milkshakes. Fig.3.

  1. The steps to install the blender stick are described in “Accessory Installation”.
  2. Introduce the hand blender in the measuring bowl. Then press the control switch level I or the switch level II (turbo).
  3. You can use the hand blender in the measuring bowl and just as well in any other vessel.
  4. When blending directly in the saucepan while cooking take hand blender from overheating.
  5. Turn the blender stick off the motor unit after use.
How to use your whisk

Use the whisk only for whipping cream, beating egg whites and mixing sponges and ready-mix desserts. Fig 4.

  1. Inset the whisk into the whisk gear box adapter.
  2. The steps to install the wish are described in ” Accessory Installation”.
  3. Place the whisk in a vessel and only then press the switch to operate it.
  4. Turn the whisk gear box adapter off the motor unit after use.
    Then pull the whisk out of the whisk gear box adapter.
How to use your chopper

Chopper is perfectly for hard food, such as chopping meat, cheese, onions, herbs, garlic, carrots, walnuts, almonds, prunes etc. Fig. 5.

Don’t chop extremely hard food, such as nutmeg, coffee beans and grains.

  1. Caution: the blade is very sharp! Always hold it by the upper plastic part.

  2. Place the blade on the centre pin of the chopper bowl (Fig.8).
    Always place the chopper bowl on the anti-slip base.

  3. Place the food in the chopper bowl.

  4. Place the blade gear box adapter on the chopper bowl.

  5. Turn the motor unit on the chopping bowl lid until it locks.

  6. Press switch to operate the chopper.
    During processing, hold the motor unit with one hand and the chopper bowl/jug the other.

  7. After use, turn the motor unit off the blade gear box adapter.

  8. Then remove the gear box adapter from the chopper bowl.

  9. Carefully take out the blade.

  10. Remove the processed food from the chopper bowl.

TROUBLESHOOTING

The device is not working

  • Check that the mains connection cable is firmly plugged in.
  • Check the positions of the switches.
  • Check the positions of the accessories

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Always unplug the appliance from the power supply before cleaning it.
  • Remove the accessories before washing them in soap water. Do not clean the plastic materials with any abrasive scouring pad or steel wool, as this will be damage the finish.
  • Do not immerse the motor unit and parts P7, P11 in water or any other liquid. Do not place them in the dishwasher.
  • Cleaning the motor unit, parts P7, P11 only with a damp cloth only.
  • All other parts can be cleaned in the dish washer. However, after processing very salty food, you should rise the blades right away.
  • When processing food with colour, the plastic parts of the appliance may become discoloured.
