Never dry the plastic die- cast over a heat source (e.g. stove, cooker, radiator ).

Removing calcic sediments
In case of significantly longer time of coffee preparation, it is necessary to carry out cleaning of the water system from calcic and mineral sediments which are contained in drinking water. These sediments may be removed with a water solution with agents intended for these purposes. After finishing the cleaning, do not forget to rinse the water system of the coffee maker with clean drinking water at least 3 times to remove potential remnants of the cleaning agent used. In case of very thick sediments, you can repeat the process. Carry out the cleaning regularly , approx. 2-3 times a year with water hardness up to 18 °DH (22,5 °Clarke) a 4-5 times a year with water hardness over 18 °DH (22,5 °Clarke). You may find out the information on water hardness at your water mains administrator or at a hygienic station.
