BATTERY INSTALLATION
The battery compartment is located on the back of the remote control.
- Remove the battery compartment door by pressing in on the tab and lifting it off.
- Insert two (2) AAA size batteries (not included) into the battery compartment following the polarity markings inside the battery compartment.
- Replace the battery compartment door
BATTERY PRECAUTIONS
- Replacement of batteries must be done by an adult.
- Do not mix old and new batteries.
- Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.
- The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
- Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
- Exhausted batteries are to be removed.
- Only batteries of the equivalent type are to be used.
- Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity.
- Dispose of batteries properly. Do not dispose of batteries in a fire. The batteries may explode or leak.

PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
Installation
- Unpack all parts and remove protective material.
- Do not connect the unit to the mains before checking the mains voltage and before all other connections have been made.
- Do not cover any vents and make sure that there is a space of several centimeters around the unit for ventilation.
CONNECTION
- Connect the Power Cord (26) to AC outlet.
- Turn the Power On/Off Knob (16) clockwise until Power LED Indicator (17) light up. It’s mean the power supply is normal. Now your system is ready to play music.
LISTENING TO RADIO
Manual tuning
- Turn on the Power (16) and select Function knob (5) to “Tuner” position.
- Select the desired band by Radio Band Selector(2)
- Tune to the required station by turning the Tuning Knob (18).
- Adjust the Volume Knob (16) to desired volume level.
FM & FM-stereo reception
- Set the Radio Band Selector (2) at “FM” position, program are received in Mono mode. In particular when stereo signal are weak. It is preferable to receive the program in Mono.
- Set the Radio Band Selector (2) at FM-ST” position for receiving stereo programs. The FM-Stereo LED Indicator (6) will light up to show FM Stereo program is receiving.
Hints for best reception:-

AM:
The receiver has a built-in bar antenna. If AM reception is weak. Slight rotate or re-positioning of the unit will usually improve the AM reception. -
FM:
The receiver has a built-in FM Wire Antenna (25) hanging at the rear cabinet. This wire should be totally unraveled and extended for best reception.
LISTENING TO PHONO
NOTED:
- Remove the stylus protector.
- Be sure that the tonearm is being detached from the tonearm rest before operating and re-secured again afterward.
- Select to “Phono” function from Function Selector(5)
- Set the speed selector to the proper position depending on the record to be played.
- Place the record on the platter(use the Spindle Adaptor if required).
- Lift the tone arm from the rest and slowly move it to the record side. The platter will start to rotate.
- Place the tone arm to the desired position of the record.
- Adjust the volume to the desired level.
- At the end of the record, the platter will automatically stop rotating. Lift the tone arm from the record and return to the rest.
- To stop manually, lift the tone arm from the record and return it to the rest.
REMARK:
- As some kind of record the auto-stop area was out of the unit setting, so it will stop before the last track finish. In this case, select the Auto-Stop Switch (22) to “Off” position. Then it will run to the end of the record but will not stop automatically.(Turn off the unit by power button or switch back the Auto-Stop Switch(22) to “On” position to stop the platter rotate). Then put back the tonearm to the rest position.
- Aux and Phono were designed at the same position of this system. When Aux in jack(24) plugged by 3.5mm plug. The channel will change to Aux automatically and turntable will stop rotating. Please ensure the Aux in jack (24) without plugged by anything before playing Phono.
AUX-IN CONNECTION
Connect the unit to other device by connecting the Aux in jack (24) with a 3.5mm cable(not provided) and other end connect to the external device such as Discman/MP3 player to perform the music playback or encoding function etc.
- Slide the Function knob(5) to Phono/Aux position.
- Adjust the Power ON-OFF/ Volume Control Knob(16) to desired volume level.
- Start to play your external device.
PLAYBACK OF MP3 SONG VIA USB STORAGE MEDIA OR MEMORY CARD
Connecting
The system is able to decode and playback all MP3 fi le which stored in the memory media with USB connecting port or SD.MMC memory card.
- Turn the Function knob (5) to USB or SD mode
- Plug-in the USB with the face up and make sure it going into completely or insert the memory card in the direction of the arrow as shown in the label on the upside of the memory card slot. Insert straight without bending.
- Connecting the USB upside down or backwards could damage the audio system or the storage media (USB thumb drive/SD/MMC Card). Check to be sure the direction is correct before connecting.
- The system will start reading and playback the fi le in the storage media automatically after connecting and the Play LED indicator (13) will light up.
Remark:
USB port does not support connection with USB extension cable and is not
designed for communication with computer directly.
Play / Pause / Stop mode
- To interrupt, press the “Play/Pause/Stop button (10) once, the Play LED indicator (13) will be fl ashing. Press again to resume normal playback.
- If press and hold the “Play/Pause/Stop button (10) for two seconds during playback mode. The system will go to stop mode.
- To start playback again, press the “Play/Pause/Stop” button (10) to start playback, the fi rst track will start playback and the Play LED indicator (13) will light up.
Skip/Search mode (skip/search up / skip/search down )
- During play or pause mode, if “Skip Up” Button (9) is pressed. It will go to next track and then remain the play or pause mode.
- During play or pause mode, if “Skip Down” Button (9) is pressed. It will go back to the beginning of the track and remain the play or pause mode.
- After step 2, press “Skip Down” Button (9) again will go to the previous track and remain the play or pause mode.
- If press and hold the “Skip Up/Down” button (9) during playback, the playing track will go fast forward or backward until the button being released.
+10/-10 tracks(by remote handset)
Press “ +10 button (11) /-10 button (on remote control) to skip to your favorite track more conveniently.
Remark
- The system can detect and read the fi le under MP3 format only through the USB port or SD Card slot.
- If connecting the system to MP3 player via the USB socket, due to variances in MP3 encoding format, some MP3 players may not be able to play via the USB socket. This is not a malfunction of the system.
MP3 track format requirement:-
MP3 bit rate : 32 KBPS~256 KBPS.
Repeat/random mode
Press the Repeat/Random Button (7) before or during playback, a single track
or all the tracks can be played in different mode ass follow :

Repeat play
You can listen the desired track, or all tracks repeatedly by this function. -
Random play
You can listen all the tracks in a random order by this function.
ENCODING OF PHONO INTO MP3 FILE
The system is able to encode the Phono to MP3 format and record at memory media with USB connecting port or SD/MMC Card (support maximum up to 2GB memory size).
Phono encoding
- Set the Function knob (5) to “Phono/Aux” made and then press “ Rec” Button(8).
- The Record LED indicator (12) will light up. Now the system was ready to encode.
- Start playback at Phono of the track which you want to record to USB or SD.
- After finish of recording, press the “ Rec“ Button (8) again during recording mode.
REMARK:-
- The recording speed is 1:1 and according to the actual playing time of the record.
- The system will create an “AUDIO” folder and then store the encoding track in it.
- The recording format is preset at – MP3 bit rate: 128 KBPS, sampling rate: 44.1kHz.
- To interrupt the recording, press the “ Rec “ Button(8)again during recording mode.
- Please do not insert USB key and SD card at the same time, it may confuse the playing mode or the encoding mode.
Aux encoding
- Connect the unit to other devices by connecting the Aux in jack (24)
- Set the Function knob (5) to “Phono/Aux” made and then press “ Rec” Button(8).
- The Record LED indicator (12) will light up. Now the system was ready to encode.
- Start playback your external device to record to USB or SD.
- After fi nish of recording, press the “ Rec“ Button(8)again during recording mode.
Track separation (by remote handset)
You can divide the recording music from Phono to USB/SD track by track during encoding. Every time when pressing the “ TS “ (Track Separation )Button once at remote handset during encoding from Phono/Aux to USB/SD, the system will generate a new track and continue the Record LED indicator (12) will fl ashing one time. It mean the unit is creating a new track successfully.
Track delete (by remote handset)
You can delete the current playback MP3 fi le from your USB/SD media, just press and hold the delete button on the remote control during playback the current file, the Play LED indicator (13) will fl ash once, it means the current already deleted and system will just to next fi le and continue playback.
Removing of USB / memory card
To remove the USB/Memory Card, turn off the power or switch the function mode to either Phono or Tuner first. For USB port — unplug it by pulling out the USB socket directly. For Memory Card –pull out the SD/MMC card straightly without bending.
LINE OUT CONNECTION
You can connect the system to your whole Hi-Fi system by connecting the Line out Socket (23) to the auxiliary input socket with a RCA cable(not included).
Remark :
Due to ErP stage two requirement and protect the environment. The unit will
switch to standby mode automatically once no any music playing over 15
minutes.
REMOTE CONTROL TRANSMITTER
Battery installation (battery not provided)
The Infra-Red transmitter requires 2 pcs AAA size battery for operation.
Button description
WARNING:
