Safety Information

Please read and understand this entire manual before attempting to assemble, operate or install the product.
CAUTION: Read instructions carefully and turn electricity off at main circuit breaker panel before beginning installation.
CAUTION: Risk of fire. Min. 90 ºC supply conductors. Consult a qualified electrician to ensure correct branch circuit conductor.
WARNING: If any Special Control Devices are used with this fixture, follow instructions carefully to assure full compliance with N.E.C. requirements. If there are any questions, contact a qualified electrical contractor.
CAUTION: All glass is fragile. Use care when handling glass shades and bulbs.

Preparation

  1. Before beginning installation, make sure all parts are included using the contents diagrams from page 1. If any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to assemble, install or operate the product.
  2. Estimated assembly time: 30 minutes.
  3. Tools required for assembly (not included): Phillips screwdriver, pliers, wire stripper, safety glasses, electrical tape, ladder, drill.

Care and Maintenance
Shut off main power supply before cleaning product or changing light bulbs. To clean, wipe with damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or cleaners that contain alcohol.

Assembly Instructions

  1. Loosely thread the two screws (AA) onto the mounting plate (EE) as shown. Then, attach this assembly to the junction box using the mounting screws supplied with the junction box (not included).

  2. Unscrew the knurl nuts (D) to remove the trim ring (C) and the diffuser (B) from the fixture (A).
    Make sure to keep track of the knurl nuts (D) for use later. PROGRESS-

  3. Align the keyhole on the fixture (A) with the screws (AA) , and push the fixture onto the screws until the screw heads are securely inserted into the smaller side of the keyhole slot. Then, tighten the screws firmly all the way down into the junction box.
    Using the fixture as a template, mark the positions of the wood screw holes through the fixture onto the ceiling.
    Unscrew the mounting screws (AA) only halfway, and remove the fixture (A).
    Use a 15/64 inch drill bit to drill pilot holes at the locations marked and insert the wall anchors (DD). PROGRESS-LIGHTING-P350277-181-inch-Brushed-

  4. Strip 3/8″ of insulation from the electrical wire ends. Using wire connector (BB), connect the WHITE fixture wire to the WHITE supply wire from the junction box; connect the BLACK fixture wire to the BLACK suppl wire from the junction box.
    Connect the fixture ground wire and supply ground wire using a wire connector.
    Push all of the wire connections carefully into the junction box. PROGRESS-

  5. Align the keyhole on the fixture (A) with the screws (AA) , and push the fixture onto the screws until the screw heads are securely inserted into the smaller side of the keyhole slot. Line up the screw holes on the fixture (A) with the wall anchor (DD) holes on the ceiling.

  7. Place the diffuser (B) onto the trim ring (C), then align the holes form the trim ring (C) to the fixture screw post (A), use the knurl nut (D) to secure them all tightly together.
