IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE

  • Use the unit only as described in this operating manual.
  • Remove all the covering and marketing materials from the unit before the first use.
  • Make sure the mains voltage corresponds to the values stated on the product’s rating plate.
  • The unit reaches high temperatures during operation and remains hot for some time after being turned off.
  • Do not touch the hot surfaces. Use the handles and buttons.
  • There is a risk of being burned.
  • The unit may not be cleaned, stored, or covered until it has cooled down completely.
  • Do not put the unit on its side during operation.
  • Close supervision is necessary when the unit is on or plugged into the socket.
  • Never carry the unit during operation or while hot.

Caution
Bread may ignite. When using the unit, keep a sufficient space around and above the unit to ensure sufficient air circulation. Do not let the unit come into contact with curtains, wall linings, textile, paper, or other combustible materials while in operation. In addition, it is not recommended to install the unit near or under the above materials. Do not put any of these materials on top of the unit. Do not use the unit without the removable crumb tray. The tray shall be cleaned regularly. Do not allow crumbs to accumulate on the tray. They could touch the heating body and ignite. Do not insert any metal objects into the unit. Do not insert excessively big pieces of food into the unit. The unit is not designed for outdoor use. The appliance is intended for domestic use only, not for commercial use. When unplugging the unit from the wall outlet, make sure the unit has been turned off (bread lowering lever in the upper position), then disconnect the plug from the wall outlet. Never operate the appliance with wet hands Do not immerse the power cord, plug, or appliance in water or any other liquid. Use manufacturer recommended accessories only. Do not try to repair the appliance; instead, refer to an authorised service centre. This appliance may be used by children 8 years of age and older and by persons with physical or mental impairments or by inexperienced persons if they are properly supervised or have been informed about how to use of the product in a safe manner and understand the potential dangers. Children must not play with the appliance. This appliance may be cleaned by children 8 years of age and older if they are properly supervised. INSTALLING YOUR GRILL MAKER

The grill maker is for indoor use only. Place the unit away from water and do not use it near a swimming pool. Do not expose the unit to rain. The unit must be plugged into an electrical outlet. Place the grill maker on a flat, stable and heat resistant surface.

Prior to the first use
  1. Clean the plates with a wet soft cloth and then dry the unit.
  2. Connect the grill maker to a grounded electrical outlet.
  3. Set the thermostat knob to the left side position.
  4. Do not place food on the plate.
  5. The device can emit smoke during its first use.
  6. After about 4-5 minutes, turn the appliance off and let it cool down.
  7. Insert the grease collector tray at the back of the device.
  8. Now you can use the unit.

Assembly & operation

Waffle Maker
  1. Use the Grill Maker as a Waffle Maker. Simply to use the release button B to assemble the two waffle plates into the unit.
  2. Choose the desired shade setting through the timer knob and temperature knob.
  3. We recommend a temperature of 200–220 °C, cooking time of about 5–7 min.
  4. The temperature and time are tentative, depending on the type of dough.
  5. Allow the Waffle Maker to preheat.
  6. When the preheating is done, the Green ready indicator is ON.
  7. Add batter to the Waffle Maker.
  8. Open the Waffle Maker by using the handle.
  9. Pour approximately 2 cups of waffle batter evenly over the bottom plate.
  10. Use a temperature resistant nylon or wood utensil to spread the batter evenly over the bottom plate.
  11. Remove waffles. When the waffles are done, open the waffle maker and remove the waffles carefully with a heat resistant nylon or wood utensil.
Sandwich
  1. Use the Grill Maker as a Sandwich Maker. Simply to use the release button B to assemble the two Sandwich plates into the unit.
  2. Choose the desired shade setting through the timer knob and temperature knob.
  3. We recommend a temperature of 200–220 ° C, cooking time of about 4 min.
  4. The temperature and time are tentative, depending on the thickness and density of the food.
  5. Close the top cover of the sandwich maker.
  6. When the indicator lamp is green so the sandwich maker is ready.
  7. When the sandwiches are done, open the sandwich maker and remove the sendwiches carefully with a heat resistant nylon or wood utensil.
Grill maker/ Pannini maker

The Grill GE3000 is a really versatile piece of kitchen equipment. There are many different ways to use the Griddle and Grill. The first thing you need to do before using the Griddle or Grill is to select which side of the plates you wish to cook with. The flat griddle plates are ideal for pancakes and French toast. The ribbed grill plates are ideal for steaks, kebabs and paninis. You can use 2 grill plates together or 2 griddle plates together or a combination of 1 grill plate and 1 griddle plate.

  1. Connect divoice with electric network.
  2. Set required temperature and time.
  3. When the light turns green, the grill is ready for use 3-5 min.
  4.  When the temperature drops below the set value the green light goes out.
  5. When temperature corresponds with set temp. the the lights on again.
  6. The process is repeated several times during preparation.

To remove the plates

  1. Ensure the product is unplugged and is fully cooled down.
  2. Locate the plate release buttons which can be found on the right side of the unit
  3. Press the release button, plate will pop up slightly from the base.
  4. Lift the plate up and slide out from under the brackets in the centre.
  5. Repeat by pressing the lower release button and release lower plate.
  6. The plates can be hand washed or cleaned in the dishwasher after use.
Fully open position

To PRESS the button of handle end and push the handle back (see part E in figure 1and2).

Half open position

The Griddle and Grill can be used in the half open position. To adjust the appliance to this position, simply lift the handle until it comes into the fully upright position. The unit will stay in this position until you close the cover or continue to open it to the fully open position.

Slide out drip tray

The fat produced during cooking is drained via a small recess at the rear of the plates, allowing fat and grease to drip down into the integrated tray. The drip tray can be washed in the dishwasher.

Note
The first time you use the appliance, it may have a slight odor and may smoke a little. Safety Power off activate if the unit has been accidentally left on after cooking. The unit automatically shuts off the power 60 minutes after the last operation on the control panel. Timer helps to remind your defined time. If you miss a signal, the grill will continue cook according to thermostat’s preset temperature. When you have finished cooking, unplug the power cord. Allow the appliance to cool for at least 30 minutes before handling.

CLEANUP AND MAINTENANCE

  • Before first use and after every use, clean each part thoroughly.
  • Once you have finished cooking, unplug the power cord and allow the appliance for at least 30 minutes before handling.
  • Dispose of grease from the drip tray.
  • The drip tray can be cleaned by hand or in the dishwasher.
  • The cooking plates can be washed by hand or in the dishwasher.
  • Do not use metallic objects such as knives when cleaning.
  • This will damage the non stick coating.
  • Use only wooden or heatproof plastic.
  • If you have been cooking seafood, wipe the cooking plate with lemon juice to prevent seafood flavour transferring to the next recipe.
  • Cover and control knobs can be wiped clean with a soft, dry cloth. For tough stains dampen cloth.
  • Never use an abrasive cleaner.
  • Never leave plastic utensils in contact with the hot grill / griddle / waffle plates
  • Make sure all the parts are clean and dry before storing.
  • Never wrap the cord around the outside of the grill maker.
  • Never immerse the plug in water or any other liquid.

SERVICE

Any larger maintenance or repairs requiring intervention into the internal parts of the product shall only be performed by an authorized service

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

  • Packaging materials and obsolete appliances should be recycled.
  • The transport box may be disposed of as sorted waste.
  • Polyethylene bags shall be handed over for recycling.
