The given values are emission values and therefore do not have to represent
safe values in the place of work.
Although there is correlation between emission and pollutant levels, this is
not a reliable basis for determining whether or not additional safety measures
are necessary.
Factors able to influence the current level of pollutants in the place of work
include the type of place of work, other noise sources, etc. e.g. number of
machines and other
related processes. Allowed values in the place of work may also differ in each
country. However, this information should enable the user to evaluate better
the threat and
risk.
General safety instructions
Observe elementary rules for accident prevention when using electric tools to
avoid risks of fire, electric shock hazard and personal injury. These rules
include the following:

Assembly
Step 1 (Fig. 1)
Secure both supporting legs with the connection bar.
Step 2 (Fig. 2)
Install the switch on the rear side of the motor bracket. In doing so, the
emergency switch (not-Aus) must overlap the bracket edge. (4x M4x55) + (4x
U-washer 4 mm) (d)
Step 3 (Fig. 3)
Now insert the table extension (a) to corresponding holder on the cradle table
and fix with one of the black clamping screws (b).
Step 4 (Fig. 4.1 + 4.2 + 4.3)
First assemble the space bar followed by secondary table on the right hand
side of the cradle table with bolts and safety nuts included in the supply.
(Fig. 4.4) Mount the length stop (e) for the saw material also on the cradle
table and secure with the second black clamping screw (f).
Step 5 (Fig. 5)
Mount both plastic holders (c) onto the cradle table (4 hexagonal head screws
M6 x 8 mm)
Step 6 (Fig. 6)
Mount the limit bar with return spring.
Step 7 (Fig. 7)
Mount the protective metal sheet against splinters (h) on the rocker table (2
cross-head bolts M6 x 8 mm) (i)
Attention!
Make sure before first commissioning and every further use that the saw is
properly assembled and that all bolts are firmly tightened. Perform a couple
of rotating motions with the cradle table and make sure the saw blade does not
come in contact with any box part, and that the cradle table may return back
to default position autonomously and without resistance.
Before commissioning
Commissioning of the machine is strictly prohibited without prior reading of this operation manual and all safety instructions! Contact experts if you are not skilled in working with machines of this type.
- Unpack the saw and check for transport damage.
- This machine is designed for outdoor use only.
- The machine must stand firmly on a balanced and solid surface. Remove all waste from the floor around the machine; the floor must neither have slipping nor tripping hazard points.
- All covers and safeguards must be mounted properly and the rotary wheel must move freely.
- Check the machine and the cables for transport damage.
- Check fixed location, contamination, damaged points and sharpness of the rotary saw. Sharpen or replace blunt rotary saws.
- Check for proper tightening of all screw joints.
- Check the filler with groove wear level and replace, if necessary.
- The feeding cradle must return automatically to its original position.
- Check for clogged foreign objects that could be ejected from the machine.
- Electric power source must be protected by residual current device against 30mA stray current.
- Before connection of the machine please make sure that data on the product type sheet complies with characteristic of your power supply grid.
- Attention: It is necessary that bystanders are standing at sufficient distance from the machine!
- It is forbidden to cut several pieces or a bundle of wood at the same time – injury hazard!
- Bent pieces of wood must be inserted in the feeding cradle so that arched wall faces towards the rotary saw.
- The feeding cradle for the chopped materials is fitted with counter-tips that prevent revolving of the material being cut.
- Make sure before pressing the switch that the rotary saw is mounted properly and the moving parts of the machine moves freely.
Operation
Cutting
- Place the material to be cut to the feeding rocker. Press green button to turn the saw on. Wait until full revolutions are achieved.
- Grip the cradle table’s holders (c) with both hands and slowly and equally guide to the saw blade (10). The saw blade releases by slight rotation of the cradle table.
- Push in the cradle table only not to feel motor revolutions drop.
- Return the cradle table back to default position after cutting is complete.
- Remove cut material from the cradle table.
- To turn the saw on again, press red button on the switch.
Saw blade replacement (Fig. 8-11)
Caution: The saw blade may be very hot right after cutting – danger of
burning!
Let the saw blade cool down. Do not use flammable liquids for cleaning of the
saw blade. Hazard of injury remains also when the saw blade is stable. Always
wear safety gloves when replacing the saw blade.
Caution! Keep the direction of rotation of the saw blade during assembly!
Step 1(Fig. 8) Loosen the cover bolts on outer saw blade guard and remove
the guard.
Step 2(Fig. 9) Put the hook key (g) so it holds the flange.
Step 3(Fig. 10) Use the hook key (g) to loosen the flange nut counter-
clockwise.
Step 4(Fig. 11) Remove the saw blade and install a new one or sharpened
one in reverse order.

assistance immediately.
Protect injured person against further harm and keep him/her rest.
For case of accidents, each workplace should have a first aid box available
according to DIN 13164. Material used from the first aid box must be
replenished as soon as possible.
When calling emergency service, please give the following information to
operator:
- Place of accident
- Type of accident
- Number of injured persons
- Type of injury
Use of the machine according to intended use
The cradle saw for fuel wood is used for linear cutting of the fuel wood of
acceptable dimensions (see technical data) in the feeding cradle that may be
skewed towards the rotary saw. This machine is intended for outdoor use only
and operation by one man. Other persons must keep sufficient distance from the
machine in operation.
The machine may be used in compliance with the intended use only.
Any other use shall be regarded as use not compatible with the intended use.
The user/operator shall be liable for any damage or injuries caused thereby
and the manufacturer shall be released from any liability. It is permitted to
use only the rotary saws suitable for this machine (HM or CV). Use of HSS
rotary saws and grinding wheels of any type is prohibited. Operation of the
machine in compliance with its intended use is also compliance with safety
instructions, assembly manual and operation instructions contained in the
operation manual. Operators and maintenance staff must be thoroughly informed
about the machine as well as all related risks. In addition, it is necessary
to accurately proceed in compliance with applicable directives for accident
prevention. Comply with other generally applicable rules related to
occupational medicine and occupational health and safety.
Changes made to the machine release the manufacturer from any liability for
damage thereto.
Despite using of the machine in compliance with the intended use, residual
risks may not be totally excluded. The following risks may occur due to the
machine structure:
- Touching of the rotary saw on non-covered place of the saw.
- Touching of running rotary saw (cutting).
- Ejecting of the material being cut and parts thereof. Cracking of the rotary saw.
- Flying of defective parts from the machine. Hearing damage in case required PPE are not used.
The machine may be used in compliance with the intended use only. Any other
use in addition to above contradicts to intended use of the machine.
The user/operator will be responsible for the above and the manufacturer will
be released from any liability. Please note the appliance is intended for
domestic use only. We assume no warranty in case the machine will be used for
commercial purposes in trade or industrial operation and for comparable
activities.
Disposal
Disposal instructions are illustrated in the form of pictograms on the device
