This instruction manual contains important step-by-step instructions for the proper installation of the Propane Tank Gauge. Read and follow all warnings and instructions before installing and using the appliance. Keep these instructions for future reference.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
FOR USE ONLY WITH LIQUID PROPANE GAS TANK.

Ensure the burner valves in your grill/appliance are in the OFF position.

Ensure the propane cylinder valve is closed. If not, turn the valve clockwise until it is completely closed.

Disconnect the grill/appliance regulator from the propane tank by turning the nut counterclockwise.

Connect the propane tank gauge to the propane tank.
a. Connect the black collar side of the Propane Tank Gauge into the propane tank outlet. Turn the quick-coupling nut clockwise.
Use your hand to tighten the Propane Tank Gauge. The use of a wrench could damage the quick-coupling nut and result in a hazardous situation.
b. When connecting the gauge, have the face of the dial in a vertical position with a tilt to the gauge so that in case it gets wet, the moisture will run off the face of the dial. -
Connect the regulator to the brass end of the Propane Tank Gauge by turning the nut on the regulator clockwise.
Use your hand to tighten the regulator nut clockwise until it stops. -
After the connections are made, slowly turn the liquid propane cylinder valve back to the OPEN position. A reading on the gauge will appear.
• The green indicates that there is plenty of gas available.
• The yellow indicates that there is only about 10-15 minutes left before the propane runs out. Replace the liquid propane tank.
• The red indicates the propane tank is empty.
To check for leaks, wait 20-30 seconds, then close the valve on the propane tank. If there is a leak, the needle on the gauge will move towards the red color. If the needle on the gauge does not move, there is no leak present. -
When finished using the Propane Tank Gauge:

Ensure the burner valves in your grill/appliance are in the OFF position.

Ensure the propane cylinder valve is closed. If not, turn the valve clockwise until it is completely closed.

Disconnect the grill/appliance regulator from the Propane Tank Gauge by turning the nut counterclockwise.

Disconnect the Propane Tank Gauge from the propane cylinder.
